I received some good news this week. This is a very special song to me.  It is a tribute to my Dad who passed away a couple of years ago.  He was a very strong yet humble, modest and most caring man.

Also a musician, he pushed aside that dream and returned to school to seek a more stable career when I was born.  He succeeded in becoming a highly respected civil engineer.  In my heart, I believe that his greatest success though was in raising my brother and me and by being the faithful and loving husband that he was to my Mom.  His tough surface far contradicted his warm and loving heart.

I have finally released a new song - Dad (The Highest Light).  It’s an acoustic track (vocal-guitar), and it is a tribute to my dad who passed away a couple of years ago. 

At this time, it is only available as a download at cdBaby.com. Within a week or so, it will also be available at Apple iTunes, Rhapsody and other numerous outlets.

 This is my 2nd blog ever - pretty funny for somebody who could sure talk alot:) I'd just like to say hello and express my gratitude to those of you who have been listening to my music.  I truly and greatly appreciate it.

 My song, The Days of Loving You has won its second award.  It took Honors in the Great American Song Contest 2007.  I also received a bit of additional good news yesterday.  The Dutch radio station, The Starliners nominated me for the third time for 2008 Artist of the Year.  The voting begins at the beginning of June.  I'd greatly appreciate your votes.  I'll provide the voting instructions as soon as I receive them.

I hope to be heading into the studio soon to begin recording my next CD and hope to have a single released by midsummer.
