The difference a year makes is crazy. I've been through a lotta changes since I got up with Rookie to put this together. Really like IMMEDIATELY after we started taping this in Feb of last year. I have a new home. I use the MPK (with FL) now. I use a different mic. I don't have the same best friends. I'm playing the electric bass now. Hell, A Change Gon' Come wasn't even out yet (note: the lyrics to "Heart Beat" was on my notebook in the video). Hell, I dont even use a notebook anymore! lol I was at a different job location. I've gotten into directing music videos now. Just a lotta shit, my head is spinning right now thinkin about it. But you see what I'm sayin. Anyways, thanks Rookie and all the good people at Graffic Audio. You couldn't have caught me at a better time to do this video. Now, we gotta do a Part 2! PEACE

13 Is a number of special significance. Note that there were twelve apostles, but Jesus, the Christ , made a thirteenth member at the last supper. 12 is the number of solar months in the year, but 13 is the number of lunar months. While the solar vibrations are positive-creative in type. The lunar vibrations are negative-receptive in type. Each, as a reflection of God, is equally important.13 means either death through degeneration, or life and attainment through regeneration. There are no half-way measures in 13; it requires all or nothing. If 13 is your number, face it and win! "Choose ye this day whom ye will serve," (Joshua 24:15). In Deuteronomy 30:16, Moses said, "See, I have set before thee this day life and good – or death and evil – therefore choose life, and both thou and thy seed shall live."carnation in the flesh represents the soul's burial in matter, where it loses the power it originally had in the ethereal realm where it was created to be a companion to God. Eating of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil leads to spiritual, not physical, death. When the soul turns from God to self it figuratively dies. We wander about on earth in the flesh, as prodigal sons and daughters, victims of spiritual amnesia. The prodigal, even as you and I, went from the father's home off his own free will; the father did not send him.

Abstract Mindstate presents…Chicago's Hardest Working Mixtape Vol.3: The Celebration! Released on 4 The Soul-Reciprocity Inc., this release was produced solely by Chicago up and coming producer/emcee Rashid Hadee who is featured in the Oct '07 issue of XXL Magazine. V3 will undoubtedly go down in Chicago's Hip Hop history books. Packed with an all-star cast of emcee's who all have earned pioneer status in The Go, this mixtape could only be dubbed "The Celebration". If the sub-title conjures thoughts of a very well known television skit, by a very well known comedian, about a very well known R&B/Funk singer who is now deceased, then you're right on point. Those who have a sharp ear for production will appreciate how Rashid Hadee chopped, sliced and diced various songs from the legendary Funk singer/guitarist catalogue for Abstract to feast on. The concept of V3 was the brain child of Olskool Ice-Gre (the male half), who accepted his role years ago as the go to person when it came to hooks and/or song ideas. He knew no one could have brought his vision to life with better precision than Rashid Hadee. The guest list on this soon to be classic, reads like a "who's who" of the Chicago Hip Hop/ music scene. The artists who came to party include: 3 heads from the All Natural Inc. music family; The Primeridian, Iomos Marad and Tone B. Nimble, 2002 WGCI Home Jam Artists Hall of Fame (Abstract Mindstate won in 2000), underground legend Stedy Serv, CTA Radio's own Pugs Atomz & Thaione Davis (WHPK 88.5FM), true B-Girl femcee Ang 13, internationally known wordsmith Malik Yusef, pioneer emcee O Type Star, 3 time Apollo winner and veteran vocalist Cristina (Sanchez), Rhymesayers Entertainment signee and veteran femcee Psalm One, the aforementioned Rashid Hadee (Neblina Records) and last but not least 4 The Soul-Reciprocity's own; Dre Cagney and Trizonna McClendon. V3 is Abstract Mindstate's way of showing love and respect to the veteran artists who have made an impact on the Chicago Hip Hop/ music scene regardless if they're on the nationwide radar or not. Abstract Mindstate calls Chicago's Hardest Working Vol.3: The Celebration their "pioneer party". There are a few notable Go-IL pioneers who received an invitation but chose not to show up for the party (which was a let down) but what more can fellow pioneers do? Chicago's Hardest Working Vol.1 was Abstract Mindstate's freshman attempt at creating a mixtape, so the group opted to simply have fun by creating a few exclusives, rhyming over a couple of popular instrumentals and mixing in previously recorded and/or unreleased tracks. Chicago's Hardest Working Vol.2 (Project Soul) was a concentrated effort where the group crafted tracks specifically for the project. The majority of the production was handled by Rashid Hadee (except the Common featured "Nostalgia"). The music on V2 was very soulful and the subject matter had depth. Vol.1 was a favorite for the Hip Hop purist and received its share of press on sites such as HipHopGame.com but Vol.2 (Project Soul) received high ratings from various Hip Hop magazines, websites and webzines including; MTV.com (mixtape Mondays), AllHipHip.com, BritishHipHop.Co.UK, Platform8470.com, Ragomagazine.com and several other well respected sites. With years of classic material and undeniable live performances, The Wonder Twins of the Windy City have decided that V3 (the 3rd and final installment of their C.H.W mixtape series) will be their last project as a collective. Heralded as pioneers themselves (in the Chicago music scene) Abstract Mindstate are arguably the only group in the city who has solid working relationships with established artists such as: Kanye West, Common, John Legend, David Banner and Hip Hop legend Special Ed, as well as die hard Chicago underground artists such as: All natural, Ang 13, Pugs Atomz and Profound. A.M are equally recognized and respected by Chicago's local and internationally known acts, with collaborations to prove it. Abstract Mindstate has paved the way for quality Hip Hop artists in Chicago and set a standard for live performance but bigger than that they are recognized internationally. Their catalogue includes a 7 song EP release (produced by legendary Chicago producer Andy C), a mishandled nationally released album (We Paid Let Us In), an unreleased album (Still Paying), five 12inch singles and a 3 part mixtape series entitled Chicago's Hardest Working. The group feels they have done all they can as an unsigned collective and are ready to try other things. There is no bad blood between the sibling-like duo of Olskool Ice-Gre aka Tha Gud Dr. and E.P The Hellcat aka The White Lotis, they're just exercising their options. Keep your eyes and ears open for solo work from both emcees in the very near future. Until then visit this page for up to date info.

