Hello patient lovers.

For the last two years I've been performing a song All There Is To Say About Love and have been explaining that it comes from an album called More Heart Than Brains that I made with a woman from Brussels named Joëlle Phuong Minh Lê, who I've never met in person. Together, we are Bike For Three! Well, at long last this labor of love and agony is seeing the light of day. The album is being released by Anticon on May 26. We've kept a tight lid on this project for a long time now. Joëlle and I are very excited and nervous to share it with you. We sincerely hope you like it.

Bike For Three! should not be thought of as a side-project. This album is NOT a one-off affair. We plan to continue with this collaboration for a long, long time. So be on the look-out for us and spread the word. Bike For Three! is a perpetual motion machine.

Thanks for waiting for us.

Buck

Hey Friends,

It's normally my policy to give, give, give... But just this once, I want to ask you a favor. It will only take a few second of your time.

Here's what I want you to do - and I really, really appreciate it: go to http://www.cbc.ca/radio2/obamasplaylist/theplaylist.html - then click on/select the song "Brother (Watching)" by Shad, then click on 'vote' at the bottom of the box. Vote for the Shad song. That's all.

Please do it by the end of the day Friday (January 16), OK?

Thanks a lot.

See you soon.

Hi Friends,

It's been a while.

Today I added a bunch of new songs. Enjoy. They come from a new project called Dirtbike. They aren't for sale anywhere and never will be, but they shouldn't be too hard for anyone to find. It's totally post-modern.

I have some other hair-brained ideas for getting music out there that I'll be trying soon. Watch out.

The Bike For Three! album will be out soon. Early-early 2009.

I wish my profile didn't look so boring. One day soon I'll try to make it dynamic to look upon.

I have a day job now which changes everything (almost entirely for the better). I think the music business is changing crazy-fast and I'm doing everything I can to not get left in the dust. I'm thinking forward. I'm also thinking about survival.

I now have a cat named Kevin. But he also has a lot of nicknames: Rabies, Garbagey, Stink Bomb... He creates another change in my life. I'm a dad now.

I feel strange and nervous about the upcoming election in the US. On one hand, I feel like I know who I want to win. On the other hand, I feel like whoever does has an impossible task laid out in front of them and we'll all probably end up hating whoever it is after a few months anyway. I don't think anyone can fix all the problems out there right now. So sometimes I feel like it would be easier to deal with if someone I already don't like wins. Know what I mean? It's a terrible attitude to have, I know. But it's pretty hard to be optimistic when you're swirling down the toilet...

I better get back to work, but I promise I'll be back soon. Sooner than last time.

Thanks for being my friend. I appreciate your patience.

We are still getting an incredible response to Buck 65's performance with Symphony Nova Scotia in April this year.

We are trying to get the rights to release it digitally, but in the mean time you can stream it any time at www. cbc. ca

As many of you know, I've recently accepted a position at the CBC, our national broadcasting station here in Canada. From September 2nd on, I will be hosting Radio 2's Drive Show every weekday across Canada from 3pm to 6pm. Deciding to do this has been the biggest decision I've had to make in my life so far. It's impossible to say exactly what this will do to Buck 65, but I'm seeing it entirely as a positive. I'm working on tons of new music right now and will continue to release albums and tour the world. It's going to be a learning experience, but I love radio and have always seen it as my dream job. And on the program I'll basically be playing music and telling stories, my two favorite things!

For more information on the relaunch of Radio 2 and my new Drive program, please visit http://www.cbc.ca/radio2/..thenewR2.html
For live international streaming of my program starting on September 2nd, please visit http://www.cbc.ca/radio2/
