So, I noticed today that Jah Roots made downloads available in their myspaz player and I realized that the feature had FINALLY been implemented by the myspock team. I've always wanted to offer our tunes for download to you, but the feature hasn't worked the whole 2 years we've had the site.
Well, slap the shit out of me and then slap me for shitting; it's on today. Granted the tunes we have up are low-budget basement recordings from a year and a half ago, but it's all tunes we still play and they are way different now, so, there's some heart and nostalgia to these recordings. Download away, Tiger.
And feel free to burn them. Burn them like a right-wing PTA Mom in front of a stack of "Animal Farm" paperbacks. Burn them for your friends, your enemies, your lovers, and your ex-wives. Hell, burn me one; I don't have time with all this mixing of THE NEW ALBUM on my hands.....
This NEW album is really coming along, even if slowly. The band has really tightened up the last few months, and having John Anderson's ear to help me mix has been a real boon. Our drum tones will make you think you just opened the Ark of The Covenant and looked right in; immediate melted face.

"Begin Again" is a completely improvisational song. The Pro Tools rig was running and it got tracked. A-Rock made every word up as you hear it. Johnny B. was sound checking record levels while getting a keyboard tone. Salsa just kicked a beat and Chaz started playing backward guitar with the new pedal his girlfriend gave him (Happy Birthday, Chaz). Rob Sex just did what he do. Yes, we have officially written the tune with tighter everything, but we wanted you Socialites to find your way into the moment we get to have. The creating. Enjoy the new stuff.
