there will be no more Kill Cartel for the forseeable future.
we may be back in some form or another at some point...who knows...
unfortunately we've had to cancel out last gig - so if you were at the Brentwood Theatre a few weeks ago - that was our last gig!
just also like to say thanks to anyone who offered us any sort of support - thanks.

The dates in Europe on 10-12 April have had to be cancelled due to my on-going health problems. I am really sorry about this, but I am not in any way able to get out and play at the moment. We also had to pull out of the Oxjam Festival in Essex on 5 April, which was a real shame. I’m hoping we can re-schedule the dates for later in the year, but for the time being the KC Rock Machine is... resting. The scientific, curious or perverted among you can email me for a tiresome explanation of what i’ve got, if you like. I’ve become something of an expert in lungs over the last few weeks. Maybe I can write a song about it...
Keep on truckin’
Jimmy

Hey all,
The gigs from last week will both be re-scheduled, sorry for any inconvenience. I got hit with a serious lung infection, so instead of standing on stage I was sitting in hospital. Not cool, but unavoidable.
We've just booked a couple more shows in Essex and will be announcing more soon, both in the UK and Europe.
Our record will be out before too long. There's been a few issues there, but we are winning the the war, so stay patient.
While I'm recuperating at home I'm listening to alot of new music. I highly recommend you check out Who The Bitch, Red Bacteria Vacuum, Tsu Shi Ma Mi Re, Invasion, Pristine, Les Anges & Supenik. Yes, I'm seriously into Japanese girl punk bands. I've also got Every Time I Die, Clutch, Rocket From The Crypt, Cancer Bats and Refused on constant rotation. It's the best medicine I can think of.
That's all for now, more news as soon as it happens.
Jimmy

The video for "BLOOD RED" is finished and will be hitting your screens in the new year. It was directed and produced by Imran Naqvi from Levelheaded Productions... There's much more news coming up regarding the single release, in good time.
KILL CARTEL played a live acoustic session on Phoenix FM on 19 Dec. "RIOT ZONE" from that show is now posted for you to check out.
There's a few new reviews of things we've done on the internet, and we've posted a few on our site too. We've also put some photos up from recent shows in London.
The band are in the studio throughout January, then exploding back into your senses at the end of the month. Stay tuned for that.

There's a new review in the excellent USA fanzine Sleazegrinder.
Sleazegrinder (USA) Long-standing Sleazegrinder readers may remember our affection for scruffy, bubblegummy UK sleaze rockers the Roolettes. Well, forget about 'em, wipe them from your memory, because the same fellas are back with a rougher sound and a meaner name – Kill Cartel. Their opening salvo is a 6-song assault of high-tensile arena-sleaze, heavy on GN'R style scorch and fist-throwing choruses. The bleary-eyed savagery of "Blood Red" is the clear monster of the bunch, but not to worry, the whole thing snaps at you like an angry dog after the mailman. Welcome back to the jungle, fellas. http://www.sleazegrinder.com/SleazeCDS.htm

We've recorded more new tracks, some of which we'll use as B-Sides on the "Blood Red" release, and others we'll hold back. Everything was again recorded at Alchemy in London, and produced by Kenny Jones. We'll post 2 of the new tracks, "Automatic" and "The Jackal" for you to check out.
Plenty more gigs, news etc coming soon, as well as a new video for "Blood Red" which we're shooting in a couple of weeks.

We were 'Demo of the Week' in the Organ magazine a little while back, but we only just found out about it. Here's what they said:
KILL CARTEL - No messing, back to basics mean lean angry low slung urgent fast indie-edged punk rock n'roll. Heard it all before in a good kind of way – would you like that bullet in your head now? Sounds like it'd be a blast to be in this band, kind of get ya rocks off attitude and primal screaming and low slung bass playing and you've maybe heard this a million times, but hey sounds like they'd be a blast live, sound like they'd be a blast to be in. Heavy enough to satisfy the stomping metalheads, four no messing tracks that have emerged out of the ashes of London punkers The Roolettes and powered by one time Deadbeat Radical six string slinger Ed - www.myspace.com/killcartel
