last night's show at Elbo Room was great!
heads bobbin all night!

We brought some peeps in to do track video & audio.
We'll be taking the next several weeks to wrap up some projects then on to mixing/mastering this live recording.  

Expect to see it out in the fall!

yeah, yeah.. I know it's been sometime since we blogged you, but we swear we haven't been blogging anyone else in the since.

We fell short of a few goals &  accomplishments we wanted to achieve this year, but as usual.. some things just fell through and we didn't get all we wanted (just like that christmas when you were 8 and you didn't the that He-Man castle.. damn how I wanted that!)

got a few more festivals to tackle before we play another chicago show (aug 26th), but this fall it'll be on to much traveling as we are currently planning some outta state dates.

We're also looking into another big Halloween show!  For those of you who were there in 07', I'm sure you remember.

Recording some new tracks late summer & looking to release a short EP in the fall.


We're also looking for a few good interns... so if you know some peeps interested, drop em our way asap!


That's all for now, but we'lll be sure to blog more often.  Promise.

- Aryk will be stepping out solo acoustic on this one performing with former America's Next Top model cast member Sarah Vonderhaar!
Our friends Peter Terry & Brian Sharpe will also be performing this night.

- this will be our first full band show since 2008. Aryk's vocals are all healed up and ready to go following his recent vocal surgery.

There are a few upcoming shows here in Chicago that we' re gonna need your help at in promoting lo/fi pioneer.

We've got a fresh face in the band!
Joing us on the low end of the auditory spectrum is our new bassist David Opio

David joins us from the amazing chicago Hip-Hop group Berto Ramon.  He's got some nasty chops and is not afraid to show em'
Drop by his myspace (we've linked it for you) and say hello.
We've already started david's initation process and are giving him daily beatings to make sure he's tough enough to fit in the band so don't give him too hard of a time.

So finally, after months of insurance clear-ups, scheduling conflicts and all other mishaps I will be going under the knife this thanksgiving (no pun intended here) for a much needed surgery on pipes.
Yup, I've been having some problems singing for the past year or so and have been in and out of doctor offices for the past months. Finally, after getting all things cleared up, I will be undergoing a procedure at the end of this month to have some polyps removed from my vocal chords. It's not a huge, invasive procedue, but I'll be needing to take some time off from speaking & singing for sometime.
Expect to see us back in march where we're gonna blow up full throttle as we got some tricks up our sleeve.

in the meantime we'll be looking to release some video blogs & giving you some updates on the band. We've also been busy recording some new tracks so expect to hear a few tunes plus some.

I truly appreciate everyone's positive thoughts and wishes.

the band and I are lookin forward to seeing you all again real soon!
