Well, I just broke my iPhone out of jail. Big news. It's pretty cool, but is going to take a lot of searching through poorly-designed databases to figure out what my phone can do now. It looks like most everything is free, and I just changed my "theme" to "Apple Retro", which if you don't look too closely could be mistaken for "flaming-gay". Anyway, if you haven't taken the plunge of jail-breaking, you can do so at http://www.blackra1n.com Try it while watching mom peel carrots, or mashing potatoes. We've played a bunch of shows lately. I can't even remember the last one I wrote about. I know a lot of you that read these were there because our shows have been well-attended, so big-ups to all of you for that! Rotture, earlier this month was really great. We got to play with one of Portland's finest, Crosstide, and newer to the scene, Water & Bodies. Both great groups of guys, and it was nice to get back into Rotture (we haven't been there since the Meow Meow days in The Caroline's past.) They've done a lot with it, so if you haven't been in a while, check it out soon. Backspace is always a good time, and it was great to see all of you there! We've been adding new songs to the set, and we are pleased to know that they are becoming some of your new favorites. M. Bison from Seattle rocked the house with their brand of progressive pop, and blew some folks away. Also up that night were Charmparticles fresh off sabbatical, with new tunes too. Don't forget we're back at Backspace for another all-ages bash on this very Christmas/Holiday break. Mark your calendars for Jan. 2 w/ a laundry list of good Portland bands: Typhoon, Y La Bamba, Eat Skull, and Zoo Girl. Did I mention this show is FREE? And is a Willamette Week/Portland Makes Music show? Wow. (That's what she said.)
The other two shows were benefit shows for some great causes, Live Your Love, and Friendly House. One was at the Hinson Annex and the other the Aladdin Theater. It was great to head back to the Aladdin Theater. I believe the last time I played there was when I was a high-schooler. That doesn't seem like a long time ago, but kinda is. Anyway, great venue. Great sound. I really couldn't get over it. It's the kind of PA/soundman that bands dream of. Hopefully you all enjoyed it. Sorry to our friends who had to be stuck in the balcony for the whole show. Rules are rules, I guess. We can't wait to play there again though. Thanks to Josh for putting it on. Amy Seeley, and Ezza Rose, and Lance Andrew Leonnig, are truly talented artists who you should definitely be checking out and hearing more about.
Friday's show at the Aladdin was also Mirabai's birthday. What a great way to spend a birthday, on-stage in front of friends, family, and fans. We headed to the Goodfoot after the show with a gang of folks, and had the best dance-party that I've ever been a part of. DJ Aquaman was in the house, spinning the best mix of soul, funk, R & B, and pop that could be mixed. There was a point in the evening where Aaron was in the middle of the circle having a dance-off with someone, and incorporated his drink into the dance... by balancing it on his head, as the crowd oohed and ahhed, in fright. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Mirabai, for one her gifts received a pink "Snuggie", which I swear I'm not sweaty & naked in... right now. That would be weird. Don't picture it! Too late?
Miri in the (actual) Green Room at the Aladdin Theater.
If you haven't gotten your Tango fill, which you haven't, you'll have plenty of opportunity to indulge yourself in rock n' roll in the new year. I'm not going to give all the details away just yet, but we've got lots of great things coming your way soon, that we've been working hard at. And that's all I'm gonna say for now... just to make you mad. No, not really mad. Curious. Maybe furiously curious. Enough of that.
Everyone who is of age, we just added a last minute show at Rontoms with The Hugs and the Highway for this Sunday evening, the 27th. Be there or be square.

Just got home from Jov's house. Jov is a friend that plays in a band called The Romantic & Bombastic. He helped me fix up my guitar and a few broken pedals that had seen better days due to years of wear & tear. My guitar is almost back to normal, a little wood glue and duct tape goes along way. Some, most-likely all, of you noticed some serious electricity entering my body at the show through the mic. Well, that too is now fixed. Turns out my ground plug on my amp's power chord was MIA, and that's what was causing all the problems.
