Thursday 23rd October: The Birmingham Style Awards took place and it was a really good evening, I presented an award which Topshop deservedly won and drank lots at the after party with my friends!

Friday 24th October: Woke with a severe hangover and got myself to Fighting Fit Gym for a workout with Wayne which made me feel a lot better. After Kerrang I went back to London and spent the weekend with my family and friends who i'd not seen in ages! Went to see Jamie Jones play at Hub Hub in East London, really good night out with all my old mates i'd not seen in ages!

Saturday 25th October: Caught up with my old friend Mel who's wedding I went to in Italy this summer and we looked at all her wedding photos. Then stayed in with my mum and dad and watched The X Factor (they love it!) My mum cooked a lovely dinner for me - very rare for me to be eating on a saturday night!

Sunday 26th October: Had an entire afternoon at my twin sisters with all my grandparents, mum, dad, sisters and nephews it was so lovely seeing them all after so long being away from home, popped to cafe 1001 in brick lane in the evening to have a few drinks with my friends then drove back to Birmingham! Tired....

Thursday 31st October: Pretty quiet week being very sensible having lots of quiet night's in and working every day at Kerrang! Radio, its been 3 wicked weeks with my new co host OJ Borg, I love working with him.... if you want to tune in to the daily drive time show then go to www.kerrangradio.co.uk and listen online or nationally on DAB, Sky & Freeview too..... Tonight i went to DJ in Bristol and lost my cd wallet after getting very drunk!

Friday 1st November: Drove from Bristol to London and flew to the Czech Republic for a gig. Amazing, they loved it over there!

Saturday 2nd November: Flew back to london and sat in traffic for 2 hours before having a nice chilled night watching the film Nacho Libre - hilarious! Loved it....

Sunday 3rd November: Spent the entire day in the studio putting together my first ever compilation album for Toolroom Records, it went really well but it took forever! Drove home from London to Birmingham about 9pm... Tired again!

Wednesday 5th November: Went for my drive time producer's leaving drinks, for once it didn't get messy! Got home and did some shopping on ASOS! Only just discovered it, amazing and my stuff arrived the very next day! :-)

Thursday 2nd October: just had laser hair removal on my bikini line – ouch! But worth it…. More pain at the gym with Wayne.... Ba**ard! But i love him for making my body look better!

Friday 3rd October: Had my hair died today – bleach blonde…. Looks in good condition seeing as its had so much colour on. Did my drive time radio show on Kerrang! and headed down to London where I met my best friend in Fulham for a quick drink before having a dinner date at a gorgeous Thai restaurant called The Blue Elephant. I drank half a bottle of champagne and ate yummy food it was a lovely evening.

Saturday 4th October: Spent all day in the studio putting together my 1st ever compilation to be released on Toolroom Records. I'll let you know when you can buy it on i-tunes soon. In the evening I went back to my old school after 10 years to perform a comedy sketch by Victoria Wood called 'Fatitude' to help raise money for cancer research. My old drama teacher Bridge has recently found out she has breast cancer, so to help raise money for such an important charity she invited past students from the school to come back and perform songs, acts, and dance performances. It was a fantastic evening, my nanny has cancer it is a charity very close to my heart and we managed to raise over £7000! Straight after the charity event I drove up to Birmingham where I was djing at Q Club.

Friday 10th October: After a busy week working every day at Kerrang! and going to the gym 3 times instead of 2 times (very proud of myself) I went and picked up my friend from the airport and we flew to Belfast where I was djing at a club called Scratch. Only just made the flight! Got back very late and went to bed about 4am.

Saturday 11th October: Slept for ages and didn't leave the hotel in Belfast until 2pm! Refreshed and revitalised, I went for lunch with Jill – she looks after all my djing in Ireland and Northern Ireland then flew back to Birmingham. I picked up my best friend Skin and she made me watch The X Factor until it was time to go out for dinner. Went to a gorgeous restaurant in Brindley Place called Cielo. The most amazing Italian meal I've ever had in my life! I thought all the best restaurants were in London! Italian is my favourite though so I'm probably being biased. Was so nice having an early night for once on a Saturday!

Sunday 12th October: Went for breakfast then to The Bullring in Birmingham for a coffee before seeing best mate Skin off on the train back to London. Met Bradley my new flat mate and we went to Ikea to look at furniture for the new flat that we are going to be moving in to in a couple of weeks. Got all excited walking round Ikea I loved it. Went to Penny Blacks for Sunday roast It was yummy – had bread and butter pudding for dessert too, I've eaten so much this weekend!

Wednesday 15th October: Did the hardest session at the gym this morning. Wayne says my arms are starting to look like Madonna's! Woo woo exciting. I'm thinking of learning to snowboard. It's something I've always thought I'd be rubbish at but there is a snow dome not far from Birmingham so I may go and have lessons too.

