This is my personal favourite slice of pie music at this time:

Hold on to your hats, Saturday 18th July sees the biggest and most exciting event on the Pie calendar for 2009. As well as being a celebration of the 40th anniversary of Woodstock, it is also a chance for us to promote our new album, share the stage with some of our bestest friends in music and promote the valuable work of those super guys at AIM. Performing with us will be Ottersgear, who took the Holmfirth Festival of Folk by storm in May, Trent Burton, the singing psychologist (it's funnier than it sounds), Chai, the latest incarnation of Holmfirth High School alumnus Ben Thomas and of course no self-respecting gig would be complete without a few tunes from Jimmy "No Pants" Dare. The whole thing takes place in the beautiful surroundings of the North Light Gallery at Armitage Bridge. Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for under 18's and are available from the venue, Sid's Cafe in Holmfirth, Wall of Sound Records in Huddersfield and online at www.piestock.co.uk. Don't eat too much tea before you come - pie and peas will be on sale courtesy of Nosh restaurant in Almondbury. Don't miss out - in 40 years time people will be saying "If you can remember Piestock, you weren't there."

We get requests for the lyrics and music for our songs quite a bit now and it made me think.., wouldn't it be fucking awesome if people playing our songs filmed themselves singing their cover versions and then uploaded the film to youtube.  We could then link to them from our website and create a 10x10 (100 total) pieces of pie coverage.  Have already put one example up on our website www.oldmanpie.net
If this sounds like a laugh and you want to give it a go..get in touch.  Or just do it anyway.  We don't mind piss takes either.., the more the merrier!  This pie is for sharing.

It seems we over stepped the mark with our harmless over 18s game 'Mr Mucky Pest Controller' and has now been removed from the site in question.  The problem lies with the sex pests who ejaculate all over the pest controller if you let them get too close!  It was a joke and made us laugh.., but these days the TV execs are jittery and the lawyers are stepping in.  I blame the Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand debacle for making everyone lose their sense of humour.  Nothing to fear but fear itself!

We are proper chuffed that the new game 'Mr Mucky The Pest Controller' is now front paged and featured at the new Channel 4 website. Check it out here:

www.4mations.tv

And the people responsible for promoting the new web site have also reliably informed us Mr Mucky is going to be 'seeded' all over the interweb.  Now there's something that the mucky fella will enjoy!
