About a year ago I wrote the first tracks on the Humachine album. At that time I had a rough outline on what I was working towards as I have learnt by experience to give room for creativity. There are more tracks with vocals on this album than I usually have, not that I put a limit on the number of tracks with vocals. Most of the tracks are upbeat in a style that is melodic and clean with tight production. During the work on this album me and Peter at TailorMaid studios changed the way we work together and we both think that the result is even better than before.

From the Voide dictionary: Humachine - erases the borders of humanity and machine existence, merges them to into one unit and the result is a composite of contradictionary operators in a biomechanical structure. One could argue that this is bad, another that it is good - the only thing that is for sure is that it raises more questions than it answers.

The Humachine album features 14 tracks and 69 minutes of music.

Distribution
CDBABY is the global distributor of all Voide albums making them available for MP3 downloads and CD purchases on many online music sites like for example iTunes, SoundClick, Last.FM, Napster, Amazon, GroupieTunes and others.

As distribution is still ongoing due to the fact that the album is released today only CDBABY and SoundClick currently have the new album available in their stores.

Best wishes to you all for 2009!

I have exciting news to share my friends and fans!

During the last year and a half I have been working together with Suzie Electric from Germany and we have now finished our first project titled 'Love'.

Our project and the hard work has resulted in a CD Single with three versions of the Love track with lyrics in English and German. The extended dance floor version is featuring both languages. The CD single will be released in a couple of weeks, likely just after New Year and it will be available on CDBABY and iTunes to mention the main sites.

You can listen to the tracks prior to the physical release as we have posted them on MySpace, SoundClick and LastFM.

On SoundClick you can already now buy a high quality MP3 (320kbps) copy of the tracks online if you can't wait to get of them until the CD is out. Visit The Voide Music Store @ SoundClick to buy your copy

Both me and Suzie are quite excited about this project and we hope that you will be so too! Personally I think Suzie's lovely voice works perfectly with my music and I hope that you will like the tracks as much as we do.

Suzie wrote and performed the lyrics and I have been responsible for the music and the production. The excellent cover art has been created by Are Eidet

With much love!
Dave and Sue

I am mighty proud to announce the third and upcoming new Voide album titled Humachine!

During the last couple of days (well months) I have finished the work on the audio tracks, all 14 of them. Yes 14!

Out of the three preview tracks (I/O You, Electrolyte & Rock the Geek) made available online there are additional 11 brand new songs on the album adding up to a total playing time of about 65 minutes. I am very pleased with this album and the tracks that will continue the musical voyage of Voide.

The mix of tracks on the Humachine album will definitely keep the listener engaged. I have spent a great deal of time on the production and this will hopefully be quite clear when you get to experience my music. I write experience, as I think my tracks are made to be experienced and not simply listened too.

If you are new to my music then I can introduce it as 'intriguing Electronica'. I like to compose music that makes you think and feel. My love of 80s and 90s type sounds will be clear on the album. I am not trying to repeat history though and I think I have succeeded creating my own musical cocktail staying true to my style mixed with ingredients from today.

Most of the tracks on the Humachine album are upbeat and ranges in bpm from 116 to 142, not that that is sufficient to describe them but that should give you an idea of what to expect. The dreamy soundscapes, wicked bass lines, solid beats and melodic simple melodies that are my trademark are all included.

The track list from the Humachine album:
01 Humachine
02 Between Sheets
03 Adrenalin
04 How Does It Work
05 Classica
06 Electrolyte
07 In Agony With Hope
08 Sometimes I Daydream
09 I/O You
10 Emo Bliss
11 Rock The Geek
12 The Mechanical Fiddler
13 Toxic
14 Retrothought

The Humachine album by Voide will be available on CDBABY and iTunes (among many other music sites) in January 2009.

I hope that you look forward to this release as much as I do!

Be cool, take care and stay tuned!
