Hey thanks for all the support out there. I’m definitely doing better—two pounds lighter and in Madrid now for fashion show castings! I am so lame I couldn’t do any diets that required self-control but I am trying to eat smaller meals (like tonight I’m having olives and a Coke in my hotel room—haha). Anyway, thanks again!!

Five pounds. That’s it. Just five. How can five pounds send everyone into such a tizzy? So I got my heart smashed into tiny little pieces and wanted to relax for a few days and drown my sorrows in the delicious vanilla-and-candy flavors of Karmel Sutra. Does that mean I should be in danger of losing my career? No. But I am. Or at least it feels that way.

When you have a best friend for like 95% of your life, you expect certain things. You expect him to be completely honest with you, you expect to know what he means when he says he loves you, you expect him to clue in when you’re feeling heartsick and vulnerable. And you expect him to not like it when someone blows in his ear, which is something we always thought was completely gross. You expect him not to change.

I feel like the older sister in Dirty Dancing. And not because my eyebrows are too thick. When you think you’re in love with someone—when you are in love with someone—and they betray you, where do you turn? My solution so far today—day 13 since said betrayal occurred—has been a Real World marathon and two pints of ice cream (both karamel sutra, ironically). I’ll probably never have sex. Ever. But worse, I’ll probably never have someone to love who really loves me back.
