Hey Foxx Fans - hope you’re all well - and enjoyed an Egg-tasticEaster!

Wanted to update you with what’s happening in the world of the Foxx - and invite you all to our next London gig, on Tuesday 12th May.

Basically we’ve spent the past six months talking to record companies. It’s a really long process, with lots of people to chat to - and a tricky business finding the right home - but, without giving too much away, there are a couple of major labels who’re currently considering adding a foxxy girl group to their books. Once we’re signed, we can start thinking about releasing our music - which we know you’ve been after for a while!!

Stonefoxx at Miss Top Model UK 2009 Grand Final

Talking about music - we’ve also been working really hard finding some great new tunes… and we’ve been to all corners of the Earth looking for collaborators - literally! We’ve got an amazing track lined up from the same people behind songs for The Saturdays… and another pinched off a top American star! Still, that’ll all have to remain a bit of a mystery until the deal’s are all done and dusted. But watch this space!

Alongside songs and meetings, we’ve been out and about at London venues, getting ourselves seen. There have been some great gigs already this year - most recently a performance at the grand final of Miss Top Model 2009 - which was fantastic, and a special night at Cafe de Paris. Take a look at the photos from those events, taken by Colin Chau Photography. Our clothes were styled by fashion house Bernshaw… and jewellery came courtesy of Amelia Payne. Thank you all so much - we think it looked fab! Thank you as well to Glenn, our choreographer, who’s been keeping us all in check - the moves really work with the songs!

So… the next place you’ll be able to catch us is at the re-launch of music showcase Pop-Rocktic! on Tuesday 12th May, at Embassy club in Mayfair. It’s about a year since we last gigged there, and the place is well suited to live music. We’d love to see you - so do pop down to 29 Old Burlington Street, Mayfair, London, W1S 3AN. Doors are at 7pm. Entry is £8 or £6 B4 9pm on our guest list. Drop us a line on info@stonefoxx.com for guest list places.

In the last month we’ve also become fully paid up Twits… you can follow us here: www.twitter.com/stonefoxxmusic

And, o
ne last thing, if you’re not already signed up for our newsletter, make sure you drop your email address to us, using the sign-up box on our main MySpace page. That way you’ll hear about all the updates before anybody else.

Thanks for staying in touch - and please do let us know what you think about the songs… and the pictures... and what you’re up to. We love to hear from you.

All love,
Gem, Stacy & Lizzy

Hey Foxxy people!!

Hope you had a fantastic Christmas - and a Happy New Year! Thought we'd take a little time to let slip a few plans for the early part of 2009.

One of the highlights for January is an appearance on BBC Switch's, The 5:19 show. Following in the footsteps of McFly & The Saturdays, we'll be chatting with Tom on the sofa... and performing live. You can catch this as it's broadcast on Jan 22nd, or we'll post the show online to check straight after.

If you'd like to come to a gig, there's a couple of dates in the diary already. The big London event is a performance at brand new music showcase, The Spotlight Project, on Monday 26th January. Also lined up later this month is a gig with X-factor finalists, Austin and Laura, at The Colosseum in Watford. We'll be there on Sunday 18th.

Next up, details of a competition we're taking part in, run by vodafone and MTV. We really need your votes for this, so please help us out by visiting: http://www.mtv-vodafonesoundbites.com/uk/fast-track.php?bandname=stonefoxx&sortby=0 - registering yourself with the site and then giving our song 5 stars! Love ya!

On to the music... and we've now got the majority of an album together. Special thanks to Chris & Chris in London, and the Dsign Music team in Norway, who've pulled a couple of stunners out of the bag! Hope to work with you all again soon.

Finally, we'd like to take a moment to thank everyone who's been so supportive of us in 2008. Special thanks go to Peter Robinson at Popjustice for making both Cruel Goodbye and Crystal Clear his "Song of the Day", Louis Walsh for having us perform on Shayne Ward's arena tour (for free!), James Dagwell for the excellent BBC E24 feature, Paul Lester (The Guardian), Paul Kramer (Hit Sheet), James Masterton (Yahoo! Launch), Gerard (Unreality Music), Mark Carey (Hard Rock Cafe), POB, My Fizzy Pop, Igor Scopelliti, Scandipop, Vasilios, Mandymoo, Tribal Spaceman, Katie Bruce, Unnameable... and everyone else who's shown a bit of encouragement by leaving messages on our MySpace, Bebo, Facebook or YouTube pages... and spurring us on, in what is a very tough industry to crack.

Here's to 2009!

Lizzy Williams took some time out from the recording studio to talk about her best bits of the year, xmas plans + thoughts on the X Factor!

What's been your hightlight for 2009?

My highlight of this year has got to be the Shayne Ward arena tour! I had the best time of my life (so far). Being on stage every night for a month in front of all those thousands of people was an amazing feeling and I felt right at home! Now I can't wait for the Stonefoxx tour!!!!

How's Christmas shaping up for you?

