The 2nd part to our birthday celebrations features a massive act in the tiny surroundings of the attic, the place it all began!

Prostitutes & Policemen present...

Switch (Dubsided)
As if this man needs any introduction. One of the UKs biggest producers has remixed a list of acts as long as my arm including the likes of Klaxons, Jacknife Lee, Lily Allen, Futureheads, Freeform 5, Azzido Da Bass, Black Ghosts, Radioclit and many many more. He has dont production work for MIA and Santogold and is the man responsible for pioneering the ’fidget house’ sound. His record label dubsided has releases from the likes of Hervé, Sinden, Trevor Loveys and Jesse Rose. Really this man is massive and to have him in a venue this size, is so exciting!

Welcome to 2008 and thank you to everyone who came down in 2007 and made it possible for us to continue!

Fresh from the sell out event that was SebastiAn and our review in mixmag, we return to our roots for our first event of the year, The Attic!

Prostitutes & Policemen present...

Boy 8-Bit (Trouble + Bass)
The former Black Ghosts member is being hammered all over Radio 1 by Annie Mac and Kissy Sell Out at the moment and returns to Manchester to headline P & P. Having pumped out many a remix in 2007, expect his first (and second!) EP to be on the shelves soon. Get down and see one of the certain stars of 2008.

Run Hide Survive Soundsystem (Club Pony, Sheffield)
Residents of the hugely successful Club Pony in Sheffield. Having perfected their DJing abilities, they are now trying their hand at producing and to good effect too!

James Ark (Stealth, Nottingham)
Our new resident, so get down early and get familiar with this guy. Fresh from supporting Mr. Alkan on NYE and many-a-set at Stealth in Nottingham, Ark is brimming with confidence and has the skills to match.

P & P DJs

This has been a long time coming, 6 months in the making and its finally here. Tickets are already flying out and it promises to be huge! We welcome the mighty SebastiAn!

Prostitutes & Policemen present...

SebastiAn (Ed Banger)
The prince of the ever growing Ed Banger label / cult. This is his first show in NW England in over a year and will be his last UK show of the year. Having remixed everyone from Bloc Party to Rage Against the Machine and having toured with Daft Punk all year, he is certainly destined for greatness. Don't miss him!
www.myspace.com/0sebastian0

D.I.M. (Boys Noize / Turbo)
Having previously released material on Tiga's Turbo label, D.I.M. is now signed to Boys Noize Records. This is a sign of what he produces, some of the dirtiest beats around!

Monday, October 15, 2007
3 weeks after our move to The Zoo, we return with our strongest lineup yet. This will be bigger and better!

Prostitutes & Policemen present...

Headman (Relish)
Over the past seven years Robi Insinna a.k.a Headman emerged as one of the most influencial producers of the new dance and disco scene. He was accredited official DJ of the tour by the 2 many DJs and rocked a crowd of hysterical fans everywhere he played. But all of this is far from being enough for our swiss multi-talented artist. Robi created his own label Relish recordings in 2001.

Duke Dumont (Turbo / Dubsided)
Hotly tipped, Diesel U Music award winner Duke Dumont will be
making the trip up from London to help celebrate our return. With acclaimed
remixes of Mekon and Missy Elliot under his belt, DD recently released his
debut ep on Tiga's Turbo records which sold out instantly leaving even the
man himself without one (apparently).

Nightmoves (Kitsuné)
Nottingham's No. 1 producer returns to Manchester. Having released a string of remixes last year, including Klaxons, Punks Jump Up, Shitdisco, Infadels and more, we expect great things from him!

Hostage (Roccodisco)
Scotland's most prolific producer of recent months and currently being one of the most blogged about producers, expect his Manchester debut to be electric!

Friday 19th October
@ The Zoo
10pm - 3am
£7 / 9 (tickets available from: www.ticketweb.co.uk / www.ticketline.co.uk / www.skiddle.com / Gaffs / Piccadilly Records)

see you all there!
