The Nutrition and Cancer DVD is, at last, available to the public!

You can buy one (or many!) copies through the AICR website.

I have a DVD "Food for the Fight - Guidelines for Healthy Nutrition During Cancer Treatment and Beyond". This was a triple partnership between New York Presbyterian Hospital, The American Institute for Cancer Research (www.AICR.org), and Abbott Nutritionals. It has been a long time in production, but we hope that it will help a lot of people as we get it out into the world. We present nutrition tips for people who are currently undergoing cancer treatment, as well as recommendations for how to stay healthy afterwards. We included dietitians, chefs, MD/researchers, current patients, and longer-term cancer survivors. AICR is going to be selling them at cost through their website.  There is also a possibility that it will be picked up for broadcast by PBS - We are pretty excited about that.  We are also re-editing some of the un-used interview footage for a different version the Discovery Channel.

I presented some of my work at the American Dietetic Association meeting in Philadelphia in September 2007.

This was about the survey we did that led to the production of the DVD above.

To make some of my work more accessable, I've moved it to the blog section.

I was on a Webcast on Parkinson's Disease in October 2007. The whole conference was videoed and will stay on the website for a year. (See www.pdf.org for details.) I'm on the last panel on day 1.

A booklet I wrote for the Huntington's Disease Society of America (HDSA) is available at this link.
