Current mood:  thankful
After 4 years of practicing 3 days a week, touring, recording and doing what we love, it's come to a sad end.

Thanks to everyone who supported us, put us up, came to a show, bought a shirt or told someone that we were worth a listen.

We destroyed 3 vans, crippled our overdrafts and tried our very hardest to do this for as long as we could. This has been a life changing experience for us all and I cannot imagine a better way of living your life.

Anyone who's been in band will appreciate that trying to do this full time is fucking difficult. It takes commitment, compromise and dedication. But sometimes even that's not enough.

The Mirimar Disaster was a band that wrote music that pleased themselves and didn't give a fuck whether you liked it or not. The fact that people did was a bonus and for that we are very gratefull. We wern't a fashion band, a metal band or a ripp off. Just 5 dudes trying to write original, interesting music and working to live our life on the road.

We've put all the tracks up from our last release 'Volumes', so for those who didn't buy the record can still listen to it. It's something we are immensely proud of and huge thanks to Jason Sanderson for making it sound better than any of us could have imagined. We also have a tonne of shirts left, we'll be selling it off cheap as fuck very soon for anyone that gives a shit.

Thanks again to everyone and keep a look out for new bands forming in the future.