Speaking of electricity... quite the crowd out at Berbati's on Saturday! Thank you all so much for coming out and showing Portland what a rock show looks like. Hopefully you know how much we appreciate your loyal support. By now, lots of you should have our Dead Wrong EP. We can't seem to ever print off enough of them. (That's what we get for making them by hand. We're going to keep doing it too, because it's a lot of fun for us. We are hard at work on lots of new music to fill up several recordings, some of which are already in progress.) Thank you all again for making it a really special night. Berbati's was very pleased! Thanks to our new friends The Martyrs for rocking into the morning, and Symmetry Symmetry for getting the party started. You will likely be hearing more and more about these bands in the near future.
This week is the week of acoustic shows. The weather is just right for an acoustic show, isn't it? Rainy, windy, warm, lightning clouds filling the sky, puddles on the ground. On Friday I will perform for our favorite Newberg coffee shop, the Coffee Cottage. But, the night before it looks like I will be playing a similar-style set at Kelly's Olympian, opening for the likes of Just Lions, and some others. I'll post some more information on that later today and the day of the show.
We've added another show to the roster, check the facts on the poster below!
Our first show at Rotture!
Stay rad. Check us on the twitter and tweets! (Also, you may have witnessed my dream come true: Aaron is now tweeting!)

Alright, where were we? Oh yes. We arrived home in the afternoon on Halloween. Lots to do for the next event. I had only a few hours to transform into my hero, my idol. I drove around making stops at all the necessary spots. The last thing on my list was a blonde wig, and it seemed like Portland might be wig-less. More and more adults dress up every year, and this year was no exception, with it being Saturday night. I finally found one. It would work. Now, time to get home and get a few friends over, because I didn't really just want to watch movies by myself dressed the way I was, because that is the definition of crazy... I think. Mirabai and I got ready and ended up as Bret Michaels, (Rock of Love era), and one of his contestants. No, Bret is not really my hero at all. I'd have a hard time recognizing any of his music. I did see the show a long time ago, and thought it was some of the worst television I've ever seen. But it made for a good night, being that some of our friends were other Poison members, and groupies. Aaron and his wife ended up being Paul Bunyan and his Blue Ox Babe, and Walker was a rocker from the '70's era.
From Left to Right: Rikki Rockett, C.C. Deville, Bret Michaels, Bret's Groupie.
Anyway, I hope everyone had a great time on Halloween. On to other things. We have a great show coming up next Saturday, the 14th of November, at Berbati's. It is 21 and up, which we regret to inform our underage fans, but... this show is 100% FREE. This is the show to bring EVERYONE to. This is the kind of show that a whole new audience of new TAT fans can be born. Bring all those broke folks who don't normally pay for shows but like live music, or music at all. Many of you have become great planners, and we need your help to make this show go off. Start making those plans for next weekend. Send an evite, email, mass text, however you do it, but do it soon, so people can come. We will have EPs as well, so get folks out who don't have our music. We've almost sold/given away 100 since our show on Friday. Who knew we would have gotten ourselves into the handmade CD trade. We just can never make enough of them. But we promise to have plenty for this show. Our good friends Symmetry Symmetry will be opening the show, and The Martyrs will be headlining. We haven't had a chance to see the Martyrs yet, but it should be a good show all around.
Picked up some fresh vinyl Monday night at the Burnside location. Grabbed a new copy of Passion Pit on vinyl in the recent arrival section for cheap. Finally got a copy of the Bon Iver Blood Bank EP on vinyl... wow. That record nearly blew my mind, and he might be on the short list of my most favorite current artists. Also got the newest King of Convenience record, which is always good. "Declaration of Dependence" has no percussion, just guitars and their two voices, which makes the record really intimate, and sleepy. We picked up some old '80's records too, for like 2 bucks each, to keep the party/dance section up to date. (Journey, Heart, Toto) stuff like that.
