Hello gents,
We at Kaykorb Isskit regret to inform you that due to artistic differences and a host of other reasons, Alex Tinkler has resigned from the band. We would like to wish Alex all the best in his future endeavors.

However, Kaykorb Isskit plan to continue as soon as we set ourselves up with another bass player.

Kind Regards,
Tom, Toby and Chief

An update on some of the wacky stuff thats happened to Kaykorb Isskit today XD

Shockingly, after moshing through a well known track of ours at band today, Toms guitar FX pedal actually CRASHED!!!  I didnt think this was possible... the last chord tom played before it crashed kept on repeating with the same reverb over n over...

Also, whoever Toby works for... give the guy a fucking break, hes about to become a rockstar! ... they will know what i mean by this :)

Thankyou, Alex

Unfortunately our fellow band member Nick had his bass stolen!!!!!!
He has been politely moved off bass to founder a new instrument known as the keyboard. In his replacement, we cant be doing without that funky bass riff for our band, therefore welcome the Mr Alex Tinkler into the band!

We are looking to book a gig early May, any offers please ask.

Thats all for now!

Well up to this point our main goal for the forthcoming weeks is going to be the aim of getting tight on everything we do - Covers, OWN MATERIAL, etc

Would help if anyone could let us know some really awesome gig venues in Sheffield that we could stand a chance of playing at. Also we would like to know of any bands wishing to gig with us, feel more than welcome to ask! We want as many gigs as possible in the coming month or two so please ask.

Good evening guys and gals, and welcome to another addition of Kaykorb Isskit's award winning MySpace Blog. Any questions you may have about the nature and content of this post may be directed at the Chief, who as we speak is sitting at his laptop with his typing fingers poised.

Anyway, there's already been a post on the site about how our debut gig went by the above mentioned Chief. However i thought i might as well include some of my own thoughts on the subject.
After getting set up on stage and waiting for the soundmen to get the levels right, i set to the annoyingly hard task of trying to stick lyrics onto my mic stand with chewing gum. No easy feat i tell you. Next time i may opt for the slightly better blue-tac however at the time i was improvising.
First two songs went off like a treat and dispelled any nerves that were felt all round. Biggest pop of the night was Tobe belting into the first few bars of "I believe in a thing called love" by The Darkness, only to stop dead afterwards to deliver some Wonder Stuff song the crowd had never heard of. Oh they werent happy campers.
A rather lackluster ending followed and then we were off. All in all a solid performance for our first time. A few fuck ups but nothing noticable (unless i told everyone so).
Thanks must go to the soundmen for making us sound decent enough to not get glass thrown at us, the other bands whose equipment we used and the crowd for turning up and for giving us a better reception then we perhaps deserved. Kay-Korb-Iss-Kit chants are all ways a winner...

Also since the Arches gig we've recorded one of our tracks and put it up on the site. I say our track, its actually written by the Levellers but i think we do a pretty good version.
On the subject of the track. Just so you know its not a professional recording. Infact it was done in the Chief's back room, so the quality aint brilliant. Also i absoloutly hate the vocals. Hopefully ill get a chance to redo them and make it sound less distant.

Anyway im all out of things to say. Stay tuned for news of gigs and recorded tracks.

Tom (Kaykorb Isskit)
