Hi Everyone!

Tony and I are busy making behind the scenes preparations for the release of new CD titled, "Peaceful World."  We're ramping up the social networking scene and we're trying out some great features from iLike to help get the word out about the music.  We hope you enjoy the new features.  Let us know what you think.

Peace,

Steven

Hi everyone,

I'm getting ready to head into the studio now to mix another song off the new CD "Peaceful World" this afternoon, the song,  "I'm not at war with anyone". After today I will have nine songs completed and mixed and one other song finished and waiting to be mixed. For a total of TEN songs. Next week I start recording the last batch of tunes, to have this CD completed by the end of the year. As of this moment I have no idea if I am recording 1, 2, 3 or 4 more songs. I have four songs written and waiting to be put on the CD but money and time are sitting heavy on my shoulders. What should I do?

I would love to hear from everyone about their thoughts about this. Do you want a 11, 12, 13 or 14 song CD? If 14 songs, how long are you willing to wait for it to be completed? Should I just release it RIGHT NOW as a 10 song CD? AH, HELP, I am spinning my wheels and I need to make a decision by next Tuesday the 29th. That day I will either mix the last of the ten songs and be done and put the CD out NOW or start RECORDING 1-4 more songs by laying down the rhythm guitar tracks for the new tunes. Putting the CD out hopefully by the end of the year or at least by spring of 2010. Thanks everyone and I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi everyone,

SONiA of Disappear Fear came in to the studio and sang harmony on "Peaceful World" & "I'm not at war". Of course she sounded AWSOME!!! These songs are done and ready to be mixed!
We are also almost done mixing "Goodbye New Orleans". Next Monday I'm back in the studio to finish the mix and begin mixing "Roving Gypsy Boy" or "I'm not at War". Once those three songs are done mixing in the next couple weeks, I will have 9 songs complete and will begin recording the final few songs. Getting closer...............

Thanks for reading!!

Dear friends,

More progress made the other day as we finished tracking for two more songs. Besides some added percussion by Marco, my pal Jamie Daly came and added some mandolin to the tunes "Roving Gypsy Boy" & "Goodbye New Orleans". He never fails to blow me away with his talent, besides the fact he is a real nice guy and very funny!

Also Margot Macdonald came and sang some truly extraordinary harmonies on the same two songs as well. Wow, what a talent she is! A very, very enjoyable day in the studio.

I'm looking forward to the new Harry Potter movie this week too!

Yesterday a very nice man named Tom Dews came to the studio to lay down some very fine harmonica on the tunes "Peaceful World", "I'm not at war with anyone" and "Goodbye, New Orleans". Awesome! I love harmonica and very much wanted it's presence on the new political CD. Tom was just terrific and I look forward to working with him again in the future! Very happy with the way things are sounding. Thanks for reading everyone!

Hi everyone,
I was in the studio the other day and we brought in a new musician Daniel Schwartz to play percussion. He was terrific and a real nice guy. He played congas on "Goodbye, New Orleans" and played Cajon on "The Roving Gypsy Boy". I think I am going to use him again for the final batch on tunes I will record over the summer. Marco also laid down some bass on "Goodbye ,New Orleans" as well. Progress is being made, I am on track to have this CD out this year!! Woo Hoo! As always thanks for reading....