I'm also hard at work on a lot of new music. For those of you who catch our updates or tweets, I have written several new songs that may eventually make up an EP that will be coming soon. More on that when I finish the idea. But the band is already working on parts of it as we speak.
That's all for now. See you on November 14th at Berbati's Pan. Remember, it's FREE!

Sitting around enjoying the extra hour we are given at this time of the year. Enjoying the sunshine, and the great weekend that we are in the middle of. Where to start... it's been way too long since I've blogged about things, but sometimes we're just do busy doing things, and that's why you see more tweets during those times, because we're on the go. A lot of what's been going on has been writing. It seems that the new seasons are always the biggest inspiration for writing new material. That's why it's constantly my goal to put out music as fast as we write it, so you can feel it and listen to it in the season that it was written. I think it helps. Anyway, some of may have seen some posts about a concept EP, among other things. Well, we're still working on it. But we have at least 3 tracks that correlate to each other, in theme and key, and I think they would be best if recorded all together on the same album. These tunes have gone from the writing stages of me in the Tango Cave to all of us working out parts as a band. We almost performed the newest one, "The Lucky Ones", as a full band in Seattle, but decided not to.
Speaking of Seattle... As you all know, we have been trying to get up to Seattle for quite some time now. One show we were working a long while back just kept not working, consistently. We got a show booked at the Comet Tavern a couple months back and couldn't wait to bring the show up North. We hitched up the trailer at Ripcord Studios and hit the road at about 3-4 PM Friday afternoon, worried that we were gonna get into some serious traffic issues. Mirabai was the DJ of the day, and posted some of the memorable tracks that came up. We even heard ourselves come up on Pandora for the iPhone. (Immediate thumbs down, then we realized it was us... kidding.) Most of the way up, the band put together the latest edition of the "Dead Wrong" EPs, which feature new colors, on the cover and CD. It was probably the first time that I have never it any traffic on I-5. We made it with absolutely no hold-ups in record time. I love driving around the bend, and seeing Seattle for the first time of any trip. It always looks so commanding and humble. They even have some green lights on the stadium that really gives it the "Emerald City" vibe. Seattletonians: you live in a great city. We arrived at the venue, with a quick load-in, and hung for a bit in one of the top ten dive bars in the country that is the Comet. We were all a little bit hungry, due to the fact that we had only eaten Corn-Nuts in the recent past, and decided to find something. Just as we were discussing it a man came up and introduced himself, with his last name being Trueb. It was our long-lost third cousin who was from around there. He and his buddy took us over to the Cha Cha Lounge, which is a rad, subterranean, mexican-wrestler-themed, mexican-food place, with only red lights illuminating. The kind of place you could lose your mind. Especially the night before Halloween, in Seattle. You can't tell who's in a costume on Capitol Hill. We caught up with our friends and family, and headed back to hear one of our favorite Seattle exports lately, M. Bison. They are a band chock full of great musicians. They are a band with their own sound. They went on first and brought the house down, right off the bat. A band of under-agers from the islands up North went on next and played some convincing jam-rock not dissimilar to Portugal the Man at times. Can't remember their name, but it was carved into a pumpkin on stage. We set up next to a full room and started into our set. People watched intently as if we were a new exhibit in a traveling circus. I don't mind if people are quiet, as long as they are listening. And this crowd definitely was. We played a regular rock set full of all the favorites, and tore down for the last band to set up. The night was a success, and we keep running out of the free EPs as soon as we make them. (By the way, I will be mailing them out tomorrow to the folks that still need them.)
