Lili Refrain is a roman OneWomanGuitarBand and is active since December 2006.
After numerous solipsism experiments to orchestrate her countless
emotions, Lili arrived in the territories of the loop and can no longer
separate. Using only her guitar, her voice and the elusive red pedal
(loop station RC-2), overlapping phrases sound building thick carpets
on which to improvise instinctively or in "reasoned" the other.
After serious consideration about the powerful effects of the sounds she products such as: sensory sinking, kidnapping in vortices, blurred vision, gradual loss of brain power and thought in
favor of a high emotional thickening of the column, she decided to self defining
her gender as SHIPPINGHEAD, english translation of the very most appropriate sicilian term: SCIPPATESTA.
Her main influences are her childhood, the music of the'70s
psychedelic backdrop, her unhealthy teenage, CHAOS A.D., a number of various metal guitar virtuous , her balance and new imbalances, some operas
in nineteenth lirico dramatic backdrop,György Ligeti and its hypnotic
and enchanting micropolifony, some minimalism and all things, animal
or person who found a way to disturb her senses.
Having started with a big scream in front of the altar of
the basilica of St. John Lateran during a performance for SEVEN WORDS,
opera written and directed by Maestro Cristiano Serino, Lili decides to
investigate more thoroughly the boundless universe of vocal faculty,
research and studying various techniques such as harmonic singing,
popular song and opera singing, which she uses to dramatize sometimes
ironically so other poignant palette of her emotions.
She never studied guitar, but from an early age has always been the
instrument to which she had a deep sympathy, as far back as 1993 when
Lili met its first six-string an incrdibile stroke of
lightning not separated anymore. Her virtuosity and improvement of some techniques are not from any study, but only by
unconditional and huge dose of love.

In December 2007 she passes three days in Rome at Hombrelobo
Studio with Valerio Fisik to the mixer with which record what became his first cdr,
a black jewel self packed and seld distributed.
And 'round now she's returned in the same studio to record what will became her second ambitious work: NOVE (nine)
