As we look back on this past month, we are reminded of a scripture found in Genesis 50:20 (NIV). "You intended to harm me but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives." As a group, we embarked on a mission to reach people not only while on stage, but also in their homes. As we stated last month, we had the privilege of praying for a gentleman, who was given only a few months to live, and his family in their home. We have made hospital visits and also had the pleasure of praying for another woman, suffering from stomach illness, in her home. We have decided that this is much more than a music ministry, and we want to reach out to people in other ways as God would lead us to do so.
God said that we are to go into the highways and byways, spreading the love of Christ and to be an avenue in which the Holy Spirit can do his work freely. Since making this our mission, one attack after another has come against this group, our families and our friends. But we have learned this - that God is Almighty, He is real and He is strong. We have noticed scripture come to life in that no weapon formed against us has prospered. Therefore we want to encourage all of you in this - God is so real and is so able to pull you out of any situation Satan has laid before you. Trust in the Lord, and know that his word cannot lie. He is forever true and promises to be with you every step of the way.
Rejoice with us in celebrating the greatness of our Lord. Expect wonderful things for your future and know that as a child of God, you are highly favored and blessed. We are expecting the same in our ministry and can't wait to fill you in on what God has done and what we see Him doing already. Our prayers are with you all, that the same mighty power that raised Jesus from the dead would rise up in your lives and begin to move mountains. Therefore you can once again say "I Am Free"!!!!

As you will see in the following where our Name is taken from.  As a ministry we use our music to reach the Lost and Dry in Spirit.

Thanks,

Ezekiel 37

The Valley of Dry Bones

1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. 2 He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. 3 He asked me, "Son of man, can these bones live?"
I said, "O Sovereign LORD, you alone know."

4 Then he said to me, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! 5 This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath [a] enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.' "

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.

9 Then he said to me, "Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe into these slain, that they may live.' " 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.

11 Then he said to me: "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They say, 'Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.' 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: O my people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. 13 Then you, my people, will know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. 14 I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the LORD have spoken, and I have done it, declares the LORD.' "

January 1, 2008 - Tuesday

I recieved an email the other day that really got me thinking about how much do we think of our Men and Women in uniform. It said " America is not at war, America is at the mall, The Military is at war.

I am a proud veteran of the United States Army. Ive served at Fort Jackson S.C, Fort Knox Kentucky, Ashafenburg Germany and Fort Hood Texas. And I know how much it means to have people pray for you when your away from home even when your not in harms way.

So the reason Im writing this blog is to let people come here and leave prayers for our Soldiers away from home and in the states. So lets start them off with a new year with a covering of prayer for safety and whatever God leads you to pray. But please leave them a prayer here for them to read. Lift them up. Let them know we are thinking of them. But most of all remind them GOD is thinking of them.

If you are a soldier and would like to leave a prayer request please do and also post it in a comment so that people just skimming through can see. But I speak for everyone in this ministry that we are behind you 110%. We are proud of our Men and Women in uniform. God Bless you all,

Bone Prophet is:

Eddie Moles - Lead Vocals/Guitar

Randall Timko - Backing Vocals/Bass

Eulice Adkins – Drums

It's been a long journey for each member of the three-piece Christian rock group from Knoxville, Tennessee, but since 2005, all the hard work is beginning to pay off for Bone Prophet. Lead guitarist Eddie Moles brought his edgy guitar and vocal style to the Christian music scene by way of garage bands, recording gigs and worship bands and is currently a Praise and Worship leader in his local Church. Bass guitarist Randall Timko got his start in Southern gospel groups, then moved on to bring his smooth and often funky bass licks to Christian rock and worship bands. The two were joined together 10 years ago in a Knoxville church, and two years ago decided it was time to put their talents and experience together to form their own flavor of Christian rock.  They called upon veteran drummer Eulice Adkins from the bluegrass state of Kentucky.  With a strong musical background ranging from Southern rock to contemporary Christian, Eulice brought the beat that complemented the duo's new sound.

As the three began writing and molding their music, it was obvious this trio clicked, and the best was yet to come.  All songs of Bone Prophet are original and heartfelt, with titles such as "Filthy Rags", "Can You See Him in Me", "Damascus Road", and "Freedom" as well as many more. The trio has been given many opportunities to play in the East Tennessee area and has been met with much success. The group's sound has been compared to bands such as Aerosmith and Daughtry as well as Christian rock bands Third Day, December Radio and Seventh Day Slumber with new cuts waiting for the next CD. The band's sound thrives on a mix of hard rock, blues and funk while never shying away from strong ballads.

Bone Prophet is not only a band, but more importantly delivers a strong message that glorifies the saving grace of God. It is priority to the group that audiences would leave a Bone Prophet concert with a deeper understanding and stronger conviction of Jesus, realizing what He has done for them and can still do today. The trio believes that every concert or event is not an opportunity to perform; rather it is a God-given privilege to minister.

As Bone Prophet continues to minister to the East Tennessee area, it is their goal to reach listeners outside of this area, and they are currently doing just that.  As a featured band on the popular Internet music site MySpace Music, they are gaining unlimited fans from all around the world every day. Remember to hear song samples and check out concert listings, band photos and updates at this myspace site.  The band is currently working on a full-length album, release date TBD.  For booking information, please contact 865.748.4047 or 865.556.1087.

Become a Christian: Step through the Gospel
First, you can be sure that God loves you unconditionally and desires to have a personal relationship with you.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16).

Second, you need to admit your sinful nature to God, because this is what separates all of us from Him.

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23).

Third, you should stop trying to please God through your own efforts, and realize that salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ is a gift that none of us deserves.

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8).

Finally, you just need to step in and truly accept God's gift -- His Son, Jesus Christ.

"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name" (John 1:12).

So, now you know the basic steps to become a Christian. As a result, if you desire God's gift of eternal life and fellowship with Him, you are as close as a sincere act of faith.

Jesus says,

"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6).

Jesus also says,

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." (Revelation 3:20).

Receiving Jesus is a matter of truly asking Him to come into your life, to forgive your sins, and to become your Lord and Savior. It's not merely an intellectual undertaking, but rather, an act of sincere faith and heart-felt will.

If you want to receive Jesus now, and accept His gift of salvation, it's a matter of believing in Jesus Christ, repenting of your sins, and turning the rest of your life over to Him. This is not a ritual based on specific words, but rather, a prayerful guideline for your sincere step of faith.

"Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."

"Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2:38)

If you decided to become a Christian today, welcome to God's family. Now, as a way to grow closer to Him, the Bible tells us to follow up on our commitment.
  • Get baptized as commanded by Christ.
  • Tell someone else about your new faith in Christ.
  • Spend time with God each day. It does not have to be a long period of time. Just develop the daily habit of praying to Him and reading His Word. Ask God to increase your faith and your understanding of the Bible.
  • Seek fellowship with other Christians. Develop a group of Christian friends to answer your questions and support you.
  • Find a local church where you can worship God.

If you decided to become a Christian today. Please let us know by a comment to this blog. You dont have to be at any special place to except Jesus into your Heart. Just Believe and Ask. Let us know, so we can pray for your daily walk with Jesus.  Thank you and God Bless you new life.