After the show we ended up in a rad second-floor apartment in Capitol Hill with members of M. Bison and Bad Dream Good Breakfast listening to various vinyls including Cyndi Lauper and Joni Mitchell. After that we ordered some pizza delivery on our way over to our good friend Jill's place, up near the U district. Luckily the spot delivered until 3, kind of like our local "Hammy's Pizza". A perfect end to the night, getting full of wings and pizza, zoning out to an OPB show on FDR. We hit the hay... kind of. Walker was first to snore. It was after five in the morning on couches, pull out sofas, and the floor. Aaron, Mirabai, and I couldn't seem to get into REM with that perfectly consistent noise going. Finally Aaron went to shake Walker and give him a pillow. First Walker turned over in a dead sleep talk, and said, "I gotch you, I gotch you", smiling with his eyes closed, and speaking like a southern black man. Aaron replied to the nonsensical statement, "Here, put a pillow under your head". And Walker promptly responded, "It's not a pillow. It's more like cotton candy with fur." And then concluded with the proclamation, "I believe."
We woke up to a perfectly beautiful, crisp morning, with barley any sleep, coffee in hand, and driving home for the next event, Halloween. Halloween blog coming next in, "Cotton-Candy with Teeth Pt. II".

We are still in a fog since the last show at Doug Fir. Thank you so much to everyone who made it a sold-out night of fun. It really meant quite a bit to us that you were all there to help make our first headlining show there so much fun. Oh Darling and Drew Grow & the Pastors' Wives were both great, as always, and we look forward to sharing more bills with them in the future. If you weren't there, you definitely missed out, not to rub it in... but Nafisaria Thomas-Scroggins joined us on our own cover version of "Dreams", by Fleetwood Mac, and Gabriel Nada and Todd Harlow joined us with their saxes for "Dead Wrong", "Understand", and and encore version of "The Devil's Mark". Also a shout-out to Matthew McLean and everyone else at the Doug Fir for always getting all the duck in a row to make these great nights happen. There is a reason that the Doug Fir is one of Portland's favorite venues, and that is because of the folks that keep it running.
You may have noticed a new track on the Myspace and Facebook pages. That is a straight-off-the-board mix of "Mona Lisa's Death". It hasn't been mixed or altered, and we thought you guys might like to hear it. We are going to be recording more live performances in the future, so if you're into that, get excited. Right now. You're still just sitting there aren't you? Oh well. Anyhow, that song is fun, because like many songs of ours, they're never the same song.
We have been busy in the Tango cave working on new material. Well, we're always working on new material. But the latest song, "The Lucky Ones", some of you already heard, if you made it to the Coffee Cottage show. Walker and I packed up a broken-down drum kit, an acoustic guitar, and headed down to Newberg to play an intimate set for what turned out to be quite a crowd! We were happy to see a crowd of Tango fans of all ages. We did some cover-songs, and some old favorites, and the new one, "The Lucky Ones", which after hearing it for the first time, one fan said, "that is one your best songs", which made us really happy, because we're so excited about it... and once you hear it with the full band, you might be saying the same thing. Who knows?!
