Hello Hello. Hopefully everyone had a wonderful holiday season. We hope that Santa gave you the gift you wanted this year (a new fire truck, an acoustic guitar, maybe even rent money) and that your New Year's was filled with reasonable resolutions. Tendaberry ended up playing a house party for a friend of ours in Atlanta on New Year's Eve. We have possibly known her almost as long as the band's been together. We thank Kristin for letting us play and making some new friends.

Our upcoming shows are about to be insane. It will be filled with kilts, sunglasses, Reaganomics, and Anarchy...and that might just be within the first 5 minutes of the show. This is something you will definitely not want to miss. We are playing a show Jan 10th (this saturday) at Little Kings in Athens with our friends Jesse Nobody and Choptop. the show will Start around 10 so come and check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Also, for the kids back in ATL who want to come and check us out. We will be hosting a show at the East Atlanta Icehouse with Spree Wilson and The Sunglasses. It should be a treat. We would love it if you guys can help spread the word across the land. If you aren't able to make it, tell a friend to come in your place, or if you don't like the music, tell an enemy to come in spite and hopefully they will actually enjoy it to your surprise. Hope to chat with you all soon.

enjoy the vid, take care

We just found out lat night when the band was conversing with Chuck Lightning of the Wondaland Art Society that Janelle Monae is nominated for a Grammy for her single "Many Moons". Congrats to her and the whole W.A.S. crew. Also, our fellow Radiant Kid, Small Eyez, is nominated for Musician of the Year by the Chozen Awards so congrats to him as well. The past couple of weeks have been interesting. Who would have known that Young Jeezy's song "My President is Black" would have been an anthem? Who would have known the new Kanye West album would have leaked out so early? Who would have known that the Atlanta Falcons would have a record over .500?

We've recently have been backing and playing with a hiphop group called Mach5. It's an Atlanta based group with an alternative flavor that everyone can enjoy. On Saturday we a show with them and Yelawolf at Smith's Olde Bar. It was an eventful night. Strings breaking, Crimson Tide winning, and lots of moshing...good times. Also, we traveled over to Athens,GA to play a gig at Kingpins. It's pretty fantastic when you have the local roller derby girls enjoying your music.

This week is the gig of all gigs. Big Trouble in Little Five Points hosted by the Pop Death Squad at the Star Bar. Its a free show featuring The Judies, How I Became the Bomb, and your truly of course. Come through Thursday at 9 and dance to the sounds of indie and post-punk. It's better than sitting at home and drinking hot chocolate while reading a Grisham. Check it out! You won't regret it! Now enjoy a video. Thanks

The past couple of weeks have been an experience in itself. We had the chance to go to our Alma mater of Morehouse College for homecoming. It was great to see our friends and catch up on our lives. You have a different perspective on your experience in college once you have become a graduate. Some things you miss and some you definitely never want to deal with again, but all in all, it's worth it. There is nothing that can really replace the Morehouse Mystique.

To let everyone know, we have a couple of shows coming up within the next couple of days. Jon is doing a solo show at Little Kings in Athens, GA opening for Reeks of Failure, Choptop, The Fact, Karbomb on Nov. 1st. So anyone in the area, go check it out. You won't regret it.

Also something you won't regret is seeing Tendaberry on Nov. 6th with Skrull Invaders and Jesse Nobody. Whenever Jesse Nobody and Tendaberry play together, pure mayhem ensues. Its really something you can't describe so you need to be there to experience the madness in itself.

Take care and hope to hear back from you soon.
