Brouwer and Evangeline, to Headline Showcase

      NASHVILLE,
Tenn. (February 2009) – The independent label management firm Indie
Extreme will spotlight 4 of their independent acts during its first
annual Independent Artist Showcase on the rooftop of the
Blind Pig Pub  on 6^th Street in Austin, TX  from
4 p.m. – 8pm on March 19 (Thursday).
      The
event which is sponsored by Stage Sponsor Initial Underwriting Group,
and Silver Sponsors Music Arsenal and Project: AK-
47, which is an official part of the RedGorilla Music Fest, will
feature a performance at 6 p.m. by hit singer-songwriter Matt Brouwer
and at 7 p.m. by hit songwriting team, Evangeline. 
This will be the first appearance of these 2 artists at the premier
Austin showcases during the largest gathering of music fans and industry
executives in the country.
      Brouwer
will be performing songs from his
newest album, currently in digital release, Where’s
Our Revolution produced by Grammy winning producer, Michael
Omartian. The album has already garnered international award nominations,
airplay and is currently gaining ground at college radio stations throughout
the USA.
      Evangeline,
whose first single “Rain”
from their debut album, We’re Alright Down Here, 
rose to #129 on the Top40 MediaBase Chart in early 2008 and #9 on the
Indie Top40 MediaBase Chart, will be showcasing some of their yet unrecorded
songs along with the tunes from their album.
      Other
acts taking the stage for 20-minute sets will be Nashville- based R&B
Fusion singer-songwriter Traci Root
(5:30 p.m.), and California
native Christian singer-songwriter
Quimi (5:00 p.m.).  Admission to the event is free.

of our prior Indie Extreme Independent Artist Showcases
at other industry events have been a huge success, so when we
were offered this opportunity by RedGorilla to host a Day Party we felt
it was time to expand into Austin,” said company CEO Kathy Douglas,
who founded the Nashville-based company in 2006.  “Matt Brouwer
plans to perform several selections from his limited release album. 
He will be joined by several of our other highly acclaimed acts that
perform in a variety of musical styles.  There’s no doubt it
will be a highlight of the RedGorilla Music Fest.”

His other CDs, Unlearning, B-sides Recording Vol. 1, and A
Merry Little Christmas, follow his award-winning and critically
acclaimed debut CD, Imagerical.  Brouwer’s newest album
Where’s Our Revolution, produced by multi -Grammy winning producer,

Evangeline www.evangelinegroup.com, a four-member band from
Houston, TX  led by songwriters-storytellers Jeffery Armstreet
and Jonathan Barrick.  The act uses its soulful pop, rock
and folk-accented music to communicate the depths of life’s struggles
and challenges in relationships, choices, death, life and faith.  
Acclaimed producer and EMI recording artist Robbie Seay produced the
act’s first album, We’re Alright Down Here, which gained
national attention when it’s first single (Rain) landed at
#129 on the Top40 Billboard chart and #9 on the Indie Top40 Billboard
chart. The song was also featured on a VH1 Radio interview segment with
Evangeline and on Continental Airlines InFlight magazine playlist.

Traci Root www.traciroot.com, a Nashville-based singer-songwriter
whose performances in Southeast Asia have drawn up to 40,000 people. 
The artist has received critical acclaim for a style that combines classic
R&B with modern soul, jazz and hip-hop.  This
two-time ASCAPlus award-winning songwriter made it to Round 2 of American
Idol’s auditions in New Jersey, (that would put her in the top 1%
of the 10,000 hopefuls and/or skeptics who showed up to audition), she
was picked out of the crowd by Fox News to sing a Stevie Wonder tribute
live to New Jersey, New York and Washington DC. She was also a 2007
Independent Music World Series Northeast Semi-finalist.In December of
2008.

