Hi, my name is Ian LeFeuvre. Among other things that I'll get to later, I'm the singer, songwriter, guitar player and producer for The Hundreds and Thousands. In terms of the lineup (myself, drummer Peter von Althen and bassist Maury Lafoy), The Hundreds and Thousands is basically the new name for our old band by the name of STARLING. We put out our record 'Sustainer' on TimeBomb/BMG then another 'Stuff You Should Have Said Before' through Maple Music. In terms of our new sound, the new name represents us trying to do something a bit different. We're making things a bit more paired down, raw and jagged, with a little more emphasis on the drums & bass. Our self titled debut album will come out on April 28 09 on NETTWERK records. Stay tuned - more mixes will be posted on our Myspace as we go. With some more shows and a recent American tour with the BARENAKED LADIES (SO fun, thanks guys) under our belts as THE HUNDREDS AND THOUSANDS, we're happy to be really playing together as a band again - a bit of a lost art in these days of digital editing.

On other fronts, I've been recording and playing with K-OS lately, something our very own Maury has done as well. Maury played on K-OS' 'debut JOYFUL REBELLION,we both played on K-OS' last Atlantic/Virgin release ATLANTIS and again will both appear on his upcoming album YES!(Universal). I've also started writing with BNL's ED ROBERTSON for his upcoming solo project. I'm still playing lots of shows in anther band by the name of MAJOR MAKER too - check out the Myspace. Maury has been producing some records and doing some more film & TV work as well. Peter continues to play with JIM BRYSON and is playing on lots of records too. Lots of projects on the go, lots more music on the way...In other words, we're just getting going.
