So, it is with great excitement that we are now announcing the fourth annual Ghostfest festival for Leeds! This year’s fest again takes place in the Rio’s live music venue at the Grande Arcade on the weekend of Saturday 27 June and Sunday 28 June.

This year sees the festival offer a much more eclectic lineup, offering acts from genres as diverse as electro, acoustic and screamo in addition to the hard-hitting metal lineup that Ghostfest fans have come to expect from the UK’s biggest underground music festival.

Remember, this is just the FIRST batch of announced bands for the fest… Expect updates over the coming weeks leading up to the fest with more bands/after-parties/surprises being added along the way!

Everyone is aware of the difficult financial times the country is currently working through, and to reflect this we have dropped ticket prices to £17.50 per day or £25 for the weekend. We took this step to give you guys better value for money and hope that you will continue to support us through what is set to be by far the biggest Ghostfest yet!

Okay, so for the important bit… This year’s headliners are confirmed as none other than Metal Blade Records’ tech kings WHITECHAPEL for Saturday 27 June and Canadian hard-hitters DESPISED ICON, signed to Century Media recordings, for Sunday 28 June.

We are beyond stoked to have these bands heading the lineup for Ghostfest and are very confident you will be as just as happy as we are to have these incredible live acts on-board.
