Yo, Chris Lawrence (sin city all star) is out playing pedal steel and guitar with Mike Ness from Social Distortion.

On the drums, as of this week, is non other than Mr. Dave Raven, snakehandler, sin city all star... bad ass.

Go see them, it's almost as good as having me there. ;)

Well, the Los Angeles Magazine "Best Of LA" issue is on the news stand and I don't know what to say. For once, I'll be quiet and just try to go honor this with some work and some shows and quit trying to dodge my music career... click the cover to read who they picked... I'll give you one guess.

How do you spell it? Who knows? Anyways.. yesterday, Danny Bonaduce (yeah, that one) did a segment on the Adam Carolla show where they picked songs to play at their funeral's. Danny picked our version of "People Who Died". Kinda rad and we're ready to play the event live, once he sets the date...Lord knows there are people out there waiting for him to. Rock on "Duce". F^&k 'em, you can be the Keith Richards of Talk Radio... ;)

Yo, I was on Scott Ford's radio show last week on littleradio.com. He's hilarious and got me to talk about some stuff that I think is important, in addition to some stuff that is just silly and offensive... lol (Offensive T-Shirt Day @ Disneyland)

Hope you enjoy it, it's long, but if you want to just chill and enjoy some great rock and roll tunes check it out... I'll post an edit of it in a day or so for those of you who just wanna hear the yappin...

Warning... adult topics and language. lol as if you couldn't guess.

Go to Scott's site and get the podcast from 4/27/07

So, I went to a party last night for the premiere of MTV's Wrestling Society X... big fun, crazy people... but really nice folks. Word is that the "Trailer Park Boyz" are debuting in their first match in 2 weeks, so that's fun. I got to meet "White Trash" Johnny Webb, who is hilarious and played a game of "Big Dude, or Wrestler?" wherein I try to pick out who's on the show and who's just a big dude at the party. I think it oughta be a computer quiz game. I lost miserably although it's pretty easy to guess when a guy weighs 350 lbs and has tattoos all over his head... wait, this is LA, that guy was the bartender...

And Ted and the rest of the guys were a blast too. It was like a Hollywood High School reunion at the El Rey. Made us all feel good to see some of our crowd rockin' it for a big crowd... ya shoulda been there.

Ok, we're live for 9pm this Wed. the 29th. If you wanna come, (it's a fill in show) just email guestlist@snakehandlersmusic.com with your name and number of guests in the subject line. (example - bob jones+2)

It should be cool, kinda weird, it's a porn DVD release party so that might be good for some laughs... We plan to keep our heads down and rock. peace.

Ok, I didn't mean to start a big deal... I was just ranting, (like I do) on something that I believed in... kinda spur of the moment, kinda goofy...but, as it seems to happen to me, someone got ahold of it and, um... it's in Blender Magazine this month. I reposted it just because I thought it was so damn funny.

The Montgomery Gentry fans are p.o.'d about all this, but the truth is, I'm not about anything but what is right. This doesn't take away one bit of the good that MG has done for our troops and all that. I'm just sayin' that I don't like what he did and frankly, I, myself, don't like their music. That's it. You may know them, you may think they are great Americans and all that. But the great thing about America is that I can say whatever I feel, and believe whatever I want to. That video I did was just my opinion and it's my God given/American protected right to express it.

If I do something as dumb as he did, I hope y'all will tell me so. I make and have made a lot of mistakes in my day. But I have also been taught to make amends for them and admit it when I'm wrong. I think if you stay accountable and honest with folks, you won't get too far off track. The minute you start trying to fool people, you're lost as an artist.

Y'all keep me honest, will ya?

oh yeah, and here's the video.