(Charlotte, NC, May 8, 2007) --- Neblina Records announced they are releasing Rashid Hadee's (of Chapter 13) solo album, Dedication. Released in both physical and digital form, the album will be a total re-work of the Japanese version, which was released by P-Vine Japan in late 2005.

The US version of "Dedication" contains 14 tracks, the majority of which were produced by Rashid Hadee. Young Valentine (of Chapter 13) and Melatone tackle the remainder of the production. Expect to hear vintage Chapter 13 production reminiscent of classics such as "Watchin' My Moves" and "Demonz" on tracks like "Let Go", "Addiction" and "From Six to Seven".

With it's updated golden-era vibe, the first single, "Surrender" (featuring Manov War & DJ Resident) urges women to let go of their inhibitions and give their all to the two MCs. "You got a man, you need to ex your guy, or even keep him, me and you can even kick it on the weekend" flatly states Rashid, while DJ Resident deftly scratches Method Man in the chorus, demanding listeners to "reach for the sky".

Dedication is a musical journey through the unpredictable streets of Rashid's hometown, Chicago. The beat maker/MC emphatically states, "It's just like the most amazing city to me. The scenery, the people, the strive, the hunger, the hustle, the ladies, and just the emotion I peep daily from myself and other people all influence me musically and personally. Just like they say in the song "Respiration", I can feel the city breathing. That's real though, I just express everything through music and my everyday living..."

The talented producer has laced tracks for MCs such as Little Brother, Psalm One & Longshot, Thaione Davis and Manov War. He has also shared production duties with fellow Chi-town native Kanye West and produced songs for Abstract Mindstate that featured Common Sense and Special Ed.

Rashid's work has been featured on MTV.com, Hiphopsite.com, Hiphopgame.com, DJ Mag (UK), Stealth Magazine (Australia), Rapmullet.com, Violatordjs.com, Spitkickers.com, Hip-hop-elements.com, MVRemix.com, Out4Fame Magazine (Australia), Serie B Magazine (Spain), IGN.com, Platform8470.com, Webbeatz.de, Thick.com, Legacy Magazine and many more.

Available August 14th 2007 at Itunes.com, www.neblinarecords.com, and all major online retailers.