Earlier tonight Mirabai and I headed out to Puyallup, WA, for a country show. Yes, a country show. Two of our friends, Joeie Canaday and Will Denton, who I recently recorded with, had a show with the famed Leann Rimes. We showed up in town to quite the event; roller-coasters, ferris wheels, animals, stadiums, and acres and acres of parking lots breaking at the britches with cars, trucks and RVs. We thought it was a concert which happened to be on the fairgrounds, but not during a fair. We were mistaken. The show was slated to start at a very early 7:30, which we were right on time for, until traffic stopped with the fair in sight, and no where to park, and no cash. Every lot was $10, at least. Our tickets were on will-call at the "gold gate", and we were somewhere between "Chartreuse" and "Burnt Sienna". We pulled off into a lot, and begged a attendant to let us leave the car idle. He obliged, and asked where I was going to get cash... I replied with a 'you tell me', and he pointed toward the horizon at what seemed to be a building off in the distant cloud cover. "Gold gate's that-a-way. Might as well drive." Foolishly I said, "no, I'll run". Once I got there, suspiciously sweating and panting, not to mention every Fife and Puyallup officer taking turns letting me know that they are armed and dangerous, I realize that there is no way I will be sprinting back to pay the attendant, and then running back to the gate. I call Mirabai and tell her to pull the car around and meet in what seems to be the next county. After two failed visits to ticket windows, (by this point everything is eerily reminding me of the Wizard of Oz), I find the will-call booth, grab the tickets, after, of course, a thorough investigation of my foreign identification. Yes ma'am the United Federation of Planets. Oh wait, no. Just Oregon. Then through the maze of gates to find the ATM to pay for parking. I ask about re-entry. It's fine. Close call though, because had someone not yelled at me as I nearly left the premises to "Get a Stamp!!" I would not have been let back in, ticket or not. Mirabai and I reunite in the truck, and try to find the entrance to a large lot. I think the fair staff got carried away in planning, and may have concluded that everything, even parking, should resemble some sort-of a game. I can just see the planning committee, "Yes, yes! And we'll have mysterious entrances for all the parking lots, being so close to Halloween and all. Kind of like a corn maze!" But instead of children's laughter heard in this maze, it was more like muttered curses at complete strangers, and pointing at street signs reading aloud, "9. This street is called 9 Street. Really?!" (And there were actually parentheses on the sign notating the street "other" names, or possibly nick-names.) After sprinting in to the venue, we walked in only a few songs late to a very rockin' country band. It was more like a rockin' rock band, but it's all just semantics. Leann sounded, and looked great, and our friends did too, and had all-access passes waiting for us (bonus!), which is always fun. So we hung out, checked out the gear as the roadies loaded everything up, briefly saw Leann off to her personal bus, which was taking her somewhere in a hurry, and then headed to the band bus for a great hang. We thought about heading to Seattle with all of them for a minute, but decided not to, due to some fresh gear in our car (which we'll have to discuss in the next issue due to the length, and strain on your eyes). It was a great night, and a great show.
Enjoy the new live track, and the newest EP too. We'll keep working hard at becoming your favorite band. Thanks for all of your support.
Nathan

First of all thanks to KUFO (101.1 FM) for spinning us lately, and also to KINK (101.9 FM) for spinning "This City" tonight, and, of course, NRK (94.7 FM) for always playing our stuff. It's always fun to hear it coming over the airwaves. We were in the middle of a horns-rehearsal, and we stopped during a run-through of "Dead Wrong", when someone remembered that it was going to be on. We sat and chatted while it played in the background of the Tango cave, and then got back to work on a few select tunes that we will perform this Friday at the Doug Fir.
These past few weeks have been fun in our world. We have been busy rehearsing, writing, and creating the hand-crafted EPs. We had to print another one due to the lack of requests for people that weren't able to get 'em yet. So this edition will be noted by one difference. We added an "Oregon" stamp that I found in the basement of our house. It looks like this:
We have also been riding a lot of bicycles around our neighborhood and other neighboring... neighborhoods. Hmm. Anyway, it seems that our foyer has turned into a breeding ground of bikes... they seem to keep multiplying.
Tonight some of us after practice decided to ride to Vendetta for some late-night nachos and shuffleboard. One of my favorite sports, along with Ping-Pong and Frisbee. The weather seems to have changed over-night though into that new-school-year feel. Now it's getting to be my favorite time of year. Fall. Our days are sunny but crisp; lonely but happy.
The other day Mirabai and I decided to visit a store I hadn't been to in years called Things From Another World. It's a comic book store located in Milwaukie. I've been to a few comic shops in Portland more recently, but this was different. We had a specific mission: see if the childhood hobby still interested us. Sure enough, seeing the old Star Wars merchandise right off the bat didn't hurt. We both found a comic that suited us, and thought we'd give it a shot. I haven't actively read a comic, and followed it, since I was a kid. I decided on what seemed to be a sure-bet, Proof. I read it tonight, and it was a really good read.
