'Theme from S'Express' has been voted as one of the top 10 greatest dance records of all time!

You can tune into Radio 2 on Tuesday July 1st, 11.30pm to see which position it makes in the countdown plus hear me ranting about the record's creation.

You can also hear the stories behind such classics as Rhythim is Rhythim's 'Strings of Life', Fingers Inc.'s 'Can You Feel It' and James Brown's 'Sex Machine'.

Actor Jimi Mistry ('East Is East', 'The Guru', 'Blood Diamond') being a bit of a fanatic about dance music has been making a documentary film about clubbing where loads of your key DJs, including Mark Moore, have been interviewed. Mark says: "Jimi's a real diamond and a mighty fine actor. You can see why, in all seriousness, people were petitioning for him to be the next James Bond! I'm looking forward to the completion of his film."

Meanwhile 'Theme From S'Express' will be featured in two upcoming movies. British movie 'Cass' is the true story of Cass Pennant - a six foot five football hooligan whose identity struggle and eventual redemption as best selling black author is portrayed. Sounds like a cult classic to us! Next up is French film 'Nos 18 Ans', a comedy about being young and foolish in the 80's.

Last year, Dunhill designer and top man about town Kim Jones created a t-shirt for Uniqlo inspired by Mark and S'Express.

You can get them here for the bargain price of £9.99:

Kim Jones: "I took inspiration from S'Express. I was thinking about Mark Moore quite a lot when I was doing it." Jones' design includes lyrics, "There are lyrics from 'Mantra For A State Of Mind' and other songs that are my favourites. It's really just about having fun."

Richard Norris (from The Grid) has written a Paul Oakenfold biography. It is also a very informative look at the history of clubbing from the early 80's onwards and includes many quotes and eye witness reports from Mark Moore as well as other players from the dance scene. Book of the month!

Here is the full picture by the very talented Gozra which Mark has used as his mySpace profile pic (complete with the lovely Polly Fey on his lap). Also a pic of Pete Burns & Mark at Gozra's photographic exhibition. There are also rumours of a Pete Burns and Mark Moore collaboration. More news when we have it.

Been out a while but check the wonderful mix CD 'Stunners 130' by Akira The Don & Wade Crescent. It's a blast and includes the marvelous mash-up 'If I Was S'Express I'd Fucking Sue The Klaxons'! That Klaxon's bassline does sound very familiar!

S'EXPRESS - 'STUPID LITTLE GIRLS' ON KITSUNÉ!

Latest news is that there will be a new S'Express single!

Why has Mark Moore revived S'Express from cryogenic slumber?

Mainly to confuse the history writers on the 20th anniversary of Acid House!

Titled 'Stupid Little Girls' it will be coming out on the wonderful Kitsuné label.

Right now you can get a taste of it in it's JBAG remix incarnation on the new BoomBox compilation CD (OUT NOW!) from Kitsuné (mixed by the delightful Jerry Bouthier).

Mark has collaborated with Kinky Roland Faber on this project while vocals are by the gorgeous Gene Serene.

Also look out for an S'Express remix of The B-52s 'Quiche Lorraine'

and Soft Cell's 'Chips On My Shoulder'!
