Disco D (50 Cent, Nina Sky) releases his filthiest beat yet with Trick Daddy's 'I Pop', the B-side to his latest single 'Duck Down'. Tapping on the sounds and style that D first experimented with on his underground Ghettotech releases, the beat is a minimal uptempo ass shaker equally fit for the strip club and the warehouse party. The record is already receiving radio, club and mixtape play around the globe, and has been streamed over 270,000 times already at Trick Daddy's official MySpace page. Check it out!

'I Pop' is a bonus track on the Best Buy version on Trick Daddy's upcoming album "Back By Thug Demand" to be released December 2006 on Slip N' Slide / Atlantic Records

For Immediate Release: Disco D Officially Launches Disco Digital, Composes Original Theme for VH1..s 2006 Hip-Hop Honors

New York - Multi-platinum producer and world-renowned DJ Disco D has launched music house Disco Digital, lending his musical ear to the areas of composition and sound design. Disco, a musical prodigy who blazed a trail in Detroit's Ghettotech scene at the tender age of 16, has since produced and remixed tracks for what reads like a who's who of the recording industry, including 50 Cent, Nina Sky and Trick Daddy. Of his new business venture and his work with VH1, Disco D says, ..Composing the theme music for the VH1 Hip-Hop Honors has continuously been a highlight of my career. I am pleased to be able to kick off my new Disco Digital venture with the 2006 theme .. it..s definitely the hottest beat I..ve ever done for TV!..

The relationship between Disco D and VH1 began while he was still under the tutelage of New York based Expansion Team. During that time, Disco also utilized his talents in composition and sound design to create innovative sounds for corporations such as Sprite, Best Buy, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon and X Box. Disco is responsible for the VH1 Hip-Hop Honors theme music for three years in a row (sharing co-producing credits in 2005). This year will prove to be the best yet. As Shannon Horan at VH1 put it, ..Disco totally rocked this on his first pass. He knows our channel, he knows the artists, he understands all of the nuances of their styles, and he just knocked it out of the park...

Despite Disco Digital's recent inception, the music house boasts an impressive resume that includes the licensing of the Disco D-produced bilingual Brazilian hip-hop group BRAZA..s ..Son Do BRAZA.. to NBA Live 07, Electronic Arts.. ..1-rated NBA simulation, as well as in-show licenses for the latest season of MTV..s top-rated The Duel: Real World Road Rules Challenge. D has also been tapped to provide the original score for Bomb It! .. a feature-length documentary on global graffiti culture, produced and directed by Jon Reiss.

The 2006 VH1 Hip-Hop Honors debuts Tuesday, October 17 at 9 PM EST.

The brand new mix CD Gringo Louco is an essential primer on the Brasilian flavors of Baile Funk. For those that are looking for a new take on that classic Disco D sound, Gringo Louco presents the Ghettotech For Slow People CD all the classic Disco D ghettotech tracks that defined the genre re-mixed, re-mastered, chopped, slowed, and generally f*cked up by the man himself. With a discography spanning genre-defining underground records,
multi-platinum productions and chart-topping remixes, and music for
award shows and national ad campaigns, 25-year old Disco D's raw
production style, sharp ear, and unique skill in developing the sound
of new artists has the industry buzzing HARD. Disco D first achieved
notoriety as one of the originators and top DJs of Ghettotech - an
urban hybrid of Detroit techno and electro, Chicago booty house and
Miami Bass. He released his first 12" EP at 17 and opened his first
vinyl-only label at 19, issuing many tracks that have become staples
of the Detroit scene. Both Urb and Mixer hailed him as a "prodigy"
and Details Magazine described him as "a phenom, blowing away DJs
nearly twice his age." In 2001 he appeared on the cover of XLR8R
Magazine and was named one of the "Top 100 Artists of 2001" by
Alternative Press.
Relocating to NYC in 2002 after graduating from the University of
Michigan's business school, D has quickly sidestepped into the world
of commercial hip-hop, R&B and dancehall. In 2004, Disco D
collaborated with HOT97's Cipha Sounds for a number of projects -
co-writing, co-producing and mixing five songs on Nina Sky's smash
debut album (including their latest airplay hit "Turnin' Me On" feat.
Pitbull.) He also collaborated with Cipha on a number of hit
dancehall remixes, including Christina Milian's "Whatever U Want"
(peaking at ..6 on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart) and
Pharrell's ..1 single "Frontin'" (co-remixed with Federation Sound's
Max Glazer and featured on the Grammy-nominated Def Jamaica album.)

His move to New York also marked the beginning of D's foray into the
world of music for broadcast. Working with new music house Expansion
Team (http://www.expansionteam.org, ) D has built up an impressive
resume of commercials, show packages, and sound design work for
companies like Sprite, Nike, Xbox, and Comedy Central. Most recently,
D composed all original music for VH1's flagship awards show 'Hip Hop
Honors,' a campaign for Best Buy which aired two weeks leading up to
The Superbowl, and both radio and TV spots for Sprite Remix's newest
flavor "Aruba Jam."

2005 was the year when things truly popped off for D, starting with
the hood smash "Ski Mask Way" on 50 Cent's latest multi-platinum album
"The Massacre" and continuing with tracks for AZ and The Clipse;
remixes for chart-topping hits like T-Pain's "Sprung" and tour dates
from Brasil all the way to Tasmania. However, D's biggest guns are
yet to be unveiled. D's been hard at work producing the bulk of Kevin
Federline's highly 'anticipated' debut album, a project which has
brought D's name to the world of the Associated Press Wire, US Weekly,
CNN and late night broadcast talk shows. Additionally, D is keeping
his empire growing with several new business ventures, including the
self-released CDs "Ghettotech For Slow People"
and "Gringo Louco," DiscoDVD a series of self-produced and edited

mini documentaries, and DiscoDigital, which could very well prove to
be the world's first online-only major label.
