To be a New York City firefighter
is one of the most heroic careers a person can have.
It is also one of the most dangerous,
especially since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

Be firefighter woman~Until 1977,
women were not allowed to apply for jobs as firefighters in New York City
FDNY Capt. Brenda Berkman was the First!

Now my Poem About Fire Man!

I am Fireman

I am only one in town
When I am around
Put out your fire
And give you your heart desire

Put out you're hot flame
You're one smokin' dame
Everybody knows me by my first name
I can cool em down while they're smolderin hot

The woman love what I got!

I know first aide
Can fix broken heart with band ~aide
CPR my excuse to kiss the girls
My lips so hot make their toes curl

With a little mouth-to-mouth they are ready to go
I let you ring my bell
Slide down my pole
You can pet my spotted dog
Up and down on my old ladder

I got red fire engine truck
If you're in luck
I will pick you up
Take you for a ride
On the wild side

When you get too hot
I can hose you down
Just call 9 – 1 – 1
Hon

I am all man you need
You will see!
Yes I am Your Fireman!

All Greek To ME

The Greeks devised a new ruse
 A giant wooden horse
But in the hollow side
Selected numbers of their soldiers hide
Greek army appeared to leave
But actually hid behind the horse’s knee
Of course
Trojans thought is was a gift
Despite the warning of Helen
The Trojans hugely celebrated
 The end of the siege
They were so relieved
 They were caught drunken stupor
And their pants down
They whip their ass
All men were killed
Woman and children taken as slave
It was great victory that day!

Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth

The proverb
Refers to the practice of evaluating the age
Of a horse by looking at its teeth
Don’t be ungrateful when you receive a gift

But maybe they should of?

Hot summer winds pick up

Clouds moving fast

Storm is brewing in the East

Soon will not be desirable  for man or beast

..

Desert land needs to quench it thirst

As my horse and I at worst

..

As I ride upon my horse dapple gray

It has been long trying day

Good Idea to stop at the Arbon Café

No time to delay

..

 For me, Cold beer

Sweet water for my horse so dear

Little peace of heaven in this hell

Arbon Café I sit for a spell

..

Thunder rolls in and Rain begins to fall

Old Jo and Moe having their yearly brawl

Martha in the kitchen with her wooden spoon

Mangy dog scratch fleas at the Café at noon

..

Stagecoach no longer exist

Gunfighters are dismissed

No more saloon girls to kiss

At the Arbon Café just their ghostly mist

..

Desert land needs to quench it thirst

As my horse and I at worst

Socks

MY SOCKS

I just love my stripe socks

I wear them to get the mail

I wear them in a boat with a sail

I have stripey socks for summer and fall

I have pink pair wear to the mall

 I wear them at church

I wear them eating ocean perch

I wear them on pirate ship

I wear them when I skinny dip

I have socks in a box

I wear them to the zoo to see a fox

I wear them when I wind the clock

I wear them when I pick of sailors on the dock

I wear them planting flowers in my window box

I even wore them when I had the chicken pox

I wore them playing with my building blocks

I even wore them chasing roster cocks

Don't be so shock!

I could of said something else ~wink

I know how you think

I even wore them when I was three

I wear them climb the maple tree

I have some go above my knee

Red ~ Green ~Blue

 Pink ~Yellow ~Purple too!

If you only knew

Black ~ Brown Just Few

 Orange ~ Gray

I change my Socks Twice a Day!

At night I do pray

That I don't get holes in my sock toes

Or in my panty hoses

 Stripy Socks Stripy Socks

DIRTY SOCKS

Dirty sock on the floor

One I found behind the door

White one, black one, and stripe ones and more

Another dirty sock this one tore.

Was making soup found one in the pot

Now this has to stop.

Found another sock with pink spots

And I found one with the broom and mop

Here a Sock

There is a Sock

Everywhere a Sock

Dirty Socks Dirty Socks

I sound like Dr. Seuss

When is this going to STOP!

Lady Sunflower Pedals Are Drooping

I guess I could say I am okay with my life

I have two loving daughters

I am no longer any man's wife

I wish I could look like when I was twenty-two

And be as healthy too!

