the 3 WUB drum tracks went amazingly well. one of the songs is HAULING...i mean fast, 240 beats per minute! for all you non-musicians, that means...its really fucking fast! TIM IS KILLING ON DRUMS. the kid keeps getting better and better. the shit is killer as hell and i'll be laying down the rest of the tracks soon.

ive also been talking to kurt bachman from the legendary and recently reformed BELIEVER. it seems as though i may be laying down some guest solos and or vocals for their new record. BELIEVER have been one of my favorite bands for 20 years so this is really exciting for me. check out the 3 records they did in the 90's...all 3 are works of genius.

i've been emailing with matt deis and he is indeed very ill...his back is a mess. he seems to be in good spirits and joked about how he can park wherever he wants now! either way, i'm glad to finally have been in touch with him.

while i finish up the world under blood record, i'll be touring with MALEVOLENT CREATION as 2nd guitarist. they have some tours coming up overseas in the fall, but there might be some american dates soon including possibly the new england festival coming up. hopefully we can get on that and i can see you all again!

a WORLD UNDER BLOOD tour is an obvious plan as well for this year too...i cant wait to get together with tim luke and risha and see how devestating this shit is when we play it.

the time has come to head back into the studio in early april and lay down 4 new WUB tracks. the 4 of us are really amped on the last song i wrote, i think it'll end up being the best one i've ever written in my life. there's also one thats pretty fast, in fact i'm thinking maybe its a bit too fast...which means its perfect. we're also going to do some covers...the definite one we're doing is megadeth's "wake up dead" which we all agree to be one of the best metal songs of all time.

to be honest, this wasnt the BIG news...but you'll know soon enough.

i'm still waiting on some news myself. when i say i know NOTHING, that means i really know...nothing. i have not heard from anyone at all since that st. lois show when that shit went down. i have tried to get in touch with those guys but they are not ready to speak to me as they are still understandably pissed off at me. its frustrating for everyone but for me it especially sucks because i am no longer that person that caused that trouble. in any event i hope we can finally finish the masterpiece that we started and get out touring again. thats all i can say.

im testing out this snocap thing. if it works well i'll post the other songs.

hey all...ive been away for a while straightening some stuff out...today im one month sober and have never felt better in my life seriously. for a couple weeks i went through major depression withdawling from drugs and now im in the middle of trying to move the family into a bigger house and ready to come back stronger than ever. its not going to be hard for me to stay clean and that is quite a relief for me. thanks to everyone for their concern and anyone that wrote in with support. no more drama no more negativity. its good to be back. have a great holiday

i cant tell you how happy i am to see world under blood becoming so widely appreciated. along with everyone else, i waited patiently for "under the autumn low" to be completed. the reason i had no problem waiting was because i knew murphy would do his best job ever mixing it and we all held out and we were right. the song fucking rules! james murphy really came through on this track and now i realize that i have a stable team working together to make WUB's first album as sickening and dispicable as possible. tim yeung's amazing drumming is going to make our first cd as punishing as possible. logan mader is an amazing enigineer/producer and i feel very comfortable working with him. risha is a fucking nut on stage....im as pumped as can be and luke jaeger is a phenomenal guitarist who will put us WAY above the competition. i cant wait for this album to come out. there are 7 more songs being worked on and we will most likely be signing with the world's favorite METAL label in the next coming months. of course, there will be cover songs recorded for the album that will feature my favorite malevolent creation favorites among others. i also hope to get bret hoffman, john tardy, and phil from "all that remains" to do a brutal quartet vocal on one of the new songs coming up..."why won't you die"....

the viva la bands tour is going great. different cities, different venues (very different), different fans, and different weather, but so far its a blast. i cant wait to get home and finish the next cky record!

WUB will always have blast beats, as fast as i can get them, and our songs will always end up sounding the way i want them to sound, and i dont care what anyone thinks. im just making the metal that i want to hear. CKY makes the rock that we want to hear, fuck the critics....and if you can still complain about bands that do things the way they want to; yet support bands that are pushed by record companies to change what they have passion for just to increase numbers, then that is a very sad, sad way to view music and be a fan of it.
