Category: Dreams and the Supernatural
Hello Blog land! Ralph, a seventh Son of a seventh Son (no girls!) has been telling some stories about growing up in remote Madison County, Western North Carolina's most rugged area. Sitting here now with "dial up", I think "Man! This is tough living!" But... Ralph's family didn't have electricity and the bathroom was a two holer outhouse with a Sears catalog for.. (well you get the picture. Ha!). Soo much for roughing it!! Music was an important part of the community back then, and his brothers were local radio stars. Ralph and the neighbors would gather around the "magical" battery powered radio box to hear their program. Live shows throughout the region were big events and Ralph joined in at six years old. His life reads like novel you can't put down, and he is getting together some things that I'll post for you. I'll get some help next time with my chicken peckin' (typing) and translations for the southern language. Love, Marty