Of course, I have Liberty T Bone

To keep me from being alone

Then there are my Parents that live at home

I have younger sister

She thinks I am twisted

I have couple dear girlfriends

To play pirate with me

One that does not even comprehend

That's okay she love to drink tea with me

Come back ask me in year 2009

I really don't want complain

Or whine

But, I know if I had problem

You take the time

To listen to me rant and rage

I need take deep breath

Pour nice glass of wine

It almost dinnertime

Food always makes me feel better

I think I need change of the weather

Yes, come back ask me in year 2009

How I am doing?

If I am fine?

Maybe, I can tell you the truth this time!

Note I took this picture

Of my daughter and her friend walking
In the rain on sight seeing in April

Poem I worte  was about this Picture

April Rain

Best friends walking in the California April rain

On wooden board walk

By the seashore

Looking for the first open shop door

..

Ducking in the chocolate shop

For double dip ice cream cone

Glad to be with each other

Not have to walk alone

..

Arm and arm

Full of laughter

Not care in the world

Ice cream dripping in swirl

..

California April rain

Washes way any doubts and pain

Young Couple share the umbrella

They are like a modern story of Cinderella

My Gramma' Hands

Hands Of My Gramma
She use to teach me how to knit
Of course, I loose a stitch
 Or two
She was always patience with me
Even if I cried
She say it's okay just try
She passed away
That was very sad day
But on my bed is knit spread
With her loving hands she made
When I close my eyes to sleep
In my heart memories I keep
We use talk about all her adventurers
When I was pregnant with my daughters
She made little booties and blankets
Which now are put away
For someday
When my daughters have children of their own
I miss her so
It is was hard to write
With tears falling
The wind howling
Thinking back when I was young
She was old wise woman
She made the best ginger man
Taught me how to bake
Cookies, Chicken and Cake
Taught me how to make garden to grow
Catch firefly in jar watch them glow
Make a wish when we let them go
I miss my gramma so!

If Love's a Sweet Passion

Why Does it Torment So?

Cupid is also know as Cupido

Is the god of erotic love

I really think he stupido

And careless with his arrows

He is a lively youth

Who never grows old

He delights himself in pranks

I think his heart is made of gold

He is a nude winged boy

And he is fickle and blind

He is suppose to spreading love

He not very kind

And he not helping mankind

He is often depicted

As carrying two sets of arrows

One gold inspire love

One lead inspire hate

Which are very narrow

He spreads this love sickness

My symptoms are fever of 103

Tearfulness and depression

Throwing up in toilet

On my knees

If Love's a Sweet Passion

Why does it torment so?

