Just wanted to let you know that this morning, PSYCHO 3 writer Charles Edward Pogue shot an interview with us for THE PSYCHO LEGACY documentary! Our latest edition!

Seems we're adding people all the way up until the very last minute!

We'll have a few screengrabs and more news on the completion of the doc, as well as the first screening announcement shortly! (LA fans, be prepared!)

Thanks for sticking with us for so long and for being so patient. This independent venture has been a labor of love from the start. We knew it wouldn't be easy but we're almost at the finish line and our goal was always to preserve the PSYCHO legacy and the incredible work of not only all the tremendous talents involved in making all the films, but the memory of the great Anthony Perkins for giving us one of the most memorable on-screen cinematic characters ever.

Just when we think we're done with our cut of PSYCHO LEGACY, someone else comes along that we just have to incorporate. And in this case, it's a lovely actress I'd been trying to contact for the last year.

I'm proud to announce that Diana Scarwid who portrayed Maureen in PSYCHO 3 is now in THE PSYCHO LEGACY! We had a wonderful chat on camera about working with Anthony Perkins as both an actor and a director and she gave us some new PSYCHO 3 stories that I'd never heard before.

We've got one more PSYCHO 3 related interview lined up for next week that I'll keep you posted on. For now check out a few pics with Diana below!





THE PSYCHO LEGACY was at the American Film Market here in Los Angeles this week. There's a folder with pictures of all the promotional posters and items on this MySpace page. Check it out! Hopefully we'll have some concrete release news for you soon. Rest assured, THE PSYCHO LEGACY will be available for the 50th anniversary of the original next year.

Despite finishing a rough cut of THE PSYCHO LEGACY documentary, we're still picking up some last minute interviews to add & incorporate. So whom better then Mrs. Bates herself!

I'm proud to announce that today we shot an interview with actress Olivia Hussey, best known as the original Juliet in ROMEO & JULIET, and also from such films as MADRE TERESA, BLACK CHRISTMAS and STEPHEN KING'S IT. Of course, she was "mother" in PSYCHO IV: THE BEGINNING! We're so excited to have both her and Henry Thomas a part of the doc now! First thing's first - THE PSYCHO LEGACY is done! We've completed a 90 minute cut of the film that is off to our sales agent and they are working on details on how to get it out on DVD and on cable both in the US and in foreign territories. THANK you for your patience and support! I promise as soon as we lock things down, you'll all be the firsts to know!

And while the current cut is complete, we do have a few more surprise interviews we're going to snag and incorporate into the final film before you get to see it! (More on that next week.)

Here's a picture I snapped on my cell phone off the monitor for an animated sequence we just finished for THE PSYCHO LEGACY. We're probably about 2 days from completing the feature length cut of the documentary and I'm so, so thrilled.

I'm proud to announce that earlier today, we shot an interview with Mister Henry Thomas, whom of course played Norman Bates in PSYCHO IV: THE BEGINNING! Of course, Henry's been in a dozen of my favorite films including E.T., CLOAK & DAGGER, SUICIDE KINGS, FIRE IN THE SKY, DEAD BIRDS, FEVER, MOBY DICK and many, many more.

He gave us some great insight into tackling the role of Norman Bates for PSYCHO IV and we look forward to incorporating him into THE PSYCHO LEGACY documentary.
