We've got some bitter-sweet news for all of you. The Cave party outside Pittsburgh this month has been cancelled. That's the bitter part, the SWEET part is that we've decided to postpone our NYC show until June 28th to make up for it. So we're going to be bringing the heat to Crash Mansion at midnight on Saturday June 28th. Crash Mansion is the closest thing we could find to a cave here in NYC. Of course that means martinis, models, loungey and swank. Voted the best new live music venue in NYC! We've got some exciting additions to this show so stay tuned as we get this party jumpin! crashmansion.com

Current mood:  strong
We’re psyched to announce that BioDiesel will be performing at Breakfest 5 at WMC on Sunday March 30th. The event is at the Catalina Hotel and is a day event that will feature other acts such as Reid Speed, The Autobots, General MIDI and many others. That’s not all, the show is FREE!

It’s such a pleasure to have us mixed in with all these DJs, where we feel most at home. We owe a huge thanks to Essentail Breaks, After Dark records and Steez Promo for having us. We’re looking into doing a Florida date or two leading up to WMC so stay tuned for that.

Here’s the info on the event:

OK, we've got a little bad news. Devereux had a little bit of a "liver" problem. We were en route from River Street Cafe to Downingtown (School of Rock) when there was a loud thud from under the hood and it quit :( We were able to make it to School of Rock for the show but unfortunately Johnny wasn't able to make it in time for his clinic. We owe a HUGE thank you to Allen Aucoin of the Disco Biscuits who was able to fill in for Johnny. We are going to make sure we make a special trip to Downingtown so we can make up for missing the clinic. Also a big thanks for Tom McKee for not only having us but playing with us that night for some truly amazing music.

There have been a number of runaway hits over the last week. "Cruise Director" and "Dog Sweater" have turned into monster songs. The mash-ups have been a real hit as well.

We wanted to thank everyone for coming out to the shows. It was quite the hairy weather yesterday getting to Rochester but the mix of bad weather and us cramming all the gear in a rental minivan madde for a super high energy show last night. Those that braved the weather, we salute you.

I'm about to post some photos to the myspace page, so look under albums to see what we've been up to.

See all of you in the next week or the next time we're in your town!

All right everyone! Here's my first foray at a blog to try and keep all you in the loop. Sorry for the delay, the last week has been crazy but I'll try and keep on top of it!

First of all, we are touring in our new family member, her name is Devereux and she's a retired ambulance. We converted it to run on used fryer oil that we're able to pick up along the tour so, you guessed it, BioDiesel is now running on biodiesel. You've got to ask Clay if he'll give you a tour during setbreak ;-)

We had a couple of issues with the WVO (Waste Veggie Oil) conversion early in the tour but as we left Charlotte it's now running 110%. We're really looking forward to spreading the word about alternative fuels while we continue to "pump out" (sorry) great music.

Clay and Johnny have converted the back of the Devereux into a rolling studio. They've been writing music and recording in the back of her all week. The music that's coming out of the back as I drive down the interstate is absolutely amazing.

Scott Schneider is touring as our sound man, engineer and all around good guy. He's been doing a great job documenting the music that these guys have been creating. So the 4 of us are having a great time and the music is getting tighter and tighter. Scott and I can't even get Johnny and Clay out of the back of the ambulance when we stop for piss breaks! They love it, and as a result the music is really something to be witnessed.

I'm going to be posting some pictures and videos over the next few days. Keep an eye out for us as there are some rumors that BioDiesel will be playing stealth gigs during the day when we're playing a city that night ;-D We might be giving out clues as to the location and time of our stealth gigs from the ambulance, other times, we might not.

I'll see you guys very soon! Come say Hi! Buy a fuckin' T-Shirt!