Don't forget as of Monday 20th October – I'll be joined by the lovely OJ Borg on my Kerrang! Radio Drive Time Show. You can listen from 4pm – 7pm Monday to Friday on 105.2fm in the west midlands and across the UK on DAB, and sky channel 0183. OJ is lovely, he's funny and entertaining and I'm really excited to have him join me on Drive.

These last 2 weeks have flown by it's scary how quick this year has gone!

Sunday September 14th: After a messy night in Belfast djing and partying I woke up to my friend Jill saying 'Kate ... Kate... Your flight home has been cancelled!' - Great.... Just what I need, I've got to get back today though as Kerrang! Radio are at Birmingham Arts Festival and I need to introduce The Levellers on stage later!! 'What does that mean then?' I asked Jill..... 'Well I've managed to book you on another flight but it leaves in 2 hours so we need to go now' responded Jill.... Winner - I'd had about 2 hours sleep and looked like i'd been dug up from hell.... After a quick shower & a full english breakfast I didn't feel too bad and flew back to Birmingham, arriving just in time to see some really cool bands and do my bit. After that a load of us from Kerrang! went to The Rainbow beach party in Birmingham which was really good fun... although i ended up drinking too much and the next thing I knew I woke up fully clothed, trainers and jacket on, phone in my hand laying on top of my bed..... time check - 3:30am, head check - ouch.... hangover pending.

Tuesday September 16th: The last 2 days have not been that pleasant due to a horrible incident that happened in the building where I live in Birmingham. 2 girls were found murdered in the flat 2 floors above mine. It's tragic. They were sisters, I can't imagine what their parents must be going through, I have 2 sisters. I'm on my way down to London for 2 days anyway so I manage to get away from it all.

Wednesday September 17th: Ouch... my head hurts. I roll over and stare at an almost empty bottle of vodka sitting 4 inches away from my face on my bed side table. 'Why!? Why do I always have to drink one too many!' I never drink during the week, I like to save it for the weekends but I had a date last night and I was really nervous. I had a really good time though and although i was drunk and completely passed out when I got home it looks like i'll be seeing him again :-) Oh sh*t just realised the time i'm supposed to be at the Bauer Radio Awards in Central London in 1 hour.... I've never got ready so quickly in all my life! Shower, make up, hair???? Scraped back - pretending to go for the messy look when really my hair is just... messy. Taxi - Train - Taxi again and I make it just in time for the awards which began at midday. Everyone from Kerrang! Radio was there looking very glamourous. As the day went by, I watched them all drink more and more wine and around 7:45pm we all boarded a train back to birmingham! The noisiest and funniest train journey i've had in a while... Went to see Scars on Broadway at the academy later that evening - wow amazing band I love them!

Sunday September 21st: I'm absolutely shattered... Woke up saturday morning at 2:30am, drove 2 hours to heathrow, arrive at 4am - board a flight to copenhagen at 6, land and wait for 2 hours for a flight to Lithuania... finally get to LIthuania at 2pm Saturday.... The promoters of the club i'm djing at tonight pick me up and take me for a huge slap up meal - yummy! I had 3 courses and then slept in my hotel for 4 hours.... My DJ set was at 1am and we left the club at 10am.. I have 2 hours sleep then a 3 hour drive to another airport where I fly to Stockholm then back to London Heathrow.... Finally the drive home which I somehow managed to do without falling asleep.... Longest journey ever!! Completely worth it though.... Global Club in Lithuania rocked and I can't wait to go back and DJ there.

Tuesday September 23rd: Had lots of friends round this evening, my friend cooked home made burgers and we ate lots of chocolate cake for my friend Sarah's birthday while watching repeats of America's Next Top Model - the new season has started its got me hooked already I love that programme! And we watched 'The Family' on channel 4 - hilarious. It's 1am, i've just finished tidying up the flat, best get an early night i'm viewing a flat tomorrow i've decided to move in with my friend.... EXCITING!

Fri 22nd august: My gay pride dj set in manchester was cool, I opened
the event so I didn't wana play too hard before boy george - who I met!
What a lovely guy... Stayed sober and drove back to birmingham at
midnight!

