Dome Records in London has picked up the Album Storyteller and promotions on radio are starting, because of them, the entire international music community is catching on to the album... the reviews have been so positive that i sometimes wonder if they are talking about me or some other guy name Heston... I have reviews in english, french, spanish, dutch etc, most of which i cannot understand but know enough to know that they are great reviews!!! 102.2 Jazz Fm (London) just added "Distant Lover" to their playlist..YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, and so have many others, CROOZE F.FM-104.2 in Belgium also added "Distant Lover" "My Baby" and "Brand New You" and the list goes on... I cannot keep up with the attention that Dome Records is getting for the album from reviews to airplay... I just received the the Cd samples from SWANKY records who i signed to in Japan for the release of Storyteller as well for all of ASIA.. i was more excited to see the writing on the cd in a different language than anything else... In Japan, the album "Storyteller" was chosen as on of the best records for their cable broadcast program featuring 3 artist, i am in company. http://usen.com/modules/C/content0049.html (USEN CABLE BROADCAST.. For most and award nomination and or radio airplay, which, dont get me wrong are huge for me, things have not been bad since i released my debut album but i am quite excited about tomorrow, the 17th day of January 2009.... In my quest not to write an "Obama song" simply because i do not write on command or let me say that i have not, and also because every one seems to be writing one... but Friday of last week something came over me and a "Song for Change " came rushing in my head, i got on my bicycle, got the Piedmont park, (which is a place for me to write in peace lately) refused to answer my phone so as not to loose the melody and wrote this song... immediately i knew that i wanted to have children sing the hook... i called my engineer and good friend Marty, set up the studio, tracked the song earlier tonight, got a rough vocal recorded and God willing will have at least 40 young voices to help me make this song extra special tomorrow morning!!! They will be responsible for sing the hook and background vocals for "A Song For Change"... i cannot wait, i cannot tell you how excited i am for tomorrow to come, i do not think i have been that excited in a long time as it related to my music.. it thing when Angela Johnson and YahZarah were scheduled to do duets with me on my album was maybe the last time.. this is different and so special!!!!!.. i will release it right after it is mixed and mastered, so wish me luck... if you are in the Atlanta area have a child between 5 and 18 and would like to join the choir, please come to 800 East Studios, 800 East Avenue, Atlanta Ga, 30312, at 11 am Sharp...... my hands will be full... Some welcoming news... As the year ends and not knowing as an indie artist how the chips fall when it comes to music, i was pleasantly surprised to learn that Echoes Magazine one of London's Premier music Mag named my debut album Storyteller" to the top five Soul Albums of the year, and in the top 25 albums of 2008.. in mention with Al Green, Niki Costa, L Hathaway, and Kindred(top soul albums)... i am quite honored!!!!

Hello Friends!!!! The Bet J Virtual Awards, i did not get to see the show because i frankly do not have extended cable!! what a shame.. thank God, i will be on BET tonight.. i get to see it for the first time.. The result are in, Eric Roberson and Rahsaan Patterson tied to win the awards.. both and/or each of them are well deserving of the award.. just happy to be in the mention, with a debut album no more than three months old, with no major distribution, to be nominated for 'Best Underground Artist".. i am quite proud... With so many of us trying to do this thing called music, i could think of so many other well deserving artist that would have been deserving of the nomination, i feel blessed that i was chosen!!!!! thanks for all the votes..

I was on of the nicest things to have happend today... Michael Baisden inerviewed Beres Hammond on His show today.. Beres Hammond has been a huge influence of mine for many years and i know every word to his songs, even covered some of his songs at my concerts... This man, is so deserving of all the recognition that he will be getting form the wide listenership that the M Baisden show will bring... Made my day.. Good Night Friends..

The truth is my manager asked me to keep the news of the Dome deal in the UK a secret until everything was complete.... I tried, but i must admit, i did share it with a few people...how could he honestly as that of me.. This means i am able to reach the European and African markets, quite besides myself with all that is going on... Now all we have to work on is finding distribution here in the US, a great booking agent, other radio personalities like Michael Baisden who have vision, and as many ears to listen... i put this things into existance and live like they already happened, and for these things, I do receive... Last night, i was on the phone doing an interview with Michael Baisden ( still does not feel real), a 4 year long dream, to have a discussion about my music.. An interview that i have been dreaming of.. He has no idea how nervous i was... The truth is that this interview was rescheduled two times before and even with faith i started to wonder if it would happen, such a big opportunity, just really wanted it to happen... His producer, Miss Goodman (what a God send) was so kind to me over what seemed to be an eternity(a short few weeks), with the updates... what a kind young lady... i am forever thankful.. After speaking with him last night, i do not think that he knows the magnitude of his contribution to Artist like myself and many other like me.. the interview will air Friday between the hours of 3 and 7 pm...on the B-side... p.s.. a great new site to join is iseecolor.com... please check it out.. i absolutely love it.. like the words of Nancy Grace.. I live in a loft downtown Atlanta and some of us gather at the front desk to share ideas, thoughts, politics etc, we sometimes do it almost on a daily basis.. we walk in, stop at the security desk and hang.. last night like most nights i was hanging out at the desk when one of my neighbors congratulated me, i thought her was talking about the BET J nominations, or so i thought when he told me that he saw me in Ebony Magazine.. i did not believe him.. i longed to be in that mag ever since in can remember and had no idea.. needless to say, i got a couple of copies and quite honored to be in the Magazine... if you would like to check it out, it is the December issue with Tyra Banks on the cover page 22... please forgive me, quite excited.. Everything seems to be coming together, i is not a quick and simple process, so like i say all the time.. everything to do with STICKTOITIVENESS!!!! good night
