take your ripped tank top, skinny jordache, capri menthols, white belt, and tsunami of hair and carry your ass back to your aunt kathys couch until next year.

at that point, im sure the mohawk will close us down again to let you all back in to talk about bowies vision for the apocalypse, joy divisions impact on foreign policy, how everything is a dylan rip off which is a guthrie rip off, and how amy winehouse is the future of music. until then, we need to make room for drinkers and good timers.

so for now, day drinking is the new black and its fucking back. strap on your boozin boots and have a mid day whiskey, gnaw on a beef jerky, and arm wrestle a hot bartender for sweaty cash. youll have some dough for gamblin, because the drinks are so damn cheap. take a load off at the grizzly after work...listen to some muddy waters...and help us bring day drinking back to the people who earned it = the american workin man.

The Grizzly Bar @ Mohawk will be booking shows on occasion for the 5PM to 8PM inside stage timeslot. You can contact us through myspace with links. We are looking for delta blues, slide guitar, old country (not new country), and whiskey music. Whiskey music is the shit you ramble to. We dont know how else to characterize it...damn, it just makes a man want to cry and arm wrestle all at the same time. The sort of stuff that Philo Beddoe was made of. Its the kind of music that turns a cuddler into a rambler. Anyway, if you dont play this sort of music, there are plenty of joints in town that will book you. We're just not one of em.
