Current mood: accomplished
The album is FINALLY done being written as of this morning. It took long enough, but it's certainly a very good piece of work. It consists of 12 tracks, and is currently 80 minutes and 3 seconds long (eek! Have to shorten it a bit, haha). Recording will begin this month and hopefully it will be released no longer than the middle of January.
If anyone is interested in the guitar pros of the songs, just message me, or reply here and I can send them to you. The album was written entirely with guitar pro.

Current mood:Grim
Dear Turds,
I guess it's time that I go into detail about the upcoming Ye Olde Relic LP for those who are or may be interested.
Concept: It will be entitled "The Four Seasons", which basically means it's very much nature inspired, both musically and lyrically. The music is my interpretations of the months (ie: the Summer months are somewhat happy and yeah, and the Winter months are grim and cold and kvlt and whatnot). Basically, I couldn't think of anything better and this stuck. It will contain one song for each month plus and intermission track, so that's thirteen tracks total clocking in around seventy minutes.
Style: The musical direction is pretty varied throughout the album. Like I mentioned, it's my aural interpretation of the months so the music changes as the album progresses. You can expect some Blind Guardian leads, Catamenia black metal, Agalloch melancholy, Devin Townsend epicness, etc, etc. Overall, it will be a melodic black metal/folk album, with some other genres coming in at times.
Release: There is no official date yet. However, I am still in the process of finishing the writing the music. I can estimate now that album will be finished and ready for listening around late fall. Luckily, the album will also be free and available on the internet to download. I will be making around fifty pressed, hard copies with full illustrations and liner notes, and those will probably be around ten dollars. Those will be the only physical copies made (except CD-Rs to be released at shows), unless Hell freezes over and a publisher would like to pay to release more CDs to make a profit.
If you have any interests or questions for the album, just send a message.
Line-up for the album:
James Parsons: Guitar, Vocals Tom Trombino: Guitar and Solos Ashton Parsons: Drums and Recording Steven Eiter: Vocals and Guitar Solos Dustin Miller: Bass and Keyboards