We are excited to get back into the studio soon, and finish another EP of new material. There's actually quite a few songs nearly finished, that just need final touches. We like to get 'em all mixed and whatnot before you hear them. Plan on hearing new songs sooner than later. Video is another form of media that you will be seeing more of from us, we plan to get some new ideas posted soon.
So, Doug Fir this Friday. We can't wait to see all of you out there in the crowd, and hang out before and after our set. If you haven't grabbed a "Dead Wrong" EP well, this is the time to do so. We can't wait to have our horn-section, and other half of the Tango family in effect. We've been working really hard to make this a show worth your while. Also, the show is in the "Deer and a Beer" series presented by Cazadores, which features drink-specials, and a low cover of $5! We know you love a. Cheap shows b. Cheap drinks c. free music d. entertaining shows that live up to the hype, and that's what this night is all about. Oh Darling is one of Portland's favorites, and soon to be one of California's too. (Cali is Oh Darling's new home). Drew Grow is almost back from his tour and will be ready to bring the house down with his Pastors' Wives. If you haven't seen Drew yet, then you might be new in town, so just fix that this weekend.
Thanks for tuning in on the radio this week, and tuning in here too. We would appreciate it if some of you (you know who you are) would send a note telling the stations how much you liked hearing Tango Alpha Tango, conveniently, playing over the airwaves of our local stations. See you Friday! Make sure to say hi, and grab a disc.

If you have been following our updates and tweets, you may know that TAT has been the victim of a crime. A silly crime. Maybe even spiteful. Aaron's car got broken in to over in SE, and happened to have our huge bin of t-shirts in it. The crooks had trouble getting the stereo out, but still took the face, made out with a few musical items from the trunk, and probably being unsatisfied, (and in need of meth), decided to take a large number of shirts that all happen to say our band-name on them. Lame. So, maybe they'll turn up at Buffalo Exchange, or Red Light... maybe even Goodwill, or the side of the road. But, as of now, if you, which many of you do, own a TAT shirt, you'll be the only ones... for now anyway. Let's hope they pop up somewhere. Keep your eyes and ears open.
I just sent out an update, but the bill is set for our first headlining show at Doug Fir! We are very excited about it. Oh Darling, will be opening the show with their pop-vocal sound. Drew Grow & the Pastors' Wives go on right before us, and let me tell you, there show gets better and better every time. They are currently on tour, and will be more than warmed up by Friday, so be prepared. Drew also is releasing singles, like we have been doing, and has a great one up for grabs featuring his latest, Friendly Fires/Bootstraps. Make sure to grab a copy of that for the iTunes price of a buck a song.
More to come soon!

Well it's far too long. It's been a busy summer for Tango. We've had a couple of shows since we last spoke. We "headlined" the Berbati's Potlatch Presents festival, which is synonymous for "going on really, really late"... and most everyone that came out to see us, and those of you who caught the show for the first time, stayed until the end, and we really appreciate that. It was a really fun set, because we got to play a few more tunes than the regular, and Gabriel Nada joined us on sax for "Dead Wrong", and "The Devil's Mark".
The next show that we played was at the Widmer Brothers Brewery for the "Brother's Day" celebration. We shared the stage with Colin Lake and Wellbottom, who you should check out soon, especially if you like blues. The guy can really play, and mostly sticks to the lap steel, which is always a fun instrument to watch/hear. This show also had some interesting obstacles... one being the rain. Of last week, the only day that really decided to rain was, of course, the day with our outdoor show. It ended up making the show more fun, for us anyway. It also gave us a greater respect for the fans willing to watch the show rain or shine.
