The new Asakura figure is out. Somehow, you would think that I wouldn't be interested in this, but the figure looks really good. Even with the knife. I hope Canada is nice. A complete review along with some really nice photos are below: http://www.foobarbaz.jp/figure/2007/f_max_asakura/max_asakura.html

I am often conflicted on how much I should really post here. On one hand I find so many interesting things on the net. Humans have an infinite capacity to amaze me in their daily activities. On the other hand, I realize, to the casual observer, the links I post here might give people the impression that Japanese are...well, crazy. I assure you, aside from a certain High School girl, most Japanese are quite normal. Maybe. Perhaps the answer is that just people in Tokyo are crazy. Down in Kansai we are much more normal. Anyway, here is a link to Akibablog, which features an image of Haruhi cosplayers wandering the streets. Akibablog contains ads and images that are not suitable for minors, so don't click on the link, OK? http://www.akibablog.net/archives/img-ox/2007-11-05-404.html

Now I know what the big secret was. Lucky Star...is coming to America? That show is pretty...um...well, do you think American fans are going to understand it? There is a Lucky Channel already set up for the US on Myspace? Haruhi knew about all of this and she didn't say anything! I bet if I ask Asahina, all I'd get is "that's confidential!"
In any case, if you are interested...

It seems that we have finally arrived at a critical moment in history. I find it interesting that despite it being a critical moment, that not much is actually happening. I am ready to go in to school today. I will probably hang out in the SOS Brigade clubroom. I will enjoy Asahina's tea. Still, I can't help feeling like today is important...as if, we've reached a turning point.
In any case, all of the fine ASOS Brigade members will finally get to see the Volume 4 DVD for the show.
What? You've already seen it? I don't really understand how this all works. All I know is that there is very important information on that DVD, and no, I don't have a compy myself, so I can't tell you anything.

Today is proving to be a busy day. All I can leave you with today are cosplayers from my favorite fan photographer. Scroll down the page to find what I'm talking about. http://kirinon.exblog.jp/m2007-10-01/

OK, this time I have the right day. I guess today is the day when non-cosplayers get to wear costumes. So in the US, what do cosplayers do on Halloween? That aside, I found this picture interesting. I guess someone at Bandai Namco Games is showing off a feature of the PSP game. This link goes to Akibablog, which contains material not suitable for those under 18, OK? http://www.akibablog.net/archives/img-ox/2007-10-30-100.html

I guess Halloween is big in the US. As for me, well, honestly it just seems like cosplay, and I see Asahina in a different costume all the time, so I guess I don't think much of it.
Ooops. This message is for tomorrow. Anyway, I don't know if I should be in the business of rating these AMV, but I thought this one was at least worth mention.

For almost a year now I've had the excuse to sit around the clubroom, drink Asahina's tea and surf the web, because of all of these AMV people have made. I mean, I'm not comfortable with the spread of Haruhiism around the world...but I do find them entertaining. I think that Haruhi appreciates all of these AMV that people make too, since it only seems to further her cause.
In any case, I digress. Are my internal monologues getting that predictable?
Back to the subject. I was watching more AMV on that community video website that rhymes with Moo Cube when I stumbled upon this. Long winded sarcasm aside, what exactly is this video trying to say?

Well, it seems like there are a lot of things going on at the moment. While I can't get into details, it seems like I have a lot of work for the next few weeks. In any case, it looks like the steady flow of figures continues. I hope that our ASOS Brigade members who are in Southern California are safe.
In any case, this is a pretty funny hybrid /MAD video on Moo Cube.
