I'm so excited that you're all so excited!
I've had many questions regarding the pricing of the tickets for the VIP dinner, as well as the tournament itself.

Right now, the pricing is still being finalized.
Spectator tickets are also a hot topic among the fans who don't golf. I will have answers for all of you within the week; Brian, Leighanne, and I actually have a meeting tomorrow morning with the golf club. The VIP dinner is going to be especially great for non-golfers; we're going to have some great entertainment, along with some really fun stuff like a silent auction!

For everyone who is planning on attending and lives out of the country:
Don't worry! There are many of you who would like to attend! We will make sure the tickets are internationally friendly, and that we get all the information to you all ahead of time so you know when tickets will officially go on sale.

My advice to everyone is to continue to check the blog! I'll keep you all updated as best I can, and as fast as possible.

As always, you know where to reach me with any questions or comments:
madison@healthyheartclub.org

And thank you to all of you who have offered to volunteer at the tournament!

A New Look!

Hello all, and welcome to the new and (still sort of being) improved HHC site!
We've added and changed lots of things on the site to keep you updated and involved with everything that's going on here at the HHC.
On the front page, you'll find the blog which will be my main tool for communicating with you all about our upcoming events, etc.
One of our newest and most exciting events is the HHC BMW Golf Tournament.
This year, the Healthy Heart Club will be hosting the BMW Golf Tournament in Alpharetta, GA. The tournament will actually be a two day event, starting with a dinner the night before the actual golf tournament. Tickets will soon be available on our site, as well as more information on the tournament. Until then, mark your calendars for June 14th and 15th of 2009!
Also, the HHC is very excited to present you with BRAND NEW WYLEE ITEMS made SPECIALLY For the HHC!!! Leighanne has given us some great new designs, complete with a brand new fabric that can only be found at the Healthy Heart Club!
In addition to the new look of the site, the new fundraisers, and the new merchandise, I have a newly improved email which will make it much easier to communicate with me! The address itself has not changed, you can still reach me at madison@healthyheartclub.org or madison@healthyheartclub.info!
If you have questions, comments, or concerns about the new site, or would like information about anything going on with the club, please feel free to email me!
All the best,
Madison

Yeah the HHC is welcoming a new coordinator ; Madison.                                 Here a message she posted on the HHC website :

Dear HHC Fans,

I'm so excited to be taking over for Dona here at the HHC! We have a lot of new stuff going on here at the club, and I could not be happier about becoming a part of it right now! I'm looking forward to getting to talk to you, and hopefully helping you guys out however I can! That being said, I'd like to introduce myself to all of you.

First of all, my name is Madison Hext and I'm 22 years old. Im finishing up college at Kennesaw State University, which means I'm very close to obtaining my Bachelors' degree in Public Relations! I'm new to the HHC, although I've had the privilege of seeing it grow over the years, as I'm also the niece of its wonderful founders, Brian and Leighanne! When I'm not working at the club or going to school, I'm generally singing, writing or playing music. In addition to music, I also write books, and I'm attempting to have one finished within the year.

Now that you know a little bit about me, I'd like to let you all know that you can reach me for help or information about the club at my new e-mail address: Madison@healthyheartclub.info

I will do my best to work with Leighanne and Brian to get plenty of news and updates out for all of you!

Sincerely,

Madison

Give her a warm welcome!!! She deserve it!

I had the opportunity to exchange few mails with her ... Madison is a  really nice person and seems to be really excited about being coordinator! I am certain she will do wonderful things for the HHC !

Welcome Madison and...thank you!!!!! :o)

Review by Laura

It was so much fun at the bowl-a-thon. It was funny that Brian put a different name instead of his name on the screen. I didn't get any strikes though :( I did get a spare though a few gutter balls. In the beginning me and Brian were tieing with gutter balls lol. Brian got a strike in the 1st game then almost a turkey I think that is what it is called in the 2nd game before they shut it down. It was funny when Brian had on the raffle tickets around his neck lol.  Baylee was so cute when he was bowling and he was having so much fun. Leighanne was doing good at bowling also. I told Brian about me having alot of seizures at their concerts and he asked me if it is because of all the lights. And I said I don't think so. I did not have a seizure at the bowl-a-thon :) When the cosmo bowling started brian turned to me and brian asked if I was alright and I said yea I am. When he was doing the meet & greet I showed him a medical braclet that I have that says I have epilepsy, what meds I take, what I'm allergic to & who to contact if I have a seizure. He said I'm happy that you are ok I think that is what he said. We gave each other a high 5 during bowling & at the meet & greet. When he was talking to my best friends friend on the phone he remembered my name. He said Laura come with me I thought that was so cool.

Review by Chelle

Hey this is Chelle! I was the leading coordinator for the HHC Bowlathon. My quick review: it was a great memorable event for all those who attended. My own personal goal was to host a well organized event and I had the perfect team to work with. As a result, everything was perfect...and we helped raise alot of money for HHC. It was great watching Leighanne and Brian interact with all those who attended. Brian, Leighanne and Baylee had a team of their own. We drew door prizes....a few won a spot to bowl on both Brian and Leighanne's team. We had lots of games for everyone to enjoy. We had one game where if you rolled a strike you got a beach ball...as each person rolled a strike...you were able to take the beach ball away from the person who had it before you. Yup, I was able to take the beach ball away from Brian. He was tooooooo funny! But I didn't win the final prize, which were two Build a Bears. One was a Brian bear named "Brother BRok" and the other was a Baylee Bear "BooBoo." They were toooooo cute! The raffles, it was nice to see a mixture of people win some amazing prizes! Following the raffles, we held a meet and greet for our attendees.....and everyone had a fair opportunity to get a picture and autograph with Brian and Leighanne. At the end of the day, everyone walked away with great memories and lots of great pictures. The members of MBSBFC had a chance to celebrate our success at the MBSBFC Banquet (which was our "AFTER PARTY")....it turned into a great evening for all! So, my personal expectations...exceeded everything I had hoped for. Thank you so much from my team......each of you....were the best to work with!!!! Thank you!!!!!
