We had another good rehearsal and ironed out some rough spots in a few songs. It's smooth sailing from here…I think.

We rehearsed for the first time in a while. We went through all 10 (?) songs. They  sounded good.

We had been focusing on recording lately, so some of the songs have not been played in over a month, but they came to us pretty easily. There were a couple that needed attention, and one song didn't really have definite solo section, so we actually ironed that out, so that was good.

So we have 3 songs up now. Dave just put some bass on "The Same One". All the songs are still somewhat evolving, but I am happy with what we have so far. We will be recording another song to round out the 4 song virtual "demo", but it really won't stop there, as we have a ton of material that needs to get out.

I'm getting really itchy to play. The rehearsal walls have given us all that they can. We have spent that last few rehearsals exclusively on recording, so I'm really ready to get back to playing the tunes and then taking the show on the road.

First I want to give a big "howdy" to our new MySpace friends!  We are glad to have you and appreciate your support as well as the compliments you've been sending us on the tunes.  Keep it comin'!

Today (er, uh, tonight/this morning), I remixed "Is This It?" and posted it on our MySpace page in place of the old version.  None of these are the final mixes of course (there is still work to be done), but now this mix is more at the same level as the "Lisa's Song" mix; in other words - it's livened up a bit.  Take a listen and let us know what you think.

Tomorrow we are getting together to lay down the bass tracks on "The Same One", which is one of my personal favs - fun drum line to play.

After that, we're left with "Victim".  Then we'll go hard and heavy on any "peppa'" we want to add...then slip into the "for realz" mix down.

We're pretty excited about the recordings :)  We'll keep ya posted on things right here baby.

We did some more recording on Sunday. Harbour put fretless bass on "Is This It?". It is really sounding good. I love the fretless and it's perfect for this song.