This week I've actually been recruited for a project that a friend of mine started. Joeie Canaday is a Nashville cat who has played with EVERYONE and is currently the bass player in Leanne Rhymes' band... anyway, he decided to start a group with his own music (not country), and I am playing on the recording. David Martin, a gifted singer/songwriter, is singing lead, Will Denton on drums, Patrick Tetreault producing,Steve Bishir engineering, and Joseph Nicodemus as assistant engineer. We are all currently working at Cider Mt. Recorders, which is one of my favorite places on earth. It's a state-of-the-art studio located way out in the woods of Idaho with a full staff to take care of your every need (Chris, Corrie, Chelsea, Chad, Terry), an amazing chef, and separate lodges for each musician to sleep in. Really, words can't describe, but I'll try throughout the week. Right now, I am currently listening to editing of the bass/drums. For lunch they whipped up a meatball sub, chips and salsa, and clam chowder. (This all made from scratch, BTW).

It's that time again. Show-time. We will be headlining the first ever Potlatch Presents Festival this Friday night. We are excited about Matt King putting this together, because he is a great promoter/booker, and has been a part of some of your favorite shows in town, I'm sure. Sharing the stage will be, Black Whales, Winebirds, Deer or the Doe, Phantom, and Pill Thief. It's time to get grassroots on us and start spreading the word if you're coming. Or if you're not, and just trying to help us out, that's great to. Start making your plans. Remember Berbati's is very close to some prime pre-function establishments; one very important one being, Voodoo Doughnuts, home of the bacon-maple bar you've heard so much about. I've had it... it's alright. Anyway, once you make those plans, including Tango Alpha Tango's headlining set (which we don't do very often), where things are bound to become unhinged, start sending the tweets and texts down the wire. Pretty soon, we've got something going on that is a big deal. Groups of friends are always sitting around in houses, parking lots, hitching posts, going, "what should we do?". Well, here it is. You heard it here first. Let's make it a party. Why not. You know that TAT brings the ruckus when the crowd is thick, and rowdy. New album title? "Thick & Rowdy"... has a nice ring to it. Here is another idea... get a group to meet at location A, which could be any number of places, like, "Peninsula Park", or "Delta Cafe", wherever, and have everyone meet there on bicycles, and then make your own TAT-ride. We'll make our own rides. More official TAT rides to come, but start 'em on your own too.
Speaking of bicycles... I've recently, due to the weather, reunited with an old love... riding bikes. In grade school I was close to being obsessed with BMX biking. Still have my Mongoose. Loved watching, "Rad", and circling parts in the catalog that I would never order. Anyone remember Cycle World, and Smoked Monkeys Board Shop? Old skool. Anyway, I pulled some of our old bikes out of my Dad's barn; a Columbia from the '60's, and a Puegot from the '70's, and of course, my old Mongoose. We've been taking them around town, and tonight a friend and I ended up around 60th and NE Skidmore at a chill pool party with my man Keith. The ride, for me, was treacherous. I somehow didn't notice that my back tire was rubbing the rear forks... for about 3 miles it was like riding a broken exercise bike. Wow, was I sweating. The pool was a perfect ending. Rode home down the bike route on Skidmore, and got home safely. I suppose I should get a helmet, or a light, or maybe a bike that has more than coaster brakes, and doesn't weigh as much as a Mercedes Diesel. I think that I'm gonna skip the 10-speed deal, and get back to my roots and start bunny-hoppin the blazes out of N. Portland. That's what I'm gonna do. And I mean it.
Anyway, I hope you found these suggestions enlightening and thought-provoking. So come to the show, ride a bike, it's going to be beautiful. If you can't ride, no worries. Show off your T-top Nissan, take a detour down Broadway, show it off. Armor-All the tires, SOS your spokes, and get on down to Berbati's on surely the nicest, warmest, summer weekend of the year. Everyone will be downtown. Especially if you and I say so.
Nathan!

Well William and co. have done it again, and they just keep getting better and better. Here is the latest video, "fresh out of the oven", as William says. It's "Dead Wrong" featuring Nafisaria Scroggins, Debra Luck, Etta Ward, Todd Harlow, Peter Chan, and Gabriel Nada. Enjoy. Thanks to William and Aurora Landers, and Jonathan Drews for working so hard to bring Tango to the 'tube.
