Cap World's Cash For Clunker Caps

If you have an old truck cap, tonneau cover or toolbox, we encourage you to bring it to us as a clunker! In exchange, we'll give you a $100 discount toward the purchase of a NEW Fiberglass Cap, Fiberglass Tonneau, Construction Cap or Roll-N-Lock Cover. The $100 discount applies if you bring us an eligible clunker item, AND purchase one of the approved items.


What Qualifies as a Clunker?
All clunkers must be brought to the store while they're still on the vehicle. We will not accept a clunker if it's not installed at the time it's brought to the store. Qualifying items are:

Any Truck Cap
Any Tonneau Cover
Aluminum Toolbox

Cap World, Inc. was founded in 1985 when Company President, Charley Holden began selling truck caps at roadside locations. This practice evolved into our first retail location in Saugus, MA. Throughout the 1990's Cap World expanded in New England, adding stores in New England, adding stores in Westborough and Norwood, MA and Salem, NH.

Cap World looked further south for its next growth opportunity with the opening of a store in Orlando, FL in 1998. The following year, 1999 would prove to be one of explosive growth and tremendous business success for the company when a major wholesaler of accessory products decided to get out of the retail business. Cap World acquired five location: three in Maryland (Gaithersburg, Laurel and Waldorf) and two in Florida (Kissimmee and Sanford).

In 2003 we expanded in all regions! We opened a store in Winter Garden, FL; North Hampton, NH; Catonsville, MD and Sarasota, FL.

Just last month we opened our newest location in Orange Park, FL.  We are looking forward to continuing our expansion in the upcoming years!
