            FIRST OFF:

First off, I would like to start by thanking the awesome party goers at our last basement Berkeley show.  Thank you for showing support and giving off that great rock-out vibe energy.  Parties are always the most fun and most enjoyable for us, and hopefully for the fans. The smaller the room, the greater the rock.  But, before I start making any less sense, it is time to plug our booking ideals.

 WHAT WE WANT:

If you plan on throwing a party, and you are looking for a band to destroy your ear drums, our favorite shows are the completely unorganized, and impossible to manage party mayhem events.  THiNK AliKE is somewhat mobile, and we have all the necessary gear, so if you make the request, we will do our best to come to your town and rock your living/dinning rooms, basements, kitchens, backyards, what have you.  There is nothing like a bunch of drug induced, hormone enraged individuals jumping around wildly to a just as drunk, hormonal enthused band.  The endorphins just go wild when there is that much personality between the crowd and the band.  So, again, if you have a house, and you plan to party, we will provide!

TA is still working on a demo, I have been making a few pre-production tracks on garage band that I have posted.  "Experts Game" and "Our Present Time" have show cased just the bare minimum of what the tracks will eventually amount to.  We are working out some recording deals with different engineers and studios, and with each member of the band more broke than the next, it's been difficult.  But we continue to play more and more shows to eventually raise enough funds for a 5 song demo, and then to press that demo into a million copies for our hungry, rock starved listeners.

WHAT YOU WANT:

The more feedback we get from you guys, the better we are able to supply for all your needs.  So if you have any suggestions on promotion ideas, art work, shows, music compliments, constructive criticism, anything, the more the better.  THiNK ALiKE tries desperately to stay in touch and thank all fans and people interested.  So never hesitate to ask questions, make requests, or leave feedback, all is appreciated and every message is read.  After all, it is the people that like the music that are the most important to the movement and development of bands.

UNRELATED:

In other news, TA will be organizing long and tiring bike rides all over the Los Angeles area.  BiKE ALiKE will be a group working to put together a team of riders to promote environmentally friendly transportation, good exercise, and good clean fun.  Let us know if you want in, we welcome people of all ages and all bikes.  So far the members include:

DAMON KELLARD

Look for bulletin posts for these rides soon, and message us to be added to the team… A Myspace for this will be available soon

Again, thanks to everyone who come to the shows, and to those who give support, we are trying harder and harder each day to bring Synth Rock to the hard working people. PEACE!

Think Alike is a bit out dated if you have not noticed, but I have now found time in my busy schedule to update the few that care to read. Particularly for our one Blog Subscriber Andres! thank you my friend... Enjoy
Think Alike is now once again in motion after a long semi-hiatus-after-show-break-up. With the small success of our first venue show at the Roxy (Theater for Douce Bags) the band was once again disbanded. But in more recent events, new members have been collected out of the dust and reminence of the highly acclaimed and highly rocking Device Lights Up and/or Werewolf with Robot Hands. We are proud to welcome the very skilled, and professionally trained guitar/keyboard work of Kevin Crooks, and the unimaginable, mind exploding drum techniques of David Kitz. So with that said, I welcome to you, again, Think Alike and its new members. So if you have a band and would like to play shows, we are starting our schedule for summer, and would be more than willing to play with just about anyone... So the dates for the most recent events are as follows:

BAND WEBSITE - UP AND RUNNING BY THE END OF THIS MONTH
THINK ALIKE EP - WILL BE AVAILABLE SHORTLY AFTER THE RELEASE OF THE WEBSITE
THINK ALIKE AT THE TROUBADOUR - SOMETIME SOON
THINK ALIKE AT THE KNITTING FACTORY - SOME OTHER TIME
THINK ALIKE AT SOME RANDOM HOUSE PARTY - THATS A GOOD IDEA (let us know)
THINK ALIKE AT SOME WEAR HOUSE - THAT WOULD BE REALLY COOL TOO
THINK ALIKE AT THE WILTERN - FUCK THAT

Anyway you get the picture, there will be quite a bit of improvements very soon, so keep looking back this summer, and in the meantime take a look at a review of some of our music by June Caldwell right here...

Last Saturday Think Alike recorded professionally for the first time, and the results don't exactly suit the bands power of head exploding rock and or roll, but the song is still there, so enjoy.
Think Alike also has big plans for big parties, so make sure to be checking the myspace frequently as these things will be posted shortly