I feel like the walking dead

I didn't ask for a beau

Cupid take your arrows

And stick them in you arse

I don't need this pain

You're making me insane

If this is love

I am sick and tired of your bullshit

So when Valentine comes along

I am not going to

Believe your Dance or song

Black Rose

 My Valentine's  Toxic  Rose

A new meaning of Roses are Red

Sniff my petals you'll turn blue

Prick by thorn you start to drool

U.S. is a great Power

Requires imported flowers

To be bug -free

So you see

You probably should wear

 Gas mask for fresh air

Flowers not tested

For chemical residues

So now, they are infested

When you give her the rose

Tell her not to sniff them with her nose

Or she might decompose

Happy Valentine's to you

This is true

I give you my adieu

Masquerade by ~-sylph- on deviantART

Masquerade New Mask

I wear a mask upon my face

I am a witness of brutal crime

I hide my face from human race

I was wrong time and wrong place

Looking out my bedroom window

Time was little pass nine

Blood splatter on my windowpane

Like gentle Spring rain

I wanted to scream

Man with soulless eyes

Covered with blood

I did spied

This man

This beast

Was insane

Butcher knife gleam

In the full moon light

I am not safe

At least not to night

Until this mad man is behind bars

My life turn upside down

I will never be who I was

The wind blew

With eerie sound

Can't see my family or friends

Evil lurks around every bend

I wish to be on planet Jupiter or mars

Another galaxy beyond the stars

I hide behind this mask with fear

I wipe my eyes there are no more tears

The victim died that night

But now I live the victim's life

He is out there running free

Doing has he damn well please

I hide behind this mask

Not knowing who long

It will have to last

Police called me before the sun rose

They found the man

I am needed in court for witness stand

I took a deep breath in and out my nose

There be line up

Now it is my turn to show and tell

He made my life living hell

I hide my face behind

Black piece of glass

At last

I see the man standing there

His eyes dark and black

Like his soul matter of fact

I point my finger

Nod my head up and down

Evil grin form on his face

I only frown

I think I keep my mask

Until I know, he will fry

Or maybe when he takes

His last breathe and dies

Yes, I wear this mask upon my face

To hide from the whole human race

Because I was in the wrong place

I know of Pirate

Name Violet
Her hair color of the setting sun
Her eyes are color of old aged rum
She is not like the shrinking violet kind
Indeed not at all
Like the violet, thrive under a variety of conditions
She stay true to pirate traditions
Glistening sword in her hand
Dagger in her worn leather boot
Loaded pistol in her belt
She deadeye mark on what ever she shoots
Sails the ship upon open sea
With right man Violet can be
Sweet and Mellow
She will watch your back
There not bone in her that's yellow
Violet has heart of gold
She"ll share her hard tack even if it got mold
Get that deck swabbed, she'll earn her pay
Up the riggings, she likes to stay
Get the ropes, wer're bout to set sail
If a storm brewin Violet will be right next to you to bail
She likes to tease the cabin boys
Tell them not make so much noise
Her faithful old yellow dog
Also drinks grog
The crew thinks she be insane
On the ship she never complain
Yes, I know Pirate name Violet
We sail ocean waves
We be after the treasure, which our heart craves
Blood sisters are we
Banshee of the sea
Pinky swears with smile and wink
We blow yer ship to smithereens and not even blink
We wear bloomer with lace eyelet
Under black flag, you find Violet

Sleeping with a Sunflower

Sliver moon disappears

Another night it will reappear

Sun rises in his glory for all to see

Listen to the little bumblebee

Sunflower wakes with a yawn

Pink, red and orange is the color of dawn

Following the sun and its path of light

I see your beauty is shining so bright

Reaches her leaves up to the sky

Not thinking of winter when she will die

Standing tall above all others

With all her sisters and brothers

Standing straight as an arrow

Dancing around you is a sparrow

Your petals are so yellow

And your leaves dark green

How very easy you are seen

All in row by the garden wall

Be careful not to be Humpy Dumpy

Because he had great fall

The little birds get so much delight

Eating your seed from day to night

Sunflower crazed with the love of light

What a sight

When the sunsets and the moon rises

The sunflower closes her eyes

Now we say are goodnight

And your good byes

The sunflower will need her sleep

Because tomorrow she will travel with the sun

Another day will come

Filled with laughter and fun

Sleeping with a sunflower

Here the first one

Ghost Ship by ~Darkquette on deviantART

Far Away Out Of Touch

When the cawing of crows signaled the end of winter

Full moon high above me

Sneak a peaks through the

Fog as thick as maple syrup

Drift over the dark brooding sea

Carefully I step upon the slippery rocks

I watch for my lovers ship

As stars guide The Sea Hag

 Across the barrier strip

It sail faraway and out of touch

One more tears drop falls in the sea

As it sail faraway and out of touch

I am going miss him so much

So faraway and out of touch

I am going miss him so very much

Long before the teardrop falls          (chi_shanay)
From the void of my solitude              (numbstruck)
The Winter Full Moon "shone" down
"Bathed" me in her ray
I am the Lady of the Lake Water Fay

King Arthur broke is sword one dark gloomy day

It was me who gave him Excalibur

Twinkled with diamond sparks

When you swing the mighty sword

 It sang like morning lark

Words engraved on the blade

"Take me up"

"Cast me away"

I will never let you go astray

A calmness and peacefulness washes over me      (  Josikibear)

Purifies me to my very soul                                  (insatiable jewel)

As I Baptize, you with cool salt water

I will heal mortally wounds away

To hide you from evil intruder

On my magical island

Travel to Other world Avalon

Far away, out of touch (Lady"Cheryl"Death)

Where everyone wears

Shimmering, white robes of the purest samite

Where you Never be again inflicted smite
