Head's Up: Sarah has a couple impersonators here on myspace. As flattering as that is it's still frustrating because you never know how an impersonator can misrepresent you or give people a bad impression of you. As well as, it's not fair to the people that think they are talking to the real Sarah and are getting some other random person. Let's all be ourselves. Don't be fooled by the fakes: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=62070683 http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=22816897

ps- If you know of any other Sarah impersonators feel free to let us know:)

We've been practicing non-stop lately and I'm loving it! We are playing this Saturday at The Black Cat in DC with Outrageous Cherry and Electric 6. I couldn't believe we got to play there in the first place, now we get to play there again! Rob got a new drum kit and OOOOOO it's B-E-A-U-tiful. It's a Tama starclassic performer, sounds amazing. Well of course it would, Rob's sitting behind it. It seems there's no end to all of the good things we have going on. We're releasing a single on Ultragrrrl's Stolen Transmission label which should be out somewhere around the end of October. It's totally exciting. One of my favorite DJs and Producers, Junior Sanchez is doing a remix of Heart Attack! I can't wait to hear what he does. He's so talented! We've also got our first out of state show coming up October 14th. We're playing The Milestone in Charlotte with a band called Babyshaker. If you can make it to Charlotte you should come. I'd love to see some new faces and meet some new folks. I'm going to get to rehearsal now. I'll see you at the show!

So we've been practicing our hearts out, recording, getting ready for our show July 1st (you're coming right?). Things are sounding awesome! I can't wait for you to hear us. Band practice is the most fun thing I do all day. I love the guys! I usually don't want practice to end. I'm so excited for the show! I have to go...but...I'll see you at the show!

So we've been busy working in the studio. It's such a cool process. I've never done any of this before and I love learning about it. I know what the music is supposed to sound like and I know what playback is but then whenever someone uses complicated studio talk I just look at AC, then he explains. *haha* Hopefully by the end of recording I'll understand what the producer is talking about without AC translating. We've got a bunch of songs written now. I just wrote another song the other day that I LOVE! I can't wait to record it! I just want to hear it while I'm not singing it, you know:)
We have a show coming up too! Ever since the first time I went to the Black Cat I've wanted to be in a band and play there. So this is a BIG DEAL for me. I think about it all the time. I'm so excited! All I ever think about is our music and the show. Although sometimes the girly girl part of my brain kicks in and I catch myself thinking "What shoes am I gonna wear?" *haha* Who cares? I just wanna rock:) I hope everyone will come see us and our friends The Whips and The Hard Tomorrows play. The Black Cat is such a great place to see a show! Especially this one:) It's all ages too.
You MUST check out the 2 other bands that are playing that night. The Whips are what we talk about when we talk about rock, so be prepared. Basically the definition of rock music. The Hard Tomorrows are an addiction that sneaks up on you. At first you like them n think they're great and then after a while you're day isn't complete unless you've listened to them. Atleast, that's how it happened to me. Check their websites okay:)

If you need anymore info about the show or want to purchase tickets in advance go to the Black Cat website.

I just wanted to take a minute here and echo Sarah's sentiments. I want to thank each and every one of you for all the support you've been giving us. You Rule! Speaking of people that rule, some awesome folks out there have put together some fansites and message boards for Her Daily Obsession. Check them out!
Now for an update: HDO will be heading into the studio May 5th with our favorite Uncle Punchy to begin recording our upcoming full length album. We will also be re-recording "Heartattack". I've been writing like crazy for you guys and I can't wait for you to hear the new stuff. I just hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I've enjoyed writing it........
Much Love,
AC

Okay, I know I'm excited when I start to write something and restart it over and over again. Here goes...I want to thank everyone for all of the nice comments and messages that you have been sending us. Everyday I'm blown away when I check our e-mails and our myspace mail. Not to quote Gwen Stefani but "I'm just a girl" and to read the awesome things all of you have been saying really makes my day. We are heading into the studio soon and I'm so excited! Working hard with my friends making music is such a good time. I can't wait to have more music for you guys to check out! Anyway, stay tuned ...
