Holy shit, people! I just heard about the new Tom Morello/Boots Riley project Street Sweeper and am completely blown away by the possibilities! Everyone knows who Tom Morello is, but you should also know Boots Riley. If you don't, check out The Coup. The Coup is an amazing rap, funk and soul band from Oakland CA. I was blown away by them on the Rock the Bells tour a couple years ago. Boots is an amazing lyricist and super cool frontman. Together with Morello they are recording songs for the Revolution and I'm completely stoked to hear what happens next. I LOVE IT WHEN NEW MUSIC IGNITES MY CONSCIOUSNESS!

I have applied piles of whore-ish makeup and donned my slutty clothes and am about to go to the studio to meet Tawdry to get our equipment before the drive to Ben Lomond where we get to play with dear friends the Groovy Judy Band and party with the hotties in Here Kitty Kitty. Yes!

Oh my friends, have you noticed I'm not in the Bay Area? It's true, right now I am in sunny Mexico getting hippified at an amazing retreat. Seriously, I am so relaxed, meditated, veggified and affirmed right now I hardly recognize myself. I will come back a kinder, gentler, more relaxed drag queen. Do you believe me?

Seriously, I'm having an amazing time off. First I went to the UK for two weeks and stayed in amazing little cottage in the country and played in the first big snow they've had in 20 years. Then I jetted off to Mexico for down time with yoga, meditation and vegetarian food. After this, D'ang is meeting me on the beach in Cancun for 7 days of sun before I coming back to my glorious life at home.

Love and miss you all--can't wait to see you in March. Look for me to be sporting a serene glint in my eye and a fierce tan.

We do have some more shows coming up in March and April. We're negotiating a date for the CWD video release in March, which is freaking amazing. Then we are going to play for the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence again this year on Easter morning in Dolores Park. In June we are doing a mini tour with the incomparable Kelly and the Kelly Girls from Toronto. You will be stunned by their magnificence. So looking forward to seeing you all again!

Oh yeah, it's so good! Today we wrapped shooting on our amazing video for CWD. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Neon Sky Films. Jenny, Sput and Marcia are the best people to work with and we adore them. What's so great is that, not only does the video look super hot, but we have gotten to share this creative experience with people we have grown to treasure. It's those connections that are what this is all about for me, personally. Connecting with people through our music. It wild to think that this video we've made will outlast all of us, but it's a timeless classic so I'm sure it will stand the test of time. Special thanks to Z Barn on Valencia. They let us shoot in their store for two days, while their customers stepped over cables, around lights and past trannies. Note to self: if you open a business always have a hot trannie up front--it really brings in the potential customers! Special thanks again to Sue Casa, LaMay and Britney, who all really brought the hot fun to each day of shooting. So, from here, we will have a rough draft by the end of this week and then a final product in February. We are currently planning a premiere party for March. Five years, bitches! We're really excited about playing for you with our good friends Groovy Judy and Stella Royale, and also about the stripper cake. What makes it so darn tasty? The secret ingredient is tiny droplets of sweat delicately bottled at the source: Mount Cleavage. Special guest former B-cups head axwoman Holly Hawks. Wowsers!

Yesterday we filmed at my office. Extra special thanks to my CEO for agreeing to let us film there and for not asking too many questions. How would he feel if he knew I was half naked in his office? Apologies to the custodial staff: I know it looks like we were filming a porn movie - we weren't, I swear! Also apologies to the woman who tried to come pee while we were filming in the bathroom. I know that's not what you expected to see.

The amazing crew at Neon Sky films are so easy to work with. They are patient, creative, brilliant and fun. Everyone should work with them! Also I want to give a lot of love to Lisa who has helped so much with the wardrobe for the shoot and who made us look fantastic for day 2.

LeMay: OMG I will be your naughty secretary any time. It doesn't even have to be on film. Thank you so much.

Judalicious: I'm going to make you wear that security guard uniform all the time but you have to promise to bring the nightstick and handcuffs.