Sat 23rd august: awake at 7am after getting home at 1:30am and packing
my suitcase as was too excited to sleep!!! Italy and ibiza not far away
now. After a morning spent in harvey nicholls birmingham having a lovely
relaxed shopping trip for last minute sunglasses and shoes I drove to
london and flew to italy for my friends Mel & Si's wedding. Wow!!!! They
married in Pisa in a beautiful historic town hall and we stayed in
Siena, Tuscany where the reception was. We spent 5 days in the beautiful
italian countryside relaxing and their wedding was without question the
most beautiful wedding I've ever been to. I wana be that in love one
day! :-(

Friday 29th aug: 20 of us meet at london gatwick at 5am to fly to ibiza!
Excited. My friends and I stayed in a lovely apartment in playa den
bossa, I was djing the back room at Privelige on Monday 1st September
and after my set was asked to play Amnesia Terrace for Cream on the
thursday. I nearly wet myself when nick phoned me. 3000 people at least
I nearly threw up when we arrived at the club but it was amazing and a
dream come true. Ibiza was so cool, really sunny, gorgeous spanish and
italian boys EVERYWHERE, amazing restaurants and beautiful beaches... A
really needed break... Still never found mr right tho! :-(

Tuesday 2nd September: Carl Cox @ Space - without question the best night in ibiza for me this year. VALENTINO KANZIANI absolutely smashed the fuck out of main room, totally blew me away with his music - AND i met Shlomi Aber, Adam Beyer, Sharam, Nic Fanciulli and Steve Mac all that night! Unreal....

Sunday 7th September: I left all my friends to party for another week
and flew home alone really late.

Monday 8th September: Got 4hours sleep at my home in london then drove
back to brum for Kerrang Drive. Ouch. Tiring. Tanned though!

This weekend I have friday off so I'm going to go for dinner at Cielo as
I've never been before! And saturday I'm djing at an afterhours club in
Belfast.... Excited :-)

t feels longer than 2 weeks since I last wrote my blog! So much has gone on, I'll start with 2 weeks ago when I had my first weekend off in ages! Was so nice to go back to my home in London and see my nephew Louie who is 1 years old as well as all my friends. We went out in Hoxton for my friend Carla's birthday in Hoxton Square where it rained all day! A few drinks turned into a drunken escapade to my friend Sam's where we all got naked and danced to music video's on youtube then somehow managed to all get covered in banana!? Odd but very funny. Her French male neighbours could see us dancing and we made friends with them & ended up breaking in to Hoxton Square park about 3am and sat on old blankets drinking til the sun came up! (so much for a weekend off) Last Wednesday I flew to Dubai where I was djing on the Thursday at the amazing Chi (Lodge) and I had the best few days. Dubai was 38 degrees but the night life is cool & I met one of my favourite DJ's Paolo Mojo at his gig on the Friday. Lovely guy. Flew back Saturday and I was djing in Cardiff on Saturday night. Sunday I did a one off show on Kerrang! with the lovely OJ Borg. My friend Bradley came over Sunday evening and cooked me a roast dinner (not had one since about 1986!) Yummy! This week I've got 3 training sessions in the gym with my kick boxer trainer Wayne as I'm off on my holidays soon! This morning I had my tattoo lasered again at the SK:N clinic – its soooooo painful but its fading a lot now so won't be long til its gone! J I'm djing at Manchester Pride this weekend then back to London to see all my family and on Sunday I'm going away for 2 weeks but I'll tell you about my adventures and where I went in my next blog in 2 weeks time…. So this weekend fast approaches and I couldn't be more excited... One of my best friends Melissa's hen party is this Friday night (i cant say where we're going in case Mel reads this as its a suprise but i simply cant wait!

Saturday i'm djing in Lush - Port Rush - and i'm sooooo excited, it is one of my favourite clubs to play I love it there...

Hayfever sucks, so does not been clever wiv computers! I need my myspace pimping - who out there can help me? I know nobody! :-(

Last weekend was one of my bestest friend Josepi's birthday, went back home to london and spent all saturday from 2pm at the big chill bar in east london - amayonaissing! We drank til midnight and the sun was shining all day, oh the joys of living in london! I miss you. Got driven to cambridge for dance island festival, played after axwell - all i remember is getting up on the speakers and dancing... ooops.  Saw my little nephew louie sunday (not seen him for a month) he is sooooo beautiful, makes me want babies!!  Not just yet though... no way, was about to say no way ho zay then but wouldn't dare.......

Playing at The Plug in Sheffield this saturday, bit nervous as last time the sound system crashed 10 minutes in to my set which didn't go down very well with the crowd!  They seemed to think it was my fault, so hopefully they won't have held it against me and will come back to see miss lawler do what she does best behind the decks.....

Buzzing to have a night off this evening woo woo! Am going to chill out and go to Taste Birmingham tomorrow, a huge food festival in a big park where u just sample yummy dishes all day and buy nice foods for your fridge.... Hope it stays sunny. Off to the gym now, loving the pic in heat magazine this week - they've said i look too skinny but i refuse to agree... I think i look slim and almost as toned as i'd like to be i'm just caining it at this new boxing gym next door to Kerrang! Radio, my trainer Wayne is amazing which is just as well seeing as he charges a f**king fortune!
