... well, as many of you may already know, we're taking an indefinite hiatus for awhile. It has been a very busy couple of years filled with many highs and lows. We've had some amazing tours with some very great bands and friends, played for thousands, and traveled the entire country multiple times over. Before we go any further please don't freak out! This doesn't mean Kessler is breaking up or that you can't expect to see us performing in the future. It does mean that we are taking the time off to be with our families and re-evaluate God's plan and purpose for our lives. It also means that the crazy tour schedule of the past is coming to a screeching halt. At this point, we're really not sure as to the capacity of which Kessler will continue to operate. We all feel very privileged and blessed to have lived our dreams thus far and been able to do what many thought were impossible. The last thing we want to do, however, is continue to do this for however many years down the road and feel like we've missed the call of God on our lives. We are each very passionate about music and performing but, at some point you just have to ask yourself if this is all there is. It's time for a change. This could mean changing the direction of Kessler as a band or quitting altogether. Rest assured, we will keep everyone in the loop when we roll around to the new year. As for shows, we still have a few left this year so if you happen to live close please stop by and hang out for awhile. Who knows, might be the last chance to catch one! We love each and every person out there who has ever been at a show, bought merch, let us sleep on their floors, and have shared in our trials and triumphs over the years. I'm sure this will leave many of you asking alot of questions but, unfortunately there's really no answer right now. We are all very excited about the last few shows this year and what 2009 holds for us.
As always, Love~
KSLR

Hey guys! Here is a list of a few stations that you can call to request our first single 'Outside Your Window'. If there is a station that you know is playing in your area that we don't have let us know and we'll get it up here for others to check out! Oh, and please remember: Please call only once per day, if the radio DJ's feel like they're getting blasted by only Kessler fans it could annoy them and actually hurt our chances of getting played more.Love~ KSLR DALLAS,TX106.1 KHKS KISS FM - 214-787-106email - billythekid@1061kissfm.com 102.1 KDGE-FM The EDGE - 214-787-1102 email - jessie@kdge.com or ayo@kdge.com 89.7 KVRK Power FM - 214-787-1897 email - drue@kvrk.com CORPUS CHRISTI,TX KKPN 102.3 PLANET FM - 361-814-1023email dave@planet1023.com or go here and fill out the request form KLTG 96.5 The Beach - 361-882-5483email bert@thebeach965online.com, chris@thebeach965online.com, or keev@thebeach965online.com HOUSTON,TXKTBZ 94.5 The Buzz 713-212-5945KHMX 96.5 Mix FM - 713-212-5965 KRBE 104.1 - 713-390-KRBE(5723)email carson@104krbe.com or go here and fill out the request form KKHH 95.7 HOT Hits - 713-390-5957email mobounce@hothits957.com or davemorales@hothits957.com AUSTIN,TXKHFI 96.7 KISS FM - 512-390-1967email tonycortez@967kissfm.com or cruz@967kissfm.com SAN ANTONIO,TX KXXM 96.1 Mix FM - 210-470.5961 or text 96262email rush@mix961.com or jojo@mix961.com BROWNWOOD,TXKPSM 99.3 The ROCK 915-646-5993 ROSWELL,NM KBCQ 97.1 FM - 505-623-9797 or 505-622-6450KSFX 100.5 FM - 505-623-4000 ALBUQUERQUE,NMKLYT 88.3 Massive 88 - 505-338-3700 ST. There comes a time in one's life when they need a little change. It's a good thing. It's kind of been a tough summer for me and so I needed a little 180 in my life. A fresh kind of start if you will. Sometimes we just need to do a britney spears type of act. I'm not talking about going crazy but something a little drastic. I have had long hair since I was in pretty much junior high. I loved long hair and it had to be perfect, a little ocd of mine. So I had to think of what I can do to get that change. If you haven't already noticed, I shaved my head. Why not, it can grow back and I'm not the one that takes the longest to get ready in the band anymore. Tell me your thoughts, if you like the long hair better and maybe a story of something you have done drastic before. If you are bold enough, shave your head and send us a pic. Love you all. Mike

So this video is all about how messy I get when I brush my teeth. I get a hard time from everyone about how long I brush my teeth and how messy I end up getting (myself, the sink, the mirror, and the counter tops in some cases, etc). I just like to have clean teeth and I make sure to brush each one and all of them. I'm sure I just scored some major points with moms everywhere by saying that! Anyway, Steve and I thought it would be funny to show you just how messy I can get, so I hope you enjoy, and please remember to tell all your friends that happy teeth are clean teeth. Don't forget to turn up the bass for this video! It makes it cooler. You'll see. Thug Life forever Yo! Devin

We started our short two week tour this week last Friday. The first few shows with Pillar have been amazing. We've met alot of really cool people and are having a blast. About a few weeks ago I was helping my wife's family have a garage sale and came across a stuffed E.T. doll amidst a slew of other stuffed animals and such, just like the 1980's classic movie. I pulled him out and thought," Dooooooood! I'm bringing him on the next tour so he can be our van mascot!" It started out innocent enough but now we all know better.... For the first few hours of the trip E.T. sat quietly on the floorboard in the front of the van. It wasn't long after that people started to notice that it seemed like E.T. was staring at them. A cold, dark and evil stare. The kind of creepy stare you get from a stranger in a ice cream truck. We dare not remove him from the van though for fear he'll eat us in our sleep. So now E.T. has been banished to sit on the dashboard, where his evil stare can torment oncoming traffic and the rear-view mirrors of people who cut us off on the highway. Steve~