Xmas this year is all about my family! I'll be at home with everyone including the newest addition to the family, baby Frankie!! He's my gorgeous nephew. I've also got family coming over from America so it's gonna be a busy house, I think xmas day there's 13 of us for dinner!!

What are you hoping for from Santa?

This year I hope santa will bring me my very own recording studio!!!!! So whenever I get ideas for a song I can walk in there and record it myself!!!!

What's your all-time favourite Christmas classic?

My favourite xmas song is Mariah Carey, 'all i want for christmas'. I love this song soooooo much, I listen to it all year round! lol It means a lot to me because it was my first proper singing solo at school; I sang it in the middle of St Pauls church in covent garden to the public. It's a moment I will never forget!

Finally, now it's all over, what do you reckon to this year's X-Factor?

I really enjoyed this year's X Factor, I thought there were some strong contestants! I'm glad Alex won, she has a pure talent and deserved the recognition! I also loved Austin too. He had a srong voice, I thought he should have gone further in the competition.

Thanks Lizzy! And Austin has been lined up to perform alongside Stonefoxx at The Soho Revue Bar on Monday 26th January.

Hey peeps, stacy here!

Well, we've just finished a very long, busy couple of weeks here in Foxx camp, starting with our trip to Norway. I arrived home from my hols last Mon and emptied everything out of one case into another, ready to jump on the plane again the following morning! We had a very good flight this time, no Mr Snorer to Lizzy's relief and all managed to get a quick gossip in before we touched down in Trondheim - officially the smallest airport ever, but not to worry, we got our shopping done in the duty free on the way home from Olso!

From the airport we met Robyn and headed straight over to the studio to talk tracks and meet the team producers we were gonna be working with. They were all lovely of course and dressed in specially made Norweigan studio snuggly boots haha! We want some s.f ones made!

Late on we finally headed back to our hotel which was beautiful and even had a music theme (Me and Gem couldn't resist havin a play on the baby grand piano in reception on the last day during breakfast, which I'm sure all the guests loved!) Then headed out to a restaurant to set us up for the next day, and yes we did have an early night!

The next few days were work, work, work in the studio and we've got some wicked new tracks comin for you, our best yet we reckon! We had a great time out there and a nice change from London; Norway truly was a beautiful, peaceful place but you know us, we wanted to get back to the hustle and bustle and get out there performing to you guys so, we had one day off and then a trip with Tony Tours up to Rhyl - Hello to all our fans up there, it was great meeting you and seeing you singing along!

This week has been even more fun again as we've started in rehearsals with our new tracks and can't wait to get out performing them! Yesterday the BBC news team dropped by and caught us in action on our photo shoot which was wicked, catch all the action on their E24 programme, it's aired at 10.45 and 5.45 this Saturday which also happens to be our Gem's birthday. We're off to Gem n' Liz's joint party in the evening (It's Lizzy's on Tues) then back in the studio next week!

Love to ya all! busy busy busy foxxes x x

What was your first record? Lizzy: I Should Be So Lucky by Kylie Minogue. Stacy: This is embarrassing, a copy of Robson and Jerome's Unchained Melody - but I had lots of Kylie tapes before that. Gem: Bananarama. I used to get my mum and dad to tape them on TV so I could copy their dance moves while singing their songs.

What are you currently listening to? Lizzy: Danity Kane. Stacy: Colbie Caillat and Danity Kane's Welcome To The Dollhouse. Gem: Duffy. Love her. And Amy Winehouse, I sing along while I'm in traffic.

What is your Desert Island Disc? Lizzy: Stripped by Christina Aguilera. The whole album is amazing and she has a great voice. Stacy: Any Frank Sinatra album. Timeless, amazing music. Gem: Bananarama's Greatest Hits. It reminds me of when I was young and it's upbeat to keep my spirits high.

Which song do you wish you'd written? Lizzy: Hero by Mariah Carey. Stacy: Anything by Abba. Gem: I Turn To You by Christina Aguilera. My recording of the song was played at my cousin's funeral so it always makes me think of him.

What is your guilty music pleasure? Lizzy: I only listen to great music! Stacy: Well, I haven't got a soft spot for Cliff, or anything if that's what you mean! Gem: School disco cheese, Build Me Up Buttercup an all that. And I love musicals like Hairspray.

Which music makes you angry? Lizzy: People who can't sing. Stacy: I don't think any music angers me. It's expressing people's lives and feelings so different things will relate to different people. Gem: Music with no lyrics to sing to.

Who was your first gig? Lizzy: Spice Girls. Stacy: I never went to any big gigs when I was younger. Gem: Take That at Wembley. I was only little and kept standing on my chair and the ushers kept telling me to get down.

And last? Lizzy: Shayne Ward. We supported him on his UK tour. Stacy: Girls Aloud. A wicked show. Gem: Spice Girls reunion tour and Gwen Stefani.

Which musician would you like to be? Lizzy: Christina Aguilera. Stacy: Kylie. Gem: Mark Ronson - and my next collaboration would be with Stonefoxx.

Elvis or The Beatles? Lizzy: Elvis Stacy: The Beatles Gem: The Beatles
