GREEEEETINGS Friends of Stillfire!!!!!!!

Wow what a year! We have just finished our long awaited full length album "Here Lies the wounded". To our loyal long-time fans the single "Midnight", from our new CD, is being made available for you to download on MySpace for a limited time.

Some of you may remember our EP "The Wounded" that we sold online and at shows for $5.00. Well, 'Here Lies the Wounded' completes our earlier EP and has some of the newer songs plus some of the older ones but like you've never heard them before!  Why is that?  Well we have had a few years to perfect them and a few years to save to have them professionally recorded.  This is the complete product we have been working on since 2005.

We are offering for a very limited time, and only for those of you who have been with us this far, our MP3 version of "Here Lies the Wounded"  for a special low price of 5.99!  Included with this is all the artwork, and a bonus track of a very different, early version, of 'Rain' called 'Rainfalldown'. This special price is only available until October 23rd. After that the price goes back to the already incredible 1980s price of 7.99. Buy MP3 Version Here

Another option is to pre-order the CD, which will be out on November 1st.  We are discounting the price on all pre-orders made before October 31st.  The pre-order price is 9.99.  Once we receive the shipment of CD's on November 1st, we will begin mailing them out to all of you who have ordered them.  We also have combo packages for sale  that include a Stillfire T-shirt.  Pre-Order CD Here

 One more note for those of you who have been with us for a while. We want to let you know of a minor change that we are implementing regarding Megan. Due to the nature of her job, and for purposes of providing a bit of a buffer for that, she will be credited and referred to in the future by a stage name, 'Ember'. Of course all of you will always know her as Megan!

After a very long time waiting, we will finally complete our full length LP "...here lies the wounded".  It has some of the songs that our EP, "The Wounded", had but professionally recorded and produced.  We also have new releases.

We have been in the studio the last two months fine tuning and making sure that when it is released it will be well worth the wait, the money, and the time spent on it.  We have a great studio, great producer, and a great graphic artist and photographer that are all pitching in to make this a killer release. We are sooooo excited to share! 

There will be links on our site shortly that will allow you to reserve your copy before it is even released.  The anticipated release date is sometime mid October.  Once this has been released you can expect to see us playing shows again.....and we are dying to get out there!

On April 25th, non-profit INVISIBLE CHILDREN will be staging a global event in an effort to rescue the 3,000 child soldiers in Uganda, and we are part of a coalition of bands/musicians creating awareness online to make this a huge success via Biggestlabelever.com and Causecast.org.

In support of The Rescue we are giving away a free download of our song "I'm Yours" on biggestlabelever.com. Please visit the site and download our song as well as hundreds of other artists for FREE after registering and learn about the April 25th event in the process.

Whew!!  What a productive, busy and fun summer we've had!!  We got to meet so many amazing people, creative, and crazy-cool people.  Brilliant!!
Summer 2008 saw us traveling up and down the Northwest playing all kinds of music festivals, including the Gorge Amphitheatre, Tomfest, X-fest, Xtreme Tour and so many other amazing shows.  We got to play with the likes of Flyleaf, Destroy The Runner, Red, as well as some very talented showcase bands.
Through this experience, Stillfire is ready to shift gears a little bit and take our music to the next level.  After such a productive year (We have played 50+ shows!), we've decided to take a couple months and break from shows while we work on new material and "spread our wings" a bit in this crazy music industry. 
Be sure to watch for upcoming shows and some new music intended to turn you inside out.

We have really grown as musicians and as friends and we want to thank all of our fans for their continued support.  We would not have had the amazing experience we've had thus far if it weren't for you!!  STAY TUNED...

Due to all of the support of our friends and fans, we won the Battle of the Bands, at the Rock n Roll Pizza, last night.  Thank you all for your support! 

We will now move onto a final round in which we could win, not only some cash but also some studio time in a professional studio as well as a submission to a major record label. 

The date, time, and location of the finals is not yet known but we will keep you posted when it becomes available.

Again we really are honored by your support and helping us to go further in this experience.

We hope to see you again soon!
