Jack has finished mixing the disc.
It's off for mastering on Friday.
Then off to discmakers sometime next week!
We should have the cd by mid-late september.

Wow!

What a summer!

Jack has finished the first round of mixes for both cds [songs and narration]!

We're also teaching a Young Artist Workshop camp at the EMP [Experience Music Project]. It's made up of 30 super cool 5-8th graders who just formed into bands of 3 and 4 members. They start writing and rehearsing their own tunes tomorrow.

We should have some new tracks up soon. Be sure to friend our new characters!

Take care,

Drew

After a month of tracking, summer camping, overdubs, narrations and late nights, we are ready to mix Wonderstuff.

That job falls to Jack. He has the best ears of the bunch. No, really, they're nice ears! He's also our resident pro tools whiz. Good luck Jack!

We're equal parts exhausted and proud.
Excited for everyone to hear it.

It was a close contest but "Penelope" edged out "Lord Chauncifer Abrahms Housenferd the 14th" for the name of the Wonderstuff's narrator. We'll be adding pics from summer camp and recording over the next few weeks. Daron, Jack, and I are having a ton of fun, though it's hard work staying one step ahead of each day's writing, recording, and art. Thanks for stopping by.

Hello!

A lo-fi demo from our upcoming cd.
The cd will have two discs and follow the adventures of a small, stinger-less bee.
Having no real friends to call his own, the little wonderbee carries around his pet rock.
Like most of the songs, pet rock is more universal than super-specific to the story.
Narration will hold the tale together.
We'll start tracking (recording the basic parts) in less than a month!

Whoo!
