I thought about this yesterday as I was driving back to work late in the afternoon. Proliferating, the pontificated piously pompous selfish narcissism of humanity is to procure a position at the pinnacle of ignorance. So pressure passionately & powerful to selflessness, pushing perpetually toward positive change. Pursue love, produce gentleness & praise God.

I want to start by saying I hate country music but I can listen to it. I don't mind the old country and bluegrass, but the new stuff just cuts deep. While I was waiting on Moms car to be checked out at the repair shop, I saw this viedo on CMT. Yes, I know, why continue to watch it? Well I couldn't change the channel and even if I had the remote I probably would have kept it on. The song is very close to how I feel right now. I can't shake the memories, I can't help but wonder how it could have been fixed. I'm constantly talking with friends and family who keep telling me I need to move on and live my life. It's going to be alright they say.
But this time of the year is bad for me. She just left... She didn't even make a serious attempt to work on the problem with me. Just a bunch of lies and empty promises. I do have to say, though, that I have not sank into "the bottle" like the song implies for Garth. And in fact I have actually gone the other way. Even though I have been moving back into the church it's still hard and pains my heart. To know that I will be able to move on, eventually, and still see the future pain that the boys will inevitably have to deal with.
Well, I guess it's time to check on the car and see how things are going.

You have got to be freaking kidding me! Here is the post from Gizmodo.com... If you have ever tried to play the guitar using drumsticks, you were probably drinking the same paint thinner as I was drinking, because it's impossible*. Unless you are playing with Guitar Hero III. And you have a custom midi controller designed to play as it if you were drumming. And you kick ass playing drums. But then, you would probably be the crazy guy who recorded himself in this amazing video just to show that he can a) replace Animal in The Muppets and b) beat the crap out of you playing Guitar Hero III using sticks. [ College Humor — Thanks Jon B.] * Yeah, I know it's not impossible. Actually, just a few days ago here in Williamsburg, Christy—from the weird and wonderful Christy & Emily, get their album—left me speechless with her amazing live—and real—guitar performance, which included a drumstick in a song.

So I was reading about this new camera from Panasonic called the G1 and aside from the awesome fact that it will be served in multiple colors... i.e. RED... they had some pictures of it at a trade show. It's always really cool to see a device taken apart, but it's even cooler when it's done with showmanship. Exploded ViewBlog Post

"How to think faster, better on your feet" I already do this at times, but it's really cool to get the whole effect. I never thought about going to an improv class to help better an interview... or it to move a conversation along. Great idea, now all I have to do is remember to look for free improv classes. p.s. I found this little caveat to chew on for directing meetings, here.

Category: Writing and Poetry
I wrote this down cause it just came to me... it's kinda rough, really rough and I'll polish it up soon. Just throwing it out there... and you can throw it back if you want.... Assumed Destinations Destroyed I look over this sea of Pain I'm looking for the destination Verily I find it and set the course Only roaming to my imagination A storm rolls in and I'm lost The sky falls and desperation avails My eyes strain in all directions To succeed we set out sails The storm clears and the boats sway I revel in the peace and see the course We sing "Huzzah" as we breech this day Once the merriment dies we see our site I realized in dismay that we are off course In our speedy landing, we've damaged the ship No options exist, but to stay the course Assumptions rise and there in we cast our chips The chips fall to the east, to the sun We march and march all so happy to stay The hilltop is reached and joy... is a gun... We stare down it's barrel, slowly backing up Patiently we stratagize our next move The shortest path is to the East Hearts fall in despair and hearts sink No warning, spirits rise... they rise to fight the beast This beast strong and fierce stalks its prey Just then we see the hostage behind this monolith "A Damsel!" one says. With all heart we pray Don't be in dismay as we tear down this foe The fighting rages and we have lost a few Our men regroup with shields and spears The damsel speaks... but no sound flows Her wish for us to leave, would only bring tears
We, with deep respect for the victim... fall back "No rerouting the course!" we yell. This is our only need Sound, echos from "her" and she justifies the beast We echo "it's" future fall. We yell, "I'll just slow my speed!"
We turn back to our camp to plan a heading Our way is blocked with no option of breaking We rest with broken hearts from the beating And so we wait tolerant and listening
