I am tired of seeing the same boring art surrounded by the same stuffy 50 year olds. I would like to create an annual hanging of the art created by local kids. The only thing we need to do this is gallery space and art. If you feel that you have some interesting, bold, inovative or unusual art I would like to see it. I don't want to see any images of Yosemite or the usual landscapes. I want to see poetry, photography, painting, drawing, tattoo art, sculpture, prints anything that isn't the same old shit as far as our narrow minded community is concerned. I also need ideas as to where we can hold this hanging. The galleries in downtown show no real interest in helping us out, so this will be on us. All of the funding, marketing and so on will be on our heads. Now don't get too excited or expect immediate results. This will take a while to organize, but that doesn't mean we can't start making this happen now.

It's time for a change.
