Greetings to one and all!

Here in the US we're celebrating the Thanksgiving Holiday...which basically means we get to stuff our faces & bellies with roast turkey, stuffing, pumpkin & apple pie, among other things fattening and delicious. You don’t get up from the table until cholesterol is dripping out of every pore of your body.

Thanksgiving, as the word implies, is also a time of giving thanks. We would especially like to give thanks to all of our friends here on MySpace for their friendship & support and we wish you & your families the best of Holidays!

U ROCK!!!

It's finally here...this hump day ushers in the Holiday Season with the Big Turkey Day tomorrow!

Families will gather together to share a meal and give thanks for all those present and for some who aren't...and with that thought in mind we decided to give thanks to those past and present for this Hump Day Heroes Thanksgiving!

There are a great many players in this week's edition who have inspired our playing with their talent and creativity. We've poured over their records & cds, struggling to find the notes & riffs they created. To all of them we give our heartfelt thanks for feeding our passion...now pass the pumpkin pie!

Here’s this Wednesday’s lineup
11/25/09: Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Duane Allman, Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, Keith Richards, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Lindsey Buckingham, Roger McGuin, Lowell George, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Dave Gilmour, Jaco Pastorius, Brent Mason, Susan Tedeschi, Tony Levin, Marcus Miller, James Taylor, Ani DiFranco, Jerry Garcia, Orianthi, Neil Finn, Glenn Tilbrook, Angus Young & Tommy Tedesco

It's 11/11...a great date in Hump Day History...because it was on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month that World War I came to an end. So today is the 11th day of the 11th month of 2009 making it Veterans Day Hump Day Heroes!

It's that kind of logic that makes this Country great!

Here’s this Wednesday’s lineup

Last week was quite a week for celebrating...the NY Yankees won the World Series for the 27th time on Wednesday, given a parade on Friday and we kept celebrating right thru the weekend...with the marriage of our very own Bruce Engler and his beautiful bride Kim!

Most of us didn't think Bruce would ever take the plunge after all these years of bachelorhood...and if he ever did, who would be the woman to finally make an honest man out of him??

I remember we were working on the cover art for the "Read The Signs" cd and Bruce came down to the beach house to finalize which cover to go with...but he seemed more interested in talking about this new lady that he was very taken with...she seemed to come out of nowhere...and we're happy she did...and so is Bruce!

Congrats & best wishes to Bruce & Kim on a very happy & healthy life together...all the best guys--you deserve it!

Now that we've finished with our celebrating, we can put down a few words about the great week that was...

Last week the NY Yankees returned to where they belong--on top of the Baseball World by winning their record 27th World Championship!

It's been 9 long years since they beat the Mets in the 2000 Subway Series...something we were expecting a few more of...but that might be a long time coming again with the way the Mets have imploded...

This was a great year for the Yankees and especially their fans, with the opening of the new Yankee Stadium, and the way the Yankees got it together after the All Star break to make their run on the AL East and overtake the Boston Red Sox...even sweeter by finally beating the Angels in the playoffs to win their 40th AL Pennant!

The World Series was the icing on the cake with the win over the defending champion Philadelphia Phillies...especially the warm serving of humble Pie to Phillies shortstop Johnny Rollins, who predicted the Phils in 5!

The celebrating started with the final out on Wednesday night and continued with the parade thru the Canyon of Heroes on Friday...congrats & many thanks to the World Champion NY Yankees for giving us a great year!
