tour

We are excited to announce that we will be going on tour for three months with our good friends Daughtry starting March 18. This tour is the perfect opportunity for us to showcase the new record as we prepare for headlining dates later in the year. We have our dates up, some tickets are pre-selling now, and the rest on Saturday. We hope to see you out there! -rick jay ben bryce

ps there are a handful of europe shows at the end of February in Amsterdam and Germany!

Rehearsing for Conan at my place and just got the news-

There will be one last shift in SMOKE&MIRRORS release. Given the opportunity to move our street date to march 2, we discovered that a lot more doors opened up to make people aware of the record.

Jason answers album questions

Jason has taken some time to answer some of the questions LH fans have been asking about the new album Smoke and Mirrors....

-According to Halfway Gone, is the new album more pop-like than the ones before?
Halfway Gone is definitely pop, which we love...but not to fear, there's plenty of rock stuff from hard to near progressive on this record. Since radio will play little to none of the harder stuff we have, we're grateful to have a sound that allows us to record songs like HG. We feel confident that there is content on Smoke and Mirrors that our long-term fans will be happy with.
-Where is the album being released in Europe?
The definitive date is YTD but it is for sure coming out in Europe, in fact HG is already a hit in Holland and gaining real popularity in Germany! This is a good sign for our future in Europe.

-Are you guys touring Europe soon?
We may be coming to Holland and Germany in late Feb, early March for a brief promotion. Actual touring dates will follow our upcoming tour in the US that begins March 18.

-When is the new CD tour starting?
  We will be going on a three month tour through the states starting in March. No promotion dates booked at the moment. We have 2 separate Mexico appearances and the March tour. Details will be available shortly.
-Crash in burn is on the record?
Crash and Burn AND a live studio recording of EVERYTHING will be on the deluxe version. There is also a ballad on the DV that is a hit song produced by Jude and Pat Leonard, producer of Madonna and many others. The circulating track listing is accurate.
-Why did the album take so long?
Behind every company there are windows. We tried to get this out sooner than later, and Geffen would have allowed us to come Dec 8... however, when we got close to the date our team realized that the new song didn't have enough ears on it yet. It was decided that taking our time and letting radio play the new track for awhile would allow more excitement to form. It's a tough call always because when you have the kind of hardcore fans that Lifehouse does, information travels quickly... so we understand there are some of you who feel that moment is being lost. Thanks for being patient.
Will you come to Brazil? The effort from our team to send us international is a big priority on this record.  I hope we make our way down there soon.
On a scale of 1 to awesome, how would you rank this new album? Definetly awesome. I Can't wait for everyone to hear it.