Quimi www.myspace.com/quimimusic, a 20-year-old singer-songwriter
who “pours out her heart and soul” through rocking vocals and an
acoustic guitar to show her love for Jesus Christ.  The soft-spoken
yet enthusiastic artist recently stepped onto the music scene with her
self-titled debut CD.  A former nationally ranked tennis player,
Quimi has been writing songs for five years.  Her 10-song CD, which
was produced by The Katinas, features charismatic vocals and funk, jazz
and reggae-accented songs. 
      “Today,
it’s harder than ever for artists to land major record deals or for
smaller labels to receive substantial radio airplay and record sales,”

CCM worship band The Access wins a spot on the

Winter Jam Tour Spectacular 2009

Houston, TX --- The Access on independent label, RAW Music Group administered by Indie Extreme, blasted their way through 3 performace competions with 22 other bands in the Indie Jam Showcase on The Music Boat 2008 Cruise to the top slot, grabbing the Grand Prize of a slot on Winter Jam Tour Spectacular, Christian music's largest tour. The showcase was hosted by nationally known live music producer, Tom Jackson, and attracted artists, music lovers and industry professionals.

The fresh new faces of the guys from Baytown, Texas have created a buzz everywhere they perform. Their recent performances have included the Indie Extreme Independent Artist Showcase at GMA Music Week 2008 at the Global Café in Nashville, TN and an opening performance for Leeland at the Christian Life Center in Humble, TX. The band is currently recording their first album in Houston with MD Thompson, for a fall release on the RAW Music Group label, administered by Indie Extreme, LLC.

The band's first singles " Pressing On" and "I Remember When"  will be hitting CCM AC and CHR radio early this summer in preparation for the full album release in September 2008.

Bryan has worked in the music industry in various capacities including A&R, marketing, radio promotions, business affairs and concert promotions for over 15 years including time at Relativity Records, RED Distribution, Warlock Records and Serchlite Music. In 2003, he drew upon his varied experiences and founded LMS with to help indie record labels succeed. To that end, he developed specific business solutions to achieve that goal, namely Strategus, the StrategusPro Toolbox and Strategus Professional Services.

Bryan has a BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia and regularly speaks at music industry conferences and at universities about the intricacies of running an independent record label.

 Hit CCM Singer-Songwriter Matt Brouwer to Headline April 23 Event

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 2007) – The independent label management firm Indie Extreme will introduce itself to Music City by staging the first Independent Artist Showcase at the Rutledge in downtown Nashville from 6-9 p.m. on April 23 (Monday).

            The event, which is an official part of GMA Music Week 2007, will end with an 8:30 p.m. performance by hit contemporary Christian singer-songwriter Matt Brouwer.  Other acts taking the stage for 20-minute sets will be Evangeline (6 p.m.), Krissy Nordhoff (6:30 p.m.), Travis Taylor (7 p.m.), Traci Root (7:30 p.m.),  and Tifah (8 p.m.).  Admission is free with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.

            "The Independent Artist Showcase will be our first Nashville event," said company CEO Kathy Douglas, who founded the Houston-based company in 2006.  "Matt Brouwer is a tremendous talent with national recognition.  He will be joined by five other highly acclaimed Christian acts that perform in a variety of musical styles.  There's no doubt it will be a highlight of GMA Music Week."

            *  Krissy Nordhoff, a Nashville singer-songwriter and part-time worship leader for The People's Church in Franklin, Tenn.  The artist's debut album, Downpour, will be released in North America in September 2007.  Nordhoff touches audiences with her heartfelt Christian worship, pop and rock songs.

            *  Travis Taylor, a Houston native who recently released the acclaimed 13-song CD, You Have Loved.  The singer-songwriter fuses the pop stylings of classic artists such as Tom Petty with the modern edge of popular acts such as Snow Patrol.

            *  Traci Root, an Indiana native whose performances in Southeast Asia have drawn up to 40,000 people.  The artist has received critical acclaim for a style that combines classic R&B with modern soul, jazz and hip-hop.  Her song, I Will Carry You, which is dedicated to Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, has been used by the social welfare organization Foundation Life.  She is sponsored by Christian Healthcare Ministries.

            *  Tifah, a five-member band from Colorado lead by singer-keyboardist Latifah Al-Attas.  A writer for The Onion publication described the group as "a post-collegiate Fiona Apple jamming with Snow Patrol (that) serve up a violin-rich, piano-drenched sincerity topped off with a voice that's wise and heartbroken beyond its years."  Founded in 2006, the band's debut CD, Safe & Sound, is an emotive and mature work that explores the challenges, heartaches and successes of life.
