Fuck me flying is boring. Hong Kong however is amazing. Despite only having three nights there, we managed to get a lot of the tourist things done.
Over the five or six days (can't work it out) I think practically every mode of transport other than a bus was used. Train to Heathrow, plane to HK, cab to insanely fancy hotel, train to get to a part of the city where we then caught a cable car up to see Buddha, tram to get to the peak of HK island, crazy outdoor escaltors up throught the city, boat (Star Ferry) over to HK island. Can't think of any more, but it seemed like everything other than a skeedo.
Anyway, absolutely amazing place, I'll try get some pictures up at some point from my brothers phone (parents continued on with the camera). Was so tempted to buy a laptop, £800 for one that costs £1300 over here, but everyone convinced me not to due to the fact that if something went wrong, getting it back would be a bitch (although I argued that it'd still cost less overall).
Not been feeling great since I've been back. 14 hours of re-circulated air really did it for me, especially when sitting next to the brother that was coughing away. Felt dizzy and generally feeling like crap since being back, but a few days of rest have worked a charm. Just got a lot of stuff to catch up on now.
My brother bought a PS3 for £300 (with 'Need for speed carbon' and controllers and shit) so that seems a bit mental, but the game has already been completed and the machine will only work with games from HK and America, so when he gets another game it's going to take a while to come.
Having passed the first semester of the final year at Uni I feel it's now time to knuckle down and get some proper work done. Myself and a couple of friends having to put on a performance somewhere in May or June if anyone fancies coming along. It'll no doubt be around Clapham (you won't get shot), possibly in a cinema or local pub or just in the Uni, not sure yet. It's going to be filmed though, so if it's any good I'll try and get a copy and shove it up here.
