Current mood:  excited

On Jan 4th, I posted some info about a class project in my Marketing 421 course at University of Phoenix.  Our team had came up with an energy drink called "Einstein" with a target market made up of college students and intellectual professionals.  It was to be made with all-natural ingredients and infused with herbal extracts.

An article I found on MSN describes the new marketing strategies of Coke and Pepsi.  <-- Read Article Here -->.  It seems that these high-fructose soda pop giants are viewing natural energy drinks as a "viable investment".  Perhaps the Einstein idea may see production yet!  Stay tuned for more...

A couple of weeks ago, we submitted our house plans to developers, and the bidding is on!  We should be breaking ground soon!  Here is a quick look at the plan that we chose:

Ranch House Plan # 521057 - at www.ultimateplans.com

It's a neat layout, isn't it?  Let us know what you think.  When I get some time, I'm going to make a 3D mockup and animated walkthrough in 3DS Max.

The current sermon series at Savannah Christian Church is all about money.  I know, we've all heard sermons on the church's position on money, and know how easy it is to get turned off by their perspective.  These sermons are completely different - these sermons are not a plea for money, or an unrealistic get rich scheme, but rather a unique perspective on how God views our finances.  These sermons discuss how our giving blesses others, absolutely the best sermons I have ever heard on the subject of money!

As a team project for my marketing class at University of Phoenix online, we have designed a new energy drink called Einstein.  Marketed toward health conscious college students and intellectual professionals, Einstein energy drink is all-natural, and caffeine-free.  Carbonated with sparkling water, flavored and sweetened only with fruit juice.

How does it provide a boost of energy you ask?  Well it it infused with a unique blend of herbal extracts specifically designed to reduce eyestrain, stress and fatigue while enhancing circulation, mental activity and memory.  With flavors like Pomegranate Cherry and Blueberry Applejack it sounds like it has true potential.  Find out more here!

Well, what do you think?  If you are interested in a product like this, let us know by posting a comment to this blog.

I just uploaded a Particle Illusion emitter that I created for some projects I was working on.  I used these on my daughter's dance recital video and a title animation for a church play.  I used some shapes from previous emitters to make this new library.  More emitters coming soon.

Download it here

This weekThe Science Channel is showing a documentary called "St. Nick: The Real Face of Santa. It's interesting to see how the origins of this holiday legend took hold over the centuries. More information can be obtained at this web site.

Everyone needs to see The Nativity Story this holiday season! It is a great movie and gives you a unique perspective on the story of the birth of Christ. I highly recommend.
